Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Morph PowerPoint in improving the learning outcomes of seventh grade students in Arts and Culture at SMP Negeri 3 Panca Rijang. This study used a true experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was 67 seventh grade students, while the research sample consisted of an experimental class (VII.1) and a control class (VII.3), each consisting of 23 students. The instrument used was a multiple-choice test given before and after the treatment. The results showed that the average pretest score of the experimental class was 50.43, which increased to 91.52, while the control class experienced an increase from 48.04 to 81.52. The N-Gain analysis showed that the experimental class had a score of 82.94% (effective) and the control class 63.33% (quite effective). Thus, it can be concluded that Morph PowerPoint is proven to be effective in improving students' learning outcomes in Arts and Culture.

Abstract

The prevalence of back pain in pregnant women in Indonesia is 68% with moderate intensity and 32% with mild intensity. Back pain due to pregnancy is a clinical syndrome characterized by pain or discomfort in the back of the body from the last rib to the buttocks or anus. Gym ball exercises in the form of sitting on a ball by shaking the pelvis are considered capable of providing comfort to the lower back through a gate control mechanism. This study aims to determine the effect of training using a gym ball on lower back pain in third trimester pregnant women. The quasi-experiment research method uses a one group pretest posttest without control approach. The research was conducted at the Belat Community Health Center, Karimun Regency from February – August 2024 on 31 pregnant women in the third trimester. Research results The average lower back pain before treatment was 5.29 and after treatment was 1.77. with a p-value of 0.001 (p<0.05) which means there is an effect of training using a gym ball on lower back pain in third trimester pregnant women. Abstract

This study aims to develop web-based animated videos using the Animaker platform as a learning medium for the Indonesian Language subject for grade XI at the UPT of SMA Negeri 10 Sidenreng Rappang. The approach used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). These stages include needs analysis, storyboard and flowchart design, video production, and validation by material and media experts. The trial was conducted in three stages, namely individual trials, small group trials, and field trials on students. The results of the study showed that the developed animated video media was declared valid by material and media experts, practical for use by teachers and students, and effective in improving student learning outcomes. This video is designed to be flexibly accessible through digital devices such as smartphones and laptops. By using Animaker-based animated video media, learning becomes more interesting, interactive, and able to increase students' motivation and understanding of Indonesian Language material.

Abstract

This study aims to create learning videos with the help of the Renderforest application on Social Sciences (IPS) subjects for class VII at UPT SMPN 5 Panca Rijang and to test the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the videos. The research method applied is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model which includes five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects included material and media expert validators, IPS teachers, and 35 class VII students. The validation results showed that the learning videos were very valid with scores of 87% (media experts) and 86% (material experts) respectively. The practicality test showed very practical results with an average percentage of 84%, while the effectiveness test through a comparison of pretest and posttest scores showed a significant increase with the N-Gain value in the effective category. Therefore, learning videos supported by Renderforest are suitable for use as learning tools to deepen students' understanding in IPS.
