The intervention was carried out using educational media in the form of the “Aneminfo” android application. Changes in knowledge and attitudes between before and after the intervention were measured using a validated questionnaire and tested using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. Results: The results showed a significant increase in knowledge in the intervention group (p = 0.001), and there was a significant increase in attitude in the intervention group (p = 0.011) compared to the control group. The conclusion of this study is the Aneminfo android application can be an alternative media for the government and health workers in providing education about iron deficiency anemia to increase adolescent knowledge and prevent anemia from an early age.

Abstract

Hospital customer complaints must be responded with good complaint management and assisted with e-complaint applications. As a hospital that has applied e-complaint applications for two years, there has never been an evaluation of complaint management using this e-complaint application at the hospital both in terms of the time of complaint completion and quality improvement of hospital services. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of an e-complaint system for managing customer complaint at one of the type-C private hospitals in Central Java using the HOT FIT approach. This study was qualitative research with an exploratory case study design through in-depth interviews using HOT FIT variables, such as Human, Organization, Technology, and Net Benefit. This study involves 8 main informants and 3 triangulation informants. This study showed that organizational aspects play an important role in encouraging people to the successful implementation of technology. Organizational problems can influence time to resolve complaints due to weak monitoring conducted by superiors who can also relate to the use of complaints data as input for quality improvement. Without the support of organizational commitment to run the technology-based system, the benefits of the system will not be obtained to support complaint management. It is recommended for hospitals to optimize organizational functions for the system and encourage staffs so that they achieve the benefits of the system for the organization's performance.

Abstract

Since 2016, the Hospital ‘X’ has been operating an Electric Medical Record (EMR) and it is integrated with all units, including pharmacy, and it intends to increase its efficiency. 50% of hospital’s income comes from the pharmacy and there is no evaluation related to the using of EMR towards quality of drugs planning. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between technology factors (system quality, information quality, service quality) of EMR and quality of drugs management at the pharmacy of the Hospital ‘X’. This research uses quantitative research method with cross-sectional approach, and it involves 53 respondents with questionnaire as the data collection technique. The data itself analyzed by SEM PLS (Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square). The research results show that the information quality of EMR gave significant correlation with the quality of drugs planning, whereas the system quality and EMR service quality were not influenced. The correlation between the information quality and the perception of drugs management quality was significant with T-statistics 7,9508>1.96 and the sample original value was 0.6551. The system quality was not significant with T-statistics 1.6159 < 1.96 and the sample original value was positive, 0.1702. The service quality was not significant with T-statistics 0.6297 < 1.96, with the sample original value was negative, -0.0591. This research shows that the simplicity aspect in understanding the information influences towards the utilization of drugs management, but it needs to increase the system and service quality from the devices, connectivity, network, and upgrading the staff capability aspects.

Abstract

Belum didapatkan perbedaan signifikan Net Death Rate (NDR) dan Length of Stay (LOS) pasien sesudah penerapan EWS (p=0,862 and p=0,105; CI 95%). ABSTRACT Early Warning System (EWS) in patient clinical change is a patient care information system to support clinical decision making. The study aimed to compare patient outcomes before and after EWS implementation according to system usage level in X Hospital. The study was an analytic comparative research. Data collected from EWS usage level audit in 19,810 samples of inpatient medical records and hospital statistic data. The result showed that proper usage of EWS in X Hospital ward was 22.81%. There was no significant difference about Net Death Rate and patient length of stay in X hospital (p=0,862 and p=0,105; CI 95%). Significant increase of Code Blue activation and decrease in HCU admission after EWS implementation (p=0,001 and p=0,038; CI 95%) was contrary to the expected results. A significant decrease in ICU admission after EWS implementation (p=0,013; CI 95%), related to low proper usage of EWS in X Hospital, can be caused by factors other than EWS. Without a good EWS implementation, positive impact to hospital ward service quality cannot be reached. Keywords: Hospital Service Quality; Inpatient; Early Warning System

tributors of climate change and global warming. The success of green hospital implementation depends on the leader’s commitment and acceptance from all employees. This study aimed to analyze the level of acceptance from the hospital’s employees on the concept of green hospital at Tugurejo General District Hospital, Central Java province. This study used a pre-experimental design with one group pretest – posttest. This study was conducted in March to April 2020. There were 300 employees as the samples selected by using a random sampling technique. The data analysis was done in Smart PLS 3.0. The results showed the variables of innovation characteristics, knowledge, and leader’s role significantly gave a positive effecton the employees’ acceptance of the concept adoption. However, communication channel did not affect their acceptance of the concept. The Smith-Satterthwait test showed innovation characteristics, knowledge, and leaders’ role towards the employees’ commitment in the pretest were significantly different from the posttest. Abstract

Background: Increased population mobility has continued to occur over time, especially worker mobility consisting of commuter mobility and circular mobility. A person's mobility is very influential on the condition of health status, especially related to the spread of infectious diseases. Direct infectious disease is a disease with the transfer of germs through physical contact from a sick person or a carrier to a healthy person. Objectives: To analyze the impact of the population mobility revolution on the spread of infectious diseases in Indonesia. Research Metodes: The study was conducted by studying literature through collecting supporting articles and analyzing secondary data. The data used are direct infectious disease data consisting of Tuberculosis, HIV, Hepatitis and Leprosy from the Indonesian Health Profile, Main Results of Basic Health Research, and Statistics Data from the Central Statistics Agency, as well as previous research articles. Results: The trend of the mobility of movers experienced an increase in line with trends in communicable diseases such as Tuberculosis, HIV, and Hepatitis. High mobility affects the spread of infectious diseases Tuberculosis, Hepatitis and Leprosy seen from the factor of interaction with others, as well as the influence on HIV. The influence can be seen from Commercial Sex Workers (CSWs) who transmit to their customers and the families of CSW customers who can transmit it to their wives. Conclusion: The increased mobility pattern of movers is accompanied by an increased pattern of direct infectious diseases including tuberculosis, HIV, and hepatitis.
