Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic religious education in the formation of sakinah families at Masjid Ahmad Dahlan and to determine the outcomes of its implementation on the development of congregational families. This research employed an empirical study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation, while the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis methods. The findings indicate that the development of sakinah families through Islamic religious education at Masjid Ahmad Dahlan includes the fulfillment of social, spiritual, and material needs. The guidance activities have created a harmonious social pattern that supports the formation of sakinah families. Furthermore, the results show an improvement in the spiritual aspects of the congregation, indicated by the fulfillment of both material and spiritual needs as characteristics of a sakinah family. Therefore, the implementation of Islamic religious education at Masjid Ahmad Dahlan contributes positively to the formation of sakinah families, although it has not yet reached the highest level of sakinah.

Abstract

Sekolah Dasar merupakan lembaga pendidikan untuk anak-anak sekaligus sebagai rumah kedua bagi mereka untuk mengembangkan potensi, belajar beradaptasi dengan dunia luar, mengenal berbagai macam karakter terutama belajar al-Qur’an. Metode yang dapat digunakan dalam menghafal al-Qur’an tersebut harus tepat karena ditemukan permasalahan terkait metode, untuk itu penelitian ini difokuskan pada metode talaaqi dalam peningkatan kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif, dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket yang akan dibagikan kepada siswa. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diungkapkan bahwa dari data kuisioner dan 10 responden siswa-siswi kelas 5 SD Muhammadiyah 1 GKB Gresik, motode talaqqi dapat meningkatkan kemammpuan membaca al-Qur’an. 70% siswa menyatakan setuju dan 30% siswa menyatakan sangat setuju terkait metode talaqqi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the application of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) method within a cooperative learning approach to Islamic Education (PAI) at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Giri. Conducted during the Odd/Even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, this classroom action research utilizes a descriptive qualitative paradigm. The subjects of the study are students from SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Giri. Data collection techniques include observation sheets, test results, and documentation, while data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that the STAD method effectively enhances student engagement and learning outcomes in Islamic Education by fostering collaboration and active participation among students. The study concludes that the cooperative learning approach, particularly the STAD method, significantly contributes to improving students' academic achievements and interest in Islamic Education
