Abstract

Abstract

The material for the AC-WC hotmix mixture will affect the quality of the AC-WC hotmix itself. In the Bandung City area and its surroundings, materials for the AC-WC hotmix mixture are usually used which are taken from the Lagadar quarry and Baleendah quarry. Therefore, testing is carried out with the aim of comparing the quality of the material from which quarry is better between the two quarries. In addition, testing is needed on the asphalt that will be used because it will also affect the quality of the AC-WC hotmix asphalt produced, and testing is needed on the AC-WC hotmix sample itself by conducting a marshall test. Then the pavement thickness calculation is carried out using the AASTHO 1993 method to determine the thickness of the flexible pavement. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out on the AC-WC hotmix mixture material taken from the two quarries, the results are quite good, both meet the required specifications. In addition, the test results on the 60/70 pen asphalt used also showed good results because all test results carried out met the specifications according to the existing SNI. The results of the marshall test on the two AC-WC hotmix samples produced showed good results. All marshall parameters for the two samples met the required specifications, but of the two AC-WC hotmix samples, the AC-WC hotmix sample with mixed material from the Baleendah quarry had better marshall parameter values.

Abstract

The Distribution Center (DC) of Toko X plays a crucial role in the logistics system of a minimarket retail company, ensuring the delivery of goods to branch stores. Despite having a structured picking process supported by pick-to-light technology, discrepancies in item quantities—referred to as picking variances—continue to occur. This study was conducted through direct observation and interviews with warehouse staff, followed by a root cause analysis using the 5 Whys method. The analysis revealed that the primary cause stems from human error, particularly non-compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the absence of regular performance evaluations for pickers. As a corrective measure, a continuous improvement approach based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle was designed.

Abstract

Population growth and economic activity in West Java and Central Java increase traffic volume and congestion, especially in the southern lanes that do not have toll roads. The distribution of goods and people's mobility still rely on arterial roads such as Jalan Nagreg which is narrow and prone to congestion. This study aims to analyze the planning of the Gedebage-Tasikmalaya-Cilacap Toll Road Section I of the Gedebage-North Garut section with a quantitative descriptive method. The results show segments 1–6 are heavy traffic, while segments 7–10 are smooth. Trase 2 was chosen because it was more optimal in terms of technical, cost, and environmental aspects. The planning includes 41 PIs, 79 PVIs, three main interchanges, as well as the construction of 300 mm JRCP pavement, 150 mm thin concrete, 200 mm class A concrete, and 200 mm optional stacks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the investment feasibility of the Bandung Intra Urban Toll Road (BIUTR) construction project using Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), and Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR) methods. The research employs a quantitative descriptive approach, analyzing investment and operational costs projected over a 45-year concession period. Data were processed into project cash flows and evaluated using investment feasibility indicators. The results show that under the Rp1,600 tariff scenario, the project yields a positive NPV of Rp90.66 billion and an IRR of 11.04%, which exceeds the Minimum Attractive Rate of Return (MARR) of 9.31%. The payback period is reached in year 22, month 7, and day 14, indicating the project begins to generate net profit before the concession ends. A BCR value greater than 1 also indicates that the financial benefits outweigh the incurred costs. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for the government and investors in making strategic decisions regarding toll road infrastructure investments based on financial feasibility.

Abstract

Slum areas in major cities often reflect policy failures and a lack of political will. This study aims to examine the revitalization of the Karang Mumus area in Samarinda through a vertical land consolidation approach (KTV). The research employs a qualitative method, utilizing observations and literature studies from secondary data and field reviews. Findings indicate that the Karang Mumus area covers 8.72 hectares and has been prioritized for intervention through a collaborative funding scheme. Location scoring analysis, based on key and supporting factors, shows that the readiness of potential new locations ranges from 50% to 75%. The implications of these findings suggest that the implementation of KTV requires significant efforts and support from various stakeholders to improve slum settlements into more livable, clean, orderly, safe, and healthy environments. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers in planning and prioritizing slum revitalization in major cities.
