Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with the 3rd highest economic growth rate in the ASEAN region. Economic growth in Indonesia has experienced fluctuations from year to year 2014-2023, Indonesia has stated stable economic growth ranging between 4-6% per year. Stable economic growth in Indonesia has a significant impact on various aspects, including terrorism, investment and government spending. Terrorist attacks can cause major economic losses for a country. This decline was caused by uncertainty caused by the loss of investors. Terrorist attacks can impact government spending because governments must allocate additional resources for security, law enforcement, and post-attack recovery. This expenditure includes improving national security, increasing police and security forces, as well as assistance to victims and restoration of damaged infrastructure. TR, INV and PP together have a positive but insignificant effect on economic growth.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the workforce, both male and female workers, showing an insignificant negative impact on economic growth in Indonesia, which shows a reduction in poverty with an increase in poverty of 1%. The relationship between capital expenditure, labor force, and economic growth is analyzed, with the labor force variable showing an insignificant effect on economic growth. The R2 value of 0.524712 indicates that capital expenditure and labor force can explain 52% of the variance in economic growth in Indonesia. Autocorrelation testing using the Durbin Watson test is used to detect correlation between variables over time. Excess labor in certain sectors is seen as an opportunity, not a problem, because it contributes to increasing output and supports other sectors.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Regional Original Income (PAD), Special Allocation Funds (DAK), and General Allocation Funds (DAU) on the allocation of capital expenditure budgets on the island of Java. Capital expenditure is an important component in regional budgets that contributes directly to infrastructure development and improving public services. This study uses panel data from districts/cities on Java Island during the 2015-2020 period. The analytical method used is panel data regression with a fixed effects model (FEM) approach to identify the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. The research results show that PAD has a positive and significant influence on capital expenditure. This indicates that regions with higher PAD tend to allocate more budget for capital expenditure. Meanwhile, DAK also has a positive and significant effect on capital expenditure, which shows that funds specifically allocated by the central government have succeeded in increasing investment in fixed assets in the regions. On the other hand, DAU was found to have a negative but insignificant effect on capital expenditure, indicating that general funds received from the central government did not directly encourage an increase in capital expenditure. This research provides important implications for regional policy makers in increasing PAD and utilizing transfer funds from the central government more effectively to accelerate the development of infrastructure and public services. Apart from that, the results of this research can also be a reference for further research in the field of regional finance and public budget management.

Economic growth is an indicator of development success. Therefore, the higher the economic growth, the higher the welfare of the community. The success or failure of regional development depends on several indicators, including economic growth which reflects the growth of regional gross domestic product (GDP). In this research, we will examine the influence of the demographic bonus and Open Unemployment Rate on Economic Growth for the 2014-2023 Period. The data used in this research is secondary data, namely data obtained from a second source during the period 2014 to 2023. The type of data used in this research is time series data, namely time series data. Based on the research results, it shows that the independent variables influence Economic Growth (PE) in Lampung Province. Meanwhile, partially, the Demographic Bonus (BD) and Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) variables do not have a positive effect on Economic Growth (PE) in Lampung Province. BD and TPT together influence Economic Growth (PE) in Lampung Province in 2013-2022, using a confidence level of 95% or with an alpha (ɑ) of 0.05.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of exchange rates and inflation on Indonesia's economic growth in the 2014-2023 period. Economic growth data is measured using the Economic Growth Percentage (GDP), while the exchange rate is measured by the Value of USD 1 in Rupiah, and inflation is measured by the Inflation Percentage (General). In this research, the author uses statistical analysis methods to examine the relationship between exchange rates, inflation and economic growth. The data used comes from trusted sources, such as the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and Bank Indonesia (BI). The research results show that there is a relationship between the exchange rate and Indonesia's economic growth. A high exchange rate tends to have a negative impact on economic growth, because it can cause a decrease in net exports and a decrease in production levels. Apart from that, inflation also has an influence on economic growth. A high level of inflation can cause economic instability and have a negative impact on people's real income. Apart from that, this research also shows that both the exchange rate and inflation have a significant influence on Indonesia's economic growth. This second factor needs to be considered in efforts to advance the economy and achieve optimal economic stability. This research provides a better understanding of the factors that influence Indonesia's economic growth. It is hoped that the results of this research can be a reference for the government and economic actors in taking appropriate policies to accelerate economic growth and maintain economic stability.
