Abstract

Prokrastinasi akademik dapat menjadi tantangan yang signifikan dalam mengembangkan keterampilan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas upaya mengurangi prokrastinasi akademik melalui pembelajaran klasikal pada siswa MTSN 1 Payakumbuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dimana siswa sebagai subjek utamanya. Pendekatan konselor klasik dilakukan oleh konselor yang fokus pada pemberian informasi, teknik manajemen waktu, dan peningkatan motivasi diri. Siswa juga akan berpartisipasi dalam diskusi kelompok dan berbagi pengalaman serta strategi untuk mengatasi penundaan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner untuk menilai tingkat prokrastinasi sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan prokrastinasi akademik siswa secara signifikan. Faktor-faktor seperti pemahaman konsep waktu, perencanaan tugas, dan motivasi belajar menjadi inti dalam upaya mengatasi penundaan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nasihat tradisional dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk membantu siswa mengembangkan kebiasaan belajar yang lebih produktif

Abstract

The problem identified in this study is the low learning outcomes of sixth-grade students in Islamic Religious Education, specifically in the subject of prayer and its implementation. One of the causes is the lack of variety in the teaching strategies used by teachers, which results in students becoming less enthusiastic, bored, and unmotivated to actively participate in learning, leading to low learning outcomes. Therefore, there is a need for new innovations in the form of applying the latest learning strategies to improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education learning and contribute to the development of Islamic Religious Education teachers' competence in formulating learning strategies and models in the application of learning media. This study used a quantitative experimental method in the form of a one-group pre-test-post-test only, which compares the test results before treatment (pre-test) with the test results after treatment (post-test). The population of this study was all students in elementary school, totaling 84 students, and the sample was grade VI, consisting of one class with 17 students. The data collection method in this study was in the form of pre-test and post-test results conducted in the experimental class. Furthermore, data analysis used normality tests and paired sample t-tests with the help of IBM statistics. Research results Based on the results of the research and discussion in elementary schools, there was an increase in the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education in Character Building after applying a combination of cooperative learning strategies, namely the student team achievement division type and the discovery learning type

Abstract

Maraknya kekerasan di institusi pendidikan, yang diperparah oleh kasus fatal di sebuah pondok pesantren di Sumatera Barat, menegaskan kebutuhan mendesak untuk mewujudkan Sekolah Ramah Anak (SRA). Sebagai respons, sebuah program pengabdian dirancang untuk membekali para guru di sekolah berasrama dengan kompetensi pencegahan kekerasan melalui pendekatan psikoedukasi dan spiritual. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) bersama para akademisi untuk merancang intervensi, yang kemudian diimplementasikan dalam bentuk pendampingan langsung kepada para guru. Program ini mendapat sambutan positif karena memberikan kerangka kerja baru yang memadukan wawasan psikologis dengan fondasi spiritual yang telah ada. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan ini berhasil memvalidasi praktik-praktik intuitif yang selama ini telah dilakukan guru, sekaligus meningkatkan kesadaran mereka terhadap berbagai bentuk kekerasan. Guru juga mampu mengidentifikasi tantangan seperti pentingnya kolaborasi dengan orang tua. Secara keseluruhan, program ini sukses memberdayakan para pendidik dengan strategi konkret untuk membangun lingkungan sekolah yang aman. Para guru kini beralih dari pendekatan naluriah ke metode yang lebih terstruktur dan sadar dalam mencegah kekerasan, menjadi agen perubahan proaktif untuk mewujudkan SRA.

Abstract

Students’ self-confidence is an important psychological aspect that supports their academic and social development. Internal factors such as self-concept and self-esteem play a significant role in shaping self-confidence and therefore need to be examined empirically. This study aimed to determine the effect of self-concept on students’ self-confidence, the effect of self-esteem on students’ self-confidence, and the simultaneous effect of self-concept and self-esteem on students’ self-confidence. This research employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population consisted of all seventh- and eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Malalak, totaling 72 students, and total sampling was applied so that all population members were included as research samples. The research instruments were self-concept, self-esteem, and self-confidence scales developed by the researcher. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results indicated that self-concept had a positive and significant effect on students’ self-confidence with a contribution of 35.8%. Self-esteem also showed a positive and significant effect on self-confidence with a contribution of 60.9%. Simultaneously, self-concept and self-esteem contributed 61.0% to students’ self-confidence. These findings highlight the importance of fostering self-concept and self-esteem to enhance students’ self-confidence.

Abstract

In this study, the author uses a quantitative approach with a correlation research type. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The sampling technique in this study uses Probability Sampling with a sample size of 257 from a population of 778. The model chosen is simple random sampling, the data collection technique uses a questionnaire, then analyzed using the Anova test with the help of SPSS 2020. The findings from the research day are as follows: 1) Based on the results (tcount> ttable) with a tcount value of 14.357 and a ttable of 1.9693. The effect of dhuha prayer on students' spiritual quotient at MTsN 6 Agam Kubang Putih is 47.7%. 2) Based on the results (tcount>ttable) with a tcount value of 12.789 and a ttable of 1.9693. The effect of dhikr on students' spiritual quotient at MTsN 6 Agam Kubang Putih is 39.7%. 3) Based on the results (Fcount>Ftable) with an Fcount value of 125.789 and an Ftable of 3.04. At a 5% error level with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, the Dhuha prayer and dhikr together have an effect on the spiritual quotient of students at MTsN 6 Agam Kubang Putih by 49.4%.
