Abstract

Gangguan sikomatis adalah fenomena kompleks di mana gejala fisik dialami tanpa adanya penyebab medis yang jelas, seringkali dikaitkan dengan faktor-faktor psikologis seperti stres, kecemasan, dan depresi. Dalam mengelola gangguan sikomatis, pendekatan terintegrasi antara psikologi dan kedokteran menjadi kunci untuk memberikan perawatan yang holistik dan efektif. Artikel ini menyajikan tinjauan terhadap peran psikologi dalam membantu individu yang menderita gangguan sikomatis, dengan menyoroti berbagai metode intervensi psikologis yang telah terbukti efektif, termasuk terapi kognitif perilaku, relaksasi, dan teknik manajemen stres. Selain itu, stigma terhadap masalah kesehatan mental juga diidentifikasi sebagai hambatan utama dalam mencari dan menerima bantuan psikologis bagi individu dengan gangguan sikomatis, menekankan pentingnya upaya untuk mengurangi stigma dan meningkatkan akses terhadap layanan kesehatan mental. Akhirnya, pendekatan terintegrasi antara psikologi dan kedokteran diuraikan sebagai strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pengelolaan dan perawatan holistik bagi individu yang menderita gangguan sikomatis.

Abstract

Bullying, yang semakin merajalela di Indonesia, terutama lingkungan sekolah. Tindakan prundungan dapat dilakukan secara fisik maupun verbal, dapat terjadi secara berulang dan bisa dilakukan melalui kata-kata atau perbuatan merendahkan yang membuat korban merasa tidak aman. Tujuan dari kajian literatur ini adalah untuk meneliti dampak bullying terhadap gangguan psikologis anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bullying memiliki dampak yang serius pada kesejahteraan psikologis anak-anak. Dari depresi hingga gangguan kecemasan, perundungan secara berulang dapat menyebabkan berbagai masalah mental yang berdampak negatif pada perkembangan dan kualitas hidup anak-anak. Oleh karena itu, catatan bagi orang tua, sekolah, dan masyarakat secara keseluruhan untuk bekerja sama dalam mencegah dan mengatasi perundungan guna melindungi kesehatan psikologis anak-anak dan menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan nyaman bagi mereka.

Abstract

Low Back Pain (LBP) has long been recognized as the only musculoskeletal condition that adversely affects more than three adults in daily life, known as the second skeletal ganglion. Hot Stone Massage uses bones that have been trained to be used as a means of relaxing muscles, ligaments and tendons. Objective: to determine the effectiveness of Hot Stone Massage in reducing pain in LBP sufferers. The research method used is a literature review approach, by searching for references using the PICO method on the Google Scholar database over a period of 10 years. Results: From the 3 journals studied, Hot Stone Massage had an effect on reducing pain in patients suffering from LBP, with temperature intensity >38°C and p-value p<0.05 showing a significant effect. Conclusion: The use of hot stone therapy also reduces the amount of pain that interferes with daily activities, such as the ability to manage loads, work performance, and sleep quality, in addition to providing long-lasting pain protection for most users during use and for two weeks after use.

Abstract

Growth of abnormal cells that tend to attack surrounding tissue and spread to other organs of the body is a non-communicable disease that is a public health problem. In 91 countries from 172 countries around the world, cancer is the first or second most common cause of death before the age of 70 (World Health Organization, 2015). Families of patients undergoing chemotherapy sometimes need support to reduce their despair that their disease cannot be cured or cured. The physical and psychological health effects of chemotherapy can make some patients afraid to receive it. Therefore, families must help cancer patients stay motivated to receive chemotherapy. Research was conducted using the literature review method using the PICO search in the Google Scholar database. Five journals that met the criteria presented the results of the relationship between family support and the motivation to treat cancer patients.

Abstract

Therapeutic communication is an important element in the care of elderly people in social institutions, influencing their quality of life, emotional well-being and social interactions. However, effective implementation of therapeutic communication in this context is often faced with challenges such as communication barriers and lack of adequate training for social home staff. This research aims to explore the importance of therapeutic communication in the context of elderly people in social institutions in Indonesia, as well as to highlight the relationship between therapeutic communication practices and the quality of life, emotional well-being and social relationships of elderly people. The research method used was a literature review involving relevant quantitative and qualitative studies from 2023 to 2024. Data was analyzed from various scientific articles and related studies that discussed therapeutic communication and its impact on the elderly in social institutions. The research results show that effective therapeutic communication plays an important role in improving the quality of life of elderly people in social institutions. The studies conducted revealed a positive relationship between therapeutic communication practices and reducing anxiety levels, improving quality of life, and strengthening social relationships in the elderly. These findings underscore the urgency for the development of practice guidelines and further research to improve the implementation of more effective therapeutic communication in social institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Emotional intelligence is an important aspect of a person's life. With emotional intelligence, one is able to manage and understand the feelings of oneself and others. Parenting is an early social interaction for children that is useful for introducing rules, norms and values that apply to society. This study aims to determine the relationship of parenting patterns to the emotional intelligence of pre-school children. Research using the literature review method was carried out using the PICO search in the Google Scholar database. There were 5 journals that met the criteria and showed the results of the relationship between parenting and emotional intelligence of pre-school children.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, gadgets play a large role in conveying information and social interaction. Children who often use gadgets often forget their surroundings. Children are more interested in playing using gadgets than playing together with friends in the surrounding environment. So what happens is that social interaction between children and the surrounding environment decreases. This research aims to determine the effect of intensity of gadget use on emotional development in pre-school children. The research used the Literature Review method, carried out using the PICO search in the Google Scholar database. There were 5 journals that met the criteria and showed the results of the influence of the intensity of gadget use on emotional development in pre-school children.

Abstract

Achievement is the most important part of athlete development. There are several factors that can influence the performance of football athletes, including training motivation. A study shows that the percentage importance of motivation is around 69% which has an influence on achievement (Oktafiranda & Ilham, 2022). Motivation itself is one of the key factors in an athlete's success in winning a match or becoming a champion. Motivation encourages athletes to provide psychological encouragement to achieve the best achievements and performance. The aim of the research is to find out how training motivation influences the performance of football athletes. This research method uses a literature review with PICO searches in several databases such as Google Scholar, Science Direct, and Pubmed. There were 5 journals that met the criteria and showed the results that motivation, both intrinsically originating from within and extrinsically due to stimulation from outside the individual, can influence achievement, so with a p-velue <0.05, it shows quite high achievement motivation in athletes who generates an athlete's efforts to master his task, achieve maximum success, and be able to overcome obstacles. It can be concluded that motivation greatly influences the increase in performance in football athletes.

Abstract

The influence of poor sleep quality will cause physical activity to be hampered. The National Institutes of Health recommends that to maintain a healthy condition, individuals should sleep 7-8 hours per day. Namn Hidayat (2013) explained that the need for sleep depends on the level of development and society, exercise for health and relaxation is useful for increasing body strength and bringing the body to optimal condition (Asmadi, 2008). Post-stroke patients also experience psychological disorders, this is due to the inability to carry out daily activities as usual to prevent emotional instability in patients and a decrease in quality of life after a stroke. Depression can also improve the functional, physical, psychological and social conditions of stroke patients who have begun to deteriorate, as well as the high recovery rate of stroke patients who do not experience depression. The aim of this study was to understand the relationship between quality of life, depression and stroke patients. The research used the Literature Review method, carried out using the PICO search in the Google Scholar database. There were 5 journals that met the criteria and showed results that there was a relationship between sleep quality and depression symptoms in stroke sufferers

Abstract

Social interaction in early childhood is an important aspect in their social-emotional development. Social interaction in early childhood influences their holistic development. Gadgets or technological devices such as smartphones and tablets have become an integral part of many people's daily lives in this modern era. However, excessive use of gadgets can affect an individual's social interactions. This research examines the influence of gadget use on early childhood social interactions. This research uses the PICO method in the Google Scholar database. There were 5 journals that met the criteria and showed the results of the influence of gadget use on the social interactions of early childhood.
