Abstract

Abstrak Sambungan pelat ujung (end plate connection) adalah sambungan semi kaku yang secara umum digunakan untuk menghubungkan balok-kolom. Salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan kapasitas lentur sambungan adalah memperluas area sambungan pelat ujung. Namun, upaya yang dilakukan tersebut butuh dievaluasi lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi kuat lentur sambungan pelat ujung dengan memberikan beberapa perkuatan yaitu penambahan area sambungan, pemasangan pengaku pelat badan, dan perpanjangan penyokong di area bawah balok. Untuk mengevaluasi signifikansi perkuatan, benda uji tanpa perkuatan (ordinary end plate connection) digunakan sebagai acuan. Penelitian dilakukan melalui pemberian beban geser yang ditempatkan pada 400 mm dari sambungan dan beban ditingkatkan secara bertahap hingga benda uji gagal. Kajian eksperimental menunjukkan benda uji dengan kombinasi perkuatan berupa penambahan area sambungan dan penambahan pengaku badan memberikan kuat geser dan lentur yang paling baik. Kajian teoritis mengacu ke SNI 03-1729-2020 menunjukkan kuat lentur nominal lebih kecil dibandingkan kuat lentur eksperimental. Hal ini menunjukkan kajian teoritis memberikan kuat lentur lebih konservatif. Kata-kata Kunci: Sambungan pelat ujung, sambungan ordinary end plate, sambungan extended end plate, kuat lentur, kuat geser, deformasi Abstract An end plate connection is a semi-rigid connection used to connect a beam to a column. One alternative to improve the flexural strength is to enlarge the end plate connection area. However, this strengthening approach needs to be more specifically investigated. This study aims to evaluate the flexural strength of the connections by several strengthening methods: enlarging the connection area, installing web stiffeners, and lengthening the haunch at the bottom side of the beam. To examine the significance of strengthening approaches, an un-strengthened specimen (ordinary end plate connection) was considered as the reference. The research work was first carried out by positioning the shear load at a distance of 400 mm from the connection area, and it was gradually increased until the specimens failed. The experimental study also revealed that the specimen strengthened by combining an enlarged connection area and web stiffeners performed the best in terms of shear and flexural strength. The theoretical study referring to the SNI 03-1729-2020 demonstrated the nominal flexural strength, which is smaller than the experimental flexural strength. This behavior showed that the theoretical study provided more conservative flexural strength. Abstract

The city of Batam as a tourist destination can be supported by regional development including the Sembulang sub-district area through the making of RT and RW area maps in Sembulang Sub-District/Village. This large-scale RT and RW map has a role as an official document that records administrative boundaries. Other spatial information in this map will later be needed in the development of the Kelurahan/Village to prepare spatial plans and inventory of village potential. In addition, these regional boundaries function to create administrative order, legal certainty so that it is expected to minimize boundary conflicts, regional fiscal calculations and identification of regional potential (Afdhalia et al., 2021; Lestari et al., 2020; Kemendagri. 2016; Budisusanto et al., 2014 ). The cartometric method can be used in determining and confirming Kelurahan/Village Boundaries in accordance with Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) regulations No.15 of 2019. So this year the community service team proposed kartometric Mapping of RT and RW Boundaries in Sembulang Village. In this service, a delineation of the RT and RW maps of Sembulang Village will be carried out. Determination of Boundaries through participatory mapping and FGD, and handing over the resulting products in the form of RT and RW Maps of Sembulang Village. The map of the boundaries of the RT RW Sembulang area was made with A3 paper size which was submitted to the Sembulang sub-district. This map contains information about the boundaries of the RT&RW areas in Sembulang Village as an information need for residents in Sembulang Village. Based on the results of these measurements, there were several changes to the rough map previously provided by the Sembulang Village, namely the expansion of one RT, which was originally 1 RT. From the results of this dedication, a map of the boundaries of the area was submitted to the Sembulang Village in print format.

Abstract

Guppy fish (Poecillia reticulata) is a type of freshwater ornamental fish that is widely known and is an export commodity. The advantages of guppy fish include having interesting color variations and various fin patterns, easy to maintain and easy to breed. Male guppies have a higher economic value than female guppies. Because male fish have a more attractive shape and color than female fish. In order to increase the economic value of guppy fish, it is necessary to make efforts to increase the color intensity of guppy fish. This study aims to determine the color intensity of guppy fish (Poecilia reticulata) enriched with marigold flower flour. The experimental design used in the study was 2 treatments and 2 replications. Treatment A = Without marigold flower flour and Treatment B = Using marigold flower flour. Parameters observed were fish color measurement, weight growth, survival. The results showed that the addition of marigold flour had a significant effect on color intensity (p 0.05).

Abstract

ABSTRAK           Unsur iklim erat hubungannya dengan cuaca yang dapat menurunkan suatu usaha budidaya. Salah satu unsur iklim yang berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan produktivitas tanaman yaitu angin. Kecepatan angin memegang peran penting dalam evapotranspirasi, karena sebanding dengan evapotranspirasi. Data evapotranspirasi digunakan untuk kepentingan sumber daya air dan menghitung kesetimbangan air khususnya keperluan penentuan kebutuhan air bagi tanaman dalam periode pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman sorgum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan bagaimana kecepatan angin dan evapotranspirasi mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman sorgum. Penelitian dilakukan di lapangan percobaan Stasiun Klimatologi BMKG Aceh, Aceh Besar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi analisa regresi linier berganda, uji T, uji F, koefisien korelasi dan koefisien determinasi. Parameter penelitian meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, berat basah/tanaman dan berat basah/plot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan angin berpengaruh terhadap bobot basah tanaman dan bobot basah/plot. Evapotranspirasi berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan bobot basah/plot. Hasil analisa uji F simultan menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan angin dan evapotranspirasi memiliki pengaruh secara simultan terhadap tinggi tanaman. Kecepatan angin menunjukkan hubungan yang kuat terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan bobot basah/plot, serta memiliki hubungan yang cukup berarti terhadap terhadap produksi bobot basah tanaman/plot.  ABSTRACT           Climate elements are closely related to weather which can reduce a cultivation business. One of the climate elements that influences plant growth and productivity is wind. Wind speed plays an important role in evapotranspiration, because it is proportional to evapotranspiration. Evapotranspiration data is used for water resources purposes and calculating water balance, especially for determining water needs for plants during the growth and production period of sorghum plants. This research aimed to determine how wind speed and evapotranspiration affect the growth and production of sorghum plants. The research was carried out at the experimental field of the BMKG Aceh Climatology Station, Aceh Besar. The research methods used include multiple linear regression analysis, T test, F test, correlation coefficient and coefficient of determination. Research parameters included plant height, number of leaves, wet weight/plant and wet weight/plot. The results showed that wind speed had an effect on plant wet weight and wet weight/plot. Evapotranspiration partially influences plant height, number of leaves and wet weight/plot. The results of the simultaneous F test analysis showed that wind speed and evapotranspiration had a simultaneous influence on plant height. Wind speed showed a strong relationship with plant height, number of leaves, and fresh weight/plot, and had a significant relationship with the production of fresh weight of plants/plot.

Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di Desa Lingkok, Kecamatan Titeu, Kabupaten Pidie, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas sosial, pendidikan, dan kepedulian lingkungan masyarakat desa melalui pendekatan partisipatif. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi masyarakat meliputi perbedaan pendapat dalam pengambilan keputusan bersama, keterbatasan akses pendidikan, serta rendahnya kesadaran terhadap kebersihan dan kelestarian lingkungan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi observasi lapangan, diskusi kelompok, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan aksi sosial secara langsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat, tumbuhnya kesadaran akan pentingnya pendidikan dan lingkungan, serta terbangunnya hubungan sosial yang lebih harmonis antara mahasiswa dan masyarakat. Program KKN ini memberikan dampak positif secara sosial dan edukatif serta dapat menjadi model kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berbasis kebutuhan lokal.
