Abstract

Upaya Membangun ketahanan pertanian memerlukan sumber daya manusia profesional yang memiliki bakat dan pengetahuan mumpuni, salah satunya adalah penyuluh. Kinerja penyuluh harus terarah pada pemecahan masalah yang dihadapai oleh petani dalam melaksanaka usahatani. Penyuluh pertanian juga berperan untuk menjalankan program dari pemerintah untuk mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat petani. Adanya penyuluh pertanian akan sangat membantu untuk membuka peluang petani desa dalam menggali dan mengembangkan potensi yang ada di desa, baik dari sumberdaya petani hingga produktivitas yang di hasilkan, sehingga akan membantu untuk mewujudkan kesejahteraan petani. Kinerja penyuluh pertanian dapat dilihat melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu persiapan penyuluhan, pelaksanaan penyuluhan, dan evaluasi dan laporan penyuluhan. Metode penelitian ini berbentuk deskriptif dengan sampel berjumlah 99 orang dan dianalisis menggunakan skor interval kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan petani di Kecamatan Mandor di dominasi oleh petani dengan umur 41-45 sejumlah 27 orang, berpendidikan Sekolah Dasar berjumlah 59 orang, dan pengalaman usahatani 6-10 tahun sejumlah 60 orang. Dari hasil penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa kinerja penyuluh di Kecamatan Mandor Kabupaten Landak berada di kategori sedang. Setiap aspek berada di kategori sedang dan diharapkan dapat ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Agro Jaya oil palm plantation cooperative in Lalang Village, Tayan Hilir District, Sanggau Regency in carrying out its duties and functions as a partnership forum between PT. Mega Sawindo Perkasa and farmers, namely playing a role in increasing the income and welfare of members through long-term credit from the bank. However, over time the Agro Jaya cooperative has several problems that hinder the performance of the cooperative due to the low performance of employees as indicated by the low discipline and transparency of cooperative employees towards information and services to members. The purpose of this study is to analyze the performance of Agro Jaya cooperative employees located in Lalang Village, Tayan Hilir District. The research method used is quantitative descriptive which is analyzed using the Method of Summated Rating (Likert Scale). The level of performance of Agro Jaya cooperative employees is in the moderate category, this indicates that the level of employee work discipline is still lacking, this can be seen from employees who do not implement the established SOPs, employees have not been able to provide satisfactory service to cooperative members and are not on time when coming to work.

Abstract

BUMDes is one of the business entities that can be an alternative for village communities in developing and utilizing existing potential by optimizing human resources in managing them. low competence and motivation are the background to problems related to lack of human resources and less than optimal performance. This research aims to analyze the influence of management competency and motivation on the performance of Niut Raya Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) management. The research was conducted in Pisak Village, Seventeen District, Bengkayang Regency with 10 respondents consisting of BUMDes administrators. This research uses population research which uses the entire population as a sample. The method used is quantitative descriptive. Data analysis techniques use validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, model feasibility testing and hypothesis testing using the SPSS 23.0 tool. The feature that will be used in this version is bootstrapping. The research results show that management competency does not influence the performance of BUMDes management. However, there are several suggestions that researchers put forward, namely creating clear guidelines on managing BUMDes finances and assets, implementing a financial information system that makes it easier to record, reporting and analyzing BUMDes finances, carrying out local potential analysis to identify all the resources available in the village and develop strategic plan to exploit local potential. Management motivation influences the performance of BUMDes management. The suggestions put forward are providing training, providing appropriate salaries, giving prizes to administrators who have good performance, creating a comfortable working atmosphere and good cooperation between administrators.

Abstract

Oil palm rejuvenation is the process of planting young seedlings in place of 20–25-year-old oil palm trees. Old oil palm trees are unproductive and lose productivity every month, which is why this is done. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the degree to which farmers freely decide whether to replant oil palm and the variables influencing these decisions. This study employs a quantitative methodology that includes documentation, questionnaire-based interviews, and observation. In the independent oil palm rejuvenation initiative, the degree of farmer decision-making and the factors influencing farmer decision-making are assessed using logistic regression analysis. As a result, the autonomous oil palm rejuvenation program's level of farmer decision-making is 1, meaning that farmers are carrying out the program. Regression analysis is then performed once everything is finished. In the oil palm rejuvenation initiative in Sekadau Regency, West Kalimantan, farmers' decision-making is heavily influenced by a number of factors, including their income, degree of education, and participation in extension activities. Age, the number of dependents, and land area are not very essential considerations.
