Abstract

The development and improvement of mango plant quality can be achieved by providing high-quality mango seedlings in large quantities, in a short time, and at an affordable price. Vegetative propagation is an alternative method for obtaining high-quality seedlings, one of which is through grafting. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of applying aloe vera gel as a natural growth regulator (NGR) on scions for the success of grafting honey mango seedlings. The study was conducted at the experimental farm of the Indonesian Polytechnic of Venezuela in Cot Suruy Village, Ingin Jaya Sub-district, Aceh Besar District, from May to July 2024. The study utilized simple linear regression analysis. The observed parameters werestem height, stem diameter, and the number of leaves. The results of the ANOVA F-test analysis showed that treatments M0, M1, and M3 had an F-table value greater than the F-calculated value, indicating that the regression model was not statistically significant. However, treatment M2 had an F-table value smaller than the F-calculated value.

Abstract

The production of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) in rural areas represents an effort to diversify agricultural products, which can improve the welfare of local communities by utilizing coconut as a regional natural resource. VCO offers numerous health benefits, such as boosting the immune system,  lowering cholesterol, and containing high levels of antioxidants. This community service program aims to provide the local population with the knowledge and practical skills on how to produce VCO properly. The methodology includes socialization, technical training, evaluation, and follow-up assistance. The pre- and post-test evaluation results show a significant improvement in participants' knowledge and skills. Approximately 85% of the participants understood the process of making VCO after the training, indicating the program's effectiveness. Furthermore, this initiative has opened new economic opportunities, with several participants beginning to produce and sell VCO independently. The main challenges faced include limited capital and market access. However, with continuous support and assistance from various stakeholders, this program is expected to further develop. The production of VCO presents a promising alternative to increase the income of rural communities and reduce dependence on a single agricultural commodity

Abstract

Liquid organic fertilizer offers numerous benefits, including enhancing soil fertility, promoting plant growth, and reducing the need for chemical fertilizers that can have a negative environmental impact. The Community Service Program (PKM) aims to provide information to students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 5 Kota Banda Aceh on the production and use of soursop leaf extract as a liquid organic fertilizer, as well as new knowledge for students on how to utilize natural resources in their surroundings to improve the school's economic environment. Fertilization through leaves has another advantage: nutrients are more quickly absorbed by plants through the stomata of the leaves, resulting in visible new growth, such as new shoots. The students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 5 Banda Aceh were very enthusiastic and interested in processing liquid organic fertilizer with soursop leaf extract, thereby expanding the community's knowledge and increasing the students' understanding of using soursop leaf POC as a material for making natural fertilizer.

Abstract

Salah satu hal yang paling krusial bagi sebuah bisnis khususnya UMKM adalah pencatatan laporan keuangan. Namun, saat ini banyak perusahaan yang masih kesulitan menangani keuangan mereka secara efektif dan efisien. Pelaku usaha di Desa Argerorejo, khususnya Angkringan Mas Dwi dan Jajanan Sempol-Siomay, rawan kesalahan pencatatan laporan keuangan karena berbagai alasan. Salah satu alasannya adalah kurangnya keahlian dan pengetahuan yang diperlukan untuk mulai mendokumentasikan laporan keuangan secara akurat dan lengkap. Oleh karena itu, guna memudahkan pencatatan laporan keuangan bagi badan usaha di Desa Argorejo, pengabdian masyarakat ini memberikan sosialisasi penggunaan aplikasi Sepran untuk pencatatan laporan, khususnya pada bidang praktek pencatatan yang menyangkut kegiatan pendokumentasian transaksi keuangan yang telah terjadi. Tekniknya meliputi survey, sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Dalam pemanfaatan aplikasi Sepran untuk mencatat laporan keuangan, hasil dari layanan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi pemilik perusahaan di Desa Argerejo, khususnya angkringan Mas Dwi dan Jajanan Sempol-Siomay.

Abstract

Kopi arabika ( Coffee Arabica  L ). Kopi   merupakan salah satu hasil komoditi perkebunan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis yang cukup tinggi di antara tanaman perkebunan lainnya, tanaman kopi termasuk dalam Class Magnoliopsida / Dicotyledons (tumbuhan berkeping dua) dan ordo Rubiales. Peneliti  ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  analisis perbedaan produksi kopi arabika ( Coffee Arabica L). Peneliti ini dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah Kecamatan Bintang dari tanggal 17-28 September 2018. Peneliti ini menggunakan metode Diskriptif Analisis. Pengambilan sampel data produksi sebanyak tiga kali tiga level ketinggian 1.000 – 1.100 mdpl di daerah kampung Atu Payung,  1.200 – 1.300 mpdl di daerah kampung Jamur Konyel kampung Linung Bulen 1 1.400 – 1.500 mdpl. Masing-masing ketinggian diambil luas lahan sampel 1 ha jadi total keseluruhan sampel menjadi 3 ha. Kesimpulan Produksi  dijumpai di Desa Jamur Konyel sebesar 5.400 Kg pada ketinggian tempat 1.200 –1.300  mdpl,  produksi  gelondong merah kopi tertinggi terdapat pada tahun panen antara tahun 2015 sampai tahun  2017.  Adapun produksi gelondong merah kopi rendah terdapat pada Desa  Atu Payung  yaitu 1.680 kg dengan ketinggian tempat 1.000 – 1.100  mdpl

Abstract

Luthu Lamweu Village is one of the villages located in Suka Makmur District, Aceh Besar Regency. This village has a very large agricultural land and lettuce plants are one of the main commodities. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of the Luthu Lamweu Village Community regarding the manufacture and use of a toplesponik system for efficient, easy and fast growth of lettuce vegetables. Community Service activities consist of several lecturers assisted by several students conducting surveys and analyzing the situation in the village so that the problems that occur can be identified. The survey results show that one of the problems faced by the community is the low knowledge of the community about hydroponics. The solution to the problems faced by the community is through providing knowledge on how to make and use a good jarponik system on vegetable plants by utilizing the potential of natural resources in the village in improving community welfare. The people of Luthu Lamweu Village, especially the PKK mothers, were very enthusiastic in participating in this Community Service Activity. The result of this Community Service Activity is that the community has understood the process of making and using the topleponik system and can apply it so that it can meet their needs and improve the community's economic level.

Abstract

Rice waste is the remnants of the rice farming process produced during rice production. Straw is agricultural waste from the remaining rice harvest that has not been maximally utilized and the amount is quite large during the rice harvest period.  This community service activity aims to socialize to the community so that the community is able to increase knowledge and skills through the utilization of waste in the form of rice straw as raw material which can then be processed into handicrafts in the form of brooms and duster in Lambaet Village, Kuta Baro District, Aceh Besar Regency. The people of Lambaet Village are very interested and enthusiastic about the socialization of the utilization of straw waste into more useful products, so that they can optimize the utilization of straw waste in the village. The result of this community service activity is that the community has understood and known the processing of straw waste and has the creativity in making various kinds of handicrafts from straw, not only can it be used as a basic material for making brooms and duster but the community can also form creations - handicraft creations in other forms. The hope is that the emergence of community creativity in processing straw waste can increase family income for the community, in addition to minimizing air pollution conditions due to burned straw waste

Abstract

Gampong Lamcceu is one of the villages located in Kuta Baro District, Aceh Besar Regency. Administratively, Lamceu gampong has 3 (three hamlets), namely Lamceu Hamlet, Lamtuha Hamlet, Lam Hamlet. Residents of Lamceu Village generally work in the agricultural sector either as farmers, breeders, gardeners and only a small number work outside the agricultural sector such as Civil Servants. , traders and teaching staff (non-PNS teachers or lecturers). The people of Lamceu village generally carry out plant cultivation activities, both plantation crops and agriculture, which is their main occupation. The survey results show that one of the problems faced by the community is the low level of public knowledge about kitchen waste management. The solution to the problems faced by the community is by providing knowledge on how to process kitchen waste into plant growth regulators by utilizing the potential of natural resources in the village to improve community welfare. The people of Lamceu Village, especially the PKK women, are very enthusiastic about participating in this Community Service Activity. The result of this Community Service Activity is that the community understands the process of making red onion skin kitchen waste into a growth regulator

Abstract

Pada lansia sistem muskuloskeletal akan mengalami beberapa perubahan seperti perubahan pada jaringan penghubung (kolagen dan elastin),berkurangnya kemempuan kartilago untuk berdegenerasi,kepadatan tulang berkurang,perubahan struktur otot,dan terjadi penurunan elastisitas sendi.Hal ini menyebabkan sebagian besar dari lansia mengalami gangguan sistem muskuloskeletal,yang menyebabkan nyeri sendi. TRheumatoid artritis merupakan gangguan auto imun.Artinya, penyakit ini muncul ketika system kekebalan tubuh secara keliru menyerang jaringan tubuh kita sendiri..Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui terapi kompres jahe terhadap perubahan intensitas nyeri sendi pada lansia yang menderita rheumatoid artritis di Panti Sosial. Metode penelitian ini adalahquasy-eksperimendengan rancangan one grup pre-test-post test design. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10 september 2018 sampai 14 september 2018. Sampel sebanyak 33 responden, dengan teknik total sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan statistik ujit-test. Hasil penelitian menujukan rata-rata intensitas nyeri rheumatoid artritis sebelum (pre-test) dilakukan kompres jahe adalah 4,786 dengan standar deviasi 1,239. Sedangkan rata-rata intensitas nyeri setelah (post-test)kompres jahe adalah 3,357 dengan standar deviasi 1,031.Berdasarkan uji statistik t-testdidapatkan p-value 0,000(<0,05),berarti ada pengaruh yang signifikan kompres jahe terhadap intensitas nyeri rheumatoid artritis.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut kompres jahe dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk mengurangi intensitas nyeri rheumatoid artritis. Abstract

Pendidikan sangat penting sebagai sarana untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat miskin dan tahap awal perkembangan anak. Saat ini, pemerintah sedang mempertimbangkan untuk memberlakukan undang- undang yang mewajibkan pembelajaran jarak jauh (pembelajaran online) atau mengurangi jumlah waktu yang dihabiskan siswa di kelas. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran di kelas cukup tidak konsisten dan dapat berdampak negatif terhadap motivasi belajar anak. Motivasi individu sangatlah penting karena dapat mempengaruhi kinerja seseorang dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk dalam kegiatan belajarnya. Motivasi dapat berfungsi sebagai panduan untuk mencapai hasil yang diinginkan. dengan menggunakan senam irama.
