Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh padat tebar dan frekuensi pemberian pakan terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan larva ikan baung dengan sistem resirkulasi air. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari-Maret 2020 di Laboratorium Pembenihan dan Pemuliaan Ikan, Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan, Universitas Riau. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial dengan dua faktor yaitu: pertama faktor padat tebar dengan tiga taraf perlakuan masing-masing pada tebar 5 ekor/L (P5), 10 ekor/L (P10), dan 20 ekor/L (P20). Sedangkan faktor kedua adalah frekuensi pemberian pakan yaitu 3 kali/hari (F3) dan 5 kali/hari (F5). Untuk memperkecil kekeliruan tiap perlakuan dilakukan ulangan sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa padat tebar dan frekuensi pemberian pakan memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap kelulushidupan dan efisiensi pakan larva ikan baung, padat tebar tidak berpengaruh nyata dan frekuensi pakan berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan bobot mutlak, panjang mutlak dan laju pertumbuhan harian. Perlakuan P5F5 menghasilkan nilai kelulushidupan dan laju pertumbuhan harian tertinggi berturut-turut 68,89% dan 14,46%/ hari. Parameter kualitas air selama penelitian tergolong optimal yaitu suhu air 25,7-27,9oC pH 5,3-6,3 dan oksigen terlarut 5,4-9,7 mg/L.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober-November 2021 di Laboratorium Pembenihan dan Pemuliaan Ikan Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan, Universitas Riau.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi larutan NaCl yang terbaik terhadap keberhasilan fertilisasi, tingkat penetasan telur dan kelulushidupan larva ikan lele sangkuriang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), adapun perlakuannya adalah P1 (penambahan NaCl 0,3%), P2 (NaCl 0,5%), P3 (NaCl 0,7%), dan P4 (NaCl 0,9%). Penelitian yang telah dilakukan, penambahan larutan Nacl 0,3% (P1) merupakan hasil terbaik dibandingkan dengan perlakuan yang lainnya, dapat dilihat dari hasil yang diperoleh yaitu dengan tingkat keberhasilan Derajat Pembuahan (FR) 88,22%, Derajat Penetasan (HR) 97,39%, dan tingkat kelulushidupan (SR) 94,14%.

Abstract

This study was conducted at fish breeding and hatchery laboratory ofFisheries and Marine Science Faculty, University of Riau. Mature female ofselais fish used in the study were between 45-50 g body weight and male fishwere between 44-55 g body weight. Study method used in the study wasexperimental method,while data was analised by descriftive method. Theresultsof the study show that the highest percentage of fertilized eggs found on thetreatment of D0, 3W7 (fish injected with sGnRH + Domperidon 0,3 ml/kg andlaten time of 7 hours), and the highest percentage of eggs hatch was found on thetreatment of D0,5W8 and D0,7W6. However, treatment without injection withsGnRH + domperidon was no single fish was ovulated. Abstract

The research was conducted on April to June 2016 in Aquaculture Technology Laboratory, Nutrition, Parasite Laboratorory and Fish Disease of Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty of Riau. Its was aimed to  analyze the very good  vitamin C APM  increasing on feed of the body resistence resolve stress and growth catfish (Hemibagrus nemurus). The method used by experimental method, with completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and last three post treatments. The treatment of the research used doses of vitamin C APM (Magnesium L-Ascorbyl-2 Phosphate) that was without vitamin C APM, doses of vitamin C 500 mg/kg feed, doses of vitamin C 1.000 mg/kg feed, doses of vitamin C 1.500 mg/kg feed. Based on the research results on vitamin C APM  increasing showed that vitamin C  APM doses is 1.000 mg/kg feed gives the very good effect of the body resistence resolve stress of catfish (H. nemurus)

Abstract

The research was conducted in May to June 2016 in the Laboratory of Fish Hatchery and Breeding Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences University of Riau. The purpose of this research was to know The Effect of Differences feeding time of Natural Feed Artemia sp. and Water Flea on the Growth and Survival of Giant Gouramy Larvae (Osphronemus gouramy, Lac). This research used the experimental method, while the experimental design that was used completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments and three replication. The treatments in this research ware P1 (giving Artemia sp. for 10 days and 30 days for Water Flea), P2 (giving Artemia sp. for 20 days and 20 days for Water Flea), P3 (giving Artemia sp. for 30 days and 10 days for Water Flea), P4 (giving Artemia sp. for 40 days), P5 (giving Water Flea for 40 days).The result showed the best treatment was feeding with P5 (Giving Water Flea for 40 days) the growth of absolute weigh that produces 0,086 grams, the growth of absolute length is 0,831 cm, the daily growth rate of 4,332 %. The water quality parameters during research were temperature 26,4-27,8 ºC, pH 6,5-7,3 and dissolved oxygen 4,0-6,0 ppm.Key words: Natural food, Osphronemus gouramy, growth, and survival

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research was conducted on 24 November 2019-2 January 2020at Fish Breeding and Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau. Aims to determine the effect of the best type of feed (Tubifexsp., Water Fleas or Artificial Feed) best to replace initial feed (Artemiasp.) and best combination of feed on growth and survival rate of Sheat fish larvae. The researchusingCompletely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatment used P1= Artemia sp. (age 7-17 days) + Tubifex sp. (age 17-27 days)+Artificial Feed (age 27-37 days)+Water fleas (age 37-47 days), P2= Artemia sp. (age 7-17 days)+Artificial Feed (age 17-27 days)+Water fleas (age 27-37 days)+Tubifexsp.(age 37-47 days), P3= Artemia sp. (age 7-17 days)+Artificial Feed (age 17-27 days)+Tubifex sp. (age 27-37 days)+Water fleas (age 37-47 days), P4= Artemia sp. (age 7-17 days)+Tubifex sp. (age 17-27 days)+Water fleas (age 27-37 days)+Artificial feed (age 37-47 days), P5 = Artemia sp. From the results of research the best feed to substitusionArtemia sp. is Tubifexsp. produce weight growth 0.6340 g,length growth 4.1 cm,daily weight growth39,37%/day and survival rate 96,79%. In the combination treatment of feed did not have a real effect on absolute weight growth, daily weight growth and survival rate but has a real effect onabsolute length growth of8,1 cm on treatment P4 (Artemiasp.+Tubifexsp.+Water Fleas+Artificial Feed).Water quality during the research temperatures 26-270C, pH 5,2-6,5 and DO 3,6-4,67 ppm.Keywords: Artemiasp., Tubifexsp., Ompok rhadinurus Ng.

Abstract

ABSTRACT                          This research aimed to determine the effect of substitusion of Tubifex sp. with artificial food on growth and survival rate of Lele Mutiara larvae. This research was conducted from November 2018 - January 2019 at Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty of Riau University. The method used is an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications. The treatments were P1 (Tubifex sp. 40 days), P2 (Artificial Food 40 days), P3 (Tubifex sp. 30 days + Artificial Food 10 days), P4 (Tubifex sp. 20 days + Artificial Food 20 days), and P5 (Tubifex sp. 10 days + Artificial Food 30 days). The subjects used in this research were 4 day old Lele Mutiara larvae. The research process was conducted by raising Lele Mutiara larvae in an aquarium containing 15 liters of water with a stocking density of 2 fish/liter for 40 days. Frequency of feeding that conducted was four times a day as much as 50% of the weight of biomass. The result showed that P3 (Tubifex sp. 30 days + Artificial Food 10 days) was the highest growth (2,20 g, 6,27 cm, and 16,79%/day), the best feed efficiency was 58,23%, and the highest survival rate was 92,22%. Keywords :Lele Mutiara Larvae;Tubifex sp., Artificial Food,Survival Rate

Abstract

This research was conducted on April until June 2015, at Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory of Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty, University of Riau. The aim of the research was to determine the effect of ovaprim with different doses on sperm quality of signal barb (L. festivus, Heckel 1843) and for completion of this research then the best dosage obtained through observations on sperm quality will then be injected against gonads mature male brood and then spawned with the female injected with the best dose (0.7 ml/kg body weight). The results showed that ovaprim on doses 0.7 ml/kg body weight gives the best results for the cement volume (0,013 ml/g), concentration (878 x 107), motility (79,46%), viability (84,07 %). results for spawning resulted in average: fertility rate (40,39 %), hatching rate (14,85 %), and survival rate within 5 days (38,07 %). Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research was to determine the effect ofRecombinant Growth Hormone (rGH) Doses and  immersion duration on Growth Rate and Survival of giant gouramy Larvae (Osphronemus gouramy).The research was conducted from December 2019 to February 2020 at the Fish Hatcheryand Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Riau University. The method used was aComplete Randomized Design (RAL) with 2 factors. The first factor was the dose of rGH with 3 levels;0 mg/l (D0), 2 mg/l (D1), and 3 mg/l (D2). While the second factor was the immersion durationwith three levels of 45 minutes (P1), 60 minutes (P2) and 75 minutes (P3) respectively. TheLarvae were culturedin aquariumfilled with 15 litersof ground waterfor 40 days. The results showed that the use of different doses and  immersion duration of rGH effected  on absolute weight, absolute length, specific growth rate and survival of giant gouramy  larvae. Treatment dose 3 mg /l and 60 minutes (D2P2) with the result of absolute weight growth of 1.20 grams, absolute length 3.48 cm, specific growth rate of 14.61 % and for sincerity with a value of 100.00%. The water quality parameters during the study were optimal for gourami larvae namely water temperature 27.8-28.9 0C, pH 5.9-6.9 and dissolved oxygen 3.5-6.8 mg/l.Keywords : Different Doses, Immersion Duration,rGH, Gouramy fish Larvae,Growth and Survival rate

Abstract

ABSTRACT           The research was conducted from August to October 2019 in the Laboratory of Fish Hatchery and Breeding (PPI), Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, University of Riau. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of hCG combination with ovaprim to ovulation and egg hatchability Mali fish (Labeobarbus festivus, Heckel 1843) and to know of hCG with ovaprim best treatment to stimulate ovulation and hatching rate eggs ofSignal Barb(Labeobarbus festivus, Heckel 1843). This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments where each treatment was made in three replications. Dose of hormones used are treatment 1: hCG 0 IU / kg + ovaprim 0,5ml / kg of body weight (control), treatment 2: hCG 350 IU / kg + ovaprim 0,5ml / kg of body weight, treatment 3: hCG 450 IU / kg + ovaprim 0,5ml / kg of body weight, treatment 4: hCG 550 IU / kg + ovaprim 0,5ml / kg of body weight. The results showed that the best treatment was found in P4 (hCG 550 IU / kg + Ovaprim 0.5 ml / kg)produce latency time for 5 hours 18 minutes, the number of eggs stripping as many as 299 eggs / grbroodstock, egg diameter of 0.926 mm, egg maturity of 88.8%, ovisomatic index value of 15.73%, fertilization rate 76.93%,hatching rate 80.23%, and survival rate (SR5) amounted to 80.25%.Results of water quality measurements during the study is 27-31oC temperature and pH 5-7.Keywords:  Signal barb, hCG, ovaprim, latency time, diameter eggs, egg maturity,    fertilization rate, hatching rate, survival rate
