Abstract

Lack of interest in student learning can affect student learning outcomes, so it is necessary to develop media that can increase student interest in learning. The purpose of this study was to analyze the validity of the Fun thinker's media with a literature review on the energy change material for grade IV elementary school. This type of research is developed using the ADDIE research model. The subjects of this research are 2 material experts, 2 media experts. The test subjects were 1 teacher and 10 students. The data collection method used is a non-test instrument. The data collection instrument used is a questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive quantitative statistical data analysis techniques. The results of the analysis of media validity. Fun thinkers from material experts were in the range of 0.75-1.00, and media experts were in the range of 0.75-1.00, the percentage of practitioner response test results obtained a value of 99%, and the percentage of student response test results obtained a score of 97%. Media Fun thinkers are equipped with a literature review for fourth-grade elementary school students on energy change materials with high validity qualifications. It is concluded that Media Fun thinkers equipped with a literature review are suitable for the learning process.

Abstract

If the teacher only applies the lecture method, science learning is complex for students to understand. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the experimental-based VAK learning model on science learning outcomes in fifth-grade elementary school students. This research belongs to the quasi-experimental research (Quasi Experiment). The research design is the Non-Equivalent Post-test Only Control Group Design. The research population totaled 172 students. This research will use a random sampling technique. The research sample was 62 students. The data collection method used is the test method. The research instrument was a multiple-choice question sheet. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of this study show a significant influence of the experimental-based Visual Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model on the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students. It was concluded that the Experiment-based Visual Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model could improve the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students. The VAK learning model can help students and make science learning fun.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes are influenced by the low interest of students in participating in learning, one of the contributing factors is the lack of use of learning media that is in accordance with student characteristics and learning objectives. This study aims to develop Problem Based Learning Big Book learning media on the theme of togetherness. This research belongs to the type of development research which was developed with the ADDIE model through five stages, namely the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The subjects involved in this study were material experts, design experts, learning media experts, and 23 students. Data collection in the study was carried out using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The instrument used is in the form of media validity sheets, as well as multiple choice test questions. The data obtained in the study were then analyzed using correlated t-test analysis techniques. The results of data analysis show that tcount > ttable or 5.23 > 1.68, with the decision being made that if tcount > ttable, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning-based big book learning media that was developed is effectively used as a learning medium, which supports the learning process in class so that it can achieve learning goals well and can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Science learning requires media to support the delivery of generally abstract material that becomes concrete. Media use is limited and less varied, so demand and student learning outcomes decrease. This study aims to develop interactive multimedia based on problem-based learning on material changes in the form of objects in grade V elementary schools that are valid, practical, and effective. This research belongs to the development research developed with the ADDIE model. The data collection methods used are questionnaires, observations, and tests. The data obtained in the study were then analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of development research through validity testing from material experts were 96.67%, learning design experts 94.23%, media experts 93.33%, individual trials 93.89%, and small group trials 90.55%; the practicality test of student responses was 89.12%, and the observation of the implementation of learning activities was 93.33%. The result of the effectiveness test is that there is a significant difference in students' science cognitive learning outcomes before and after using interactive multimedia based on problem-based learning, so interactive multimedia is effectively used to improve student learning outcomes. It was concluded that interactive multimedia based on problem-based learning is valid, practical, and effective when applied to natural science content material for changes in the shape of objects for fifth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Learning media is used to convey messages to educators and students. The lack of use of technology-based media causes students to experience difficulties in understanding complex science material. This research aims to create audio-visual learning media with a PowerPoint application based on problem-based problem-based learning on the water cycle topic for fifth-grade elementary school students. This research uses the ADDIE model. The data collection methods and instruments used in this research are questionnaires, rating scales, and tests. The subject of this research is a product in the form of audio-visual learning media with a Powtoon application based on problem-based learning on the water cycle. At the same time, the object of development is content validity, practicality, and product effectiveness. The data analysis technique uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The research results showed that the level of media validity was in the very good category. The results of the effectiveness test of audio-visual media with the Powtoon application based on Problem-Based Learning show that there is a significant difference between audio-visual learning media and the Powtoon application based on problem-based learning on the topic of the water cycle for the fifth-grade elementary school students on learning outcomes. So, the learning media developed is feasible and effective to improve student learning outcomes. This research implies that teachers can use video media in learning.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students in IPAS subjects in the third grade of elementary school, particularly in the material on the life cycle of living things, is the main focus of this study. This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of the Fun Thinkers Book, a context-based learning tool, as an educational aid to improve student learning outcomes. The research design employed is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model, which consists of the following stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects include one class of third-grade students. Data collection techniques were conducted through questionnaires and documentation of learning outcomes, using instruments such as expert validation questionnaires and learning outcome tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results of the study indicate that the use of the Fun Thinkers Book significantly improves students' IPAS learning outcomes. This media proved effective in presenting material in a contextual and engaging manner, as well as encouraging active student participation during the learning process. This study concluded that the Fun Thinkers Book media, based on a contextual approach, is suitable and effective for supporting improvements in student learning outcomes in IPAS. Implicitly, this media can serve as an innovative learning strategy alternative in creating a more meaningful and enjoyable learning environment.
