Abstract

This research was conducted in February to April 2016 in the Laboratoryof Fish Hatchery and Breeding (PPI) Faculty of Fisheries and Marine SciencesUniversity of Riau. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect ovapriminjection of different doses of the ovulation and hatchery siban Fish. The methodused in this research is the method Experiment with direct observation of theobject being treated, by trying ovaprim different doses injected in siban fish _(Cyclocheilicthys Apogon). With completely randomized design (CRD) with afactor of four treatments and three replications. The treatments were P0 (0.9%sodium chloride injection of a dose of 0.2 ml / kg body weight of the mother), P1(ovaprim Injecting a dose of 0.3 ml / kg body weight of the mother), P2 (ovaprimInjecting a dose 0.5 ml / kg body weight of the mother), P3 (ovaprim Injecting adose of 0.7 ml / kg body weight of the mother). From the results of this study showed best treatment there in treatment P3with ovaprim dose of 0.7 ml / kg body weight, with an average latency time of7.07 hours, the number of eggs striping results as much as 365 grains / gramparent, the rate of conception by 77 , 16%, number of hatching at 77.75% and thenumber of survival by 77.98%. ABSTRACTThis research has been conducted in March - June 2020 at the Fish Breeding and Breeding Laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Riau University. This study aims to found out the best influence and dosage of Cow Testicular Flour Extract in the success of masculinization of Koi Kohaku fish larvae. While the expected benefits can provide information on the masculinization of Koi Kohaku fish larvae using Cow Testicular Flour Extract (CTFE) against the success of increasing the sex ratio of male fish. The method used in the study was the Complete RandomIzed Design (CRD) method with five levels of treatment with three repeats. The treatment consists of soaking Cow's Testicular Flour (CTF) with a dose of 0 mg/L of water, a dose of 60 mg/L of water, a dose of 80 mg/L of water, a dose of 100 mg/L of water and a dose of 120 mg/L of water. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the best dose of CTFE was obtained at P4 (TTS 120 mg/L) of 73.33% and life-size of 90%. The results of water quality measurement during the study were temperature of 27 - 28 oC, water pH of 6.2 - 7.4 and oxygen of 6.5 - 7.4 mg / L.    Keywords: Koi Kohaku Fish, Masculinization, Cow Testicles Flour

Abstract

Silk worms are one type of live food favored because it has nutrients that are good for the growth of fish larvae. This study aims to determine the effect of stocking density and feeding tofu to a different frequency on the growth of silk worms. This study was conducted in 26 March to 22 May 2016 located at Jln. Kamboja No. 38, Simpang Baru, Panam, Pekanbaru. The media used in the research is a mixture of mud, dung quail, pulp, bran, sand and EM4. The material used is silk worms obtained from collectors. This research was conducted by an experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial with 2 factors and 3 levels of treatment and repeated three times. The treatment in this treatment: P45F1: stoking density 45 g and Frequency 1x1 days, P45F2: stoking density 45 g and Frequency 1x2 days, P45F3: stoking density 45 g and Frequency 1x3 days, P55F1: stoking density 55 g and Frequency 1x1 days, P55F2 : Solid Tebar 55 g and Frequency 1x2 days, P55F3: Solid Tebar 55 g and Frequency 1x3 days, P65F1: stoking density 65 g and Frequency 1x1 days, P65F2: stoking density 65 g and Frequency 1x2 days, P65F3: stoking density 65 g and frequency 1x3 days. The data observed in the form of biomass growth, population, length growth and quality of water. The results of the study, indicating that the stocking density and feeding tofu with different frequenci es no significant effect (P> 0.05) on the growth of biomass, population and the growth of length silk worms. The highest growth of biomass was obtained in treatment P55F3 (stocking density 55g and Frequency 1x3 days) is 185.67 g / 0.098 m2. The highest the growth of length obtained in the treatment P45F1 (stocking density 45g and frequency of 1x1 days) is 1.47 cm and for growth of population is highest in treatment P55F2 (stocking density 55g and frequency of 1x2 days) is 41661.33 ind / 0.098 m2. Water quality during the research for the values of temperature, pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO) are still in a reasonable range. Based on the results of this study concluded that the stocking density and feeding different tofu can promote the growth of silk wormsKey words: Tubifex sp., stoking density, Frequency, feses of quail., Biomass, population, the growth of length

Abstract

ABSTRACT                This studywas conducted from May-August 2017 at the Laboratory of Hatchery and Fish Breeding, Marine and Fisheries Faculty University of Riau, Pekanbaru. The objective of this research was to evaluate the intergeneric hybridization between Common carp (Cyprinus carpio L) and Comet goldfish (Carassius auratus). Percentage of Fertilization, hatching, growth, survival in seven days (SR-7), survival rate in thirty days (SR-30),heterosis value, and to know the morphometric and meristic characteristics of hybridized seeds. The method was an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), one factor three times repetition. Spawning is induced breeding using ovaprim hormone with a dose of 0.5 ml/kg. The cross was done by fertilizing the Common carp eggs with Comet goldfish sperm and otherwise the comet fishgold egg is fertilized with Common carp sperm.            The results showed thathybridization was successfully. Heterosis of hybrid results positive to SR-7 parameter while the other parameters are negative. The hybrid ♀Cg × ♂Cc results have an advantage to FR, HR and SR values while the ♀Cc × ♂Cg hybrid results excel to absolute weight and length growth parameters. In general, hybrid seeds tend towards the common carp at a ratio of body width, head width, and head length to total length, while towards comet goldfish the character of height to total length compared. Keywords: intergeneric hybridization, growth, morphometric, common carp, comet goldfish

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted in March 2019 at the Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty Riau University. Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine the best photoperiod in increasing the growth rate and biomass production of Chlorella sp. with a photobioreactor system with LED lights (Light Emitting Diode). The method used in this research was experimental using Completely Random Design (CRD) one factor with four treatments and repeated three times. The treatments used was P1 (24 bright - 0 dark), P2 (20 bright - 04 dark), P3 (16 bright - 08 dark), P4 (12 bright - 12 dark). Cultivation was carried out for ten days, using Dahril Fertilizer Solution. The results showed that the treatment of the dark cycle and the light cycle affected the population density and specific growth rate. Lighting 16 hours Bright - 08 hours Dark gave the best results with a cell density of 643.33 x 104 cells / ml and a specific growth rate of 0.1966 / day with peak growth occurring on the day eight. Water quality parameters during the study were optimal for the growth of Chlorella sp.with a water temperature of 29-33 0C, pH 7-8.9 and dissolved oxygen 8-8.5 mg / l. Keywords: Photopriode, Photobioreactors, Chlorella sp.
