Abstract

This article discusses the claims handling process at PT Asuransi General Bumiputera 1967 Medan branch. The aim of this research was to analyze the process of handling claims for general insurance products at PT Asuransi General Bumiputera 1967 Medan Branch. The research method used is a descriptive approach with qualitative methods. Data collected through in-depth interviews with staff employees and field practitioners was carried out to gain a better understanding of the claims handling process, and direct observation allowed researchers to see the procedures carried out. The research results show that the process of handling general insurance product claims at PT Asuransi General Bumiputera 1967 Medan Branch includes several stages, namely claim acceptance, document verification, claim investigation, claim assessment, and claim payment. This process involves various parties, including claims officers, claims experts and customers. In conclusion, the existing systems and procedures at PT Asuransi General Bumiputera 1967 Medan branch have provided satisfactory results in the process of handling general insurance claims, but need to continue to be improved in accordance with technological developments and customer needs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and attitude on the decision to use PayLater in North Sumatra, with willingness to use as an intervening variable. Data was obtained from 100 respondents thru a survey and analyzed using path analysis with SPSS 25 based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework. The research results show that perceived usefulness and ease of use do not significantly affect the intention to use, while attitude has a significant positive effect. In the usage decision model, perceived usefulness has no significant effect, perceived ease of use has a significant negative effect, and attitude and intention to use have a significant positive effect. Mediation analysis shows that intention to use does not mediate the influence of perceived usefulness and ease of use, but partially mediates the influence of attitude on usage decision. This finding confirms that a positive attitude toward PayLater strengthens the intention and actual decision to use it, and reinforces the TAM concept, which emphasizes the importance of affective and behavioral intention factors over cognitive factors.

Abstract

This study examines the development and implementation of multimedia-based hadith research in the context of contemporary Islamic studies. The advancement of digital technology has transformed traditional hadith studies, which were previously text-centered, into a more integrative approach involving audio, visual, and interactive media. This research aims to analyze how multimedia tools contribute to the preservation, interpretation, and dissemination of hadith knowledge while maintaining methodological rigor in sanad and matn analysis. Using a qualitative descriptive method through literature review and content analysis, this study explores various multimedia platforms such as digital hadith databases, visual narration, and interactive learning media. The findings indicate that multimedia-based hadith research enhances accessibility, learning engagement, and public understanding, especially among younger generations, without diminishing the authenticity principles of hadith scholarship. Therefore, multimedia integration represents a strategic innovation for strengthening Islamic knowledge transmission in the digital era. Keywords: hadith studies, multimedia research, digital islamic studies, religious communication Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji perkembangan dan penerapan riset hadis berbasis multimedia dalam konteks studi Islam kontemporer. Kemajuan teknologi digital telah menggeser kajian hadis yang sebelumnya berfokus pada teks menjadi pendekatan yang lebih integratif melalui pemanfaatan media audio, visual, dan interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi multimedia dalam pelestarian, pemahaman, dan penyebaran ilmu hadis tanpa mengabaikan ketelitian metodologis dalam kajian sanad dan matan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui studi pustaka dan analisis konten terhadap berbagai platform multimedia, seperti basis data hadis digital, visualisasi narasi hadis, dan media pembelajaran interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa riset hadis berbasis multimedia mampu meningkatkan aksesibilitas, keterlibatan pembelajaran, serta pemahaman masyarakat, khususnya generasi muda, dengan tetap menjaga prinsip autentisitas keilmuan hadis. Dengan demikian, integrasi multimedia menjadi inovasi strategis dalam penguatan transmisi pengetahuan Islam di era digital. Abstract

 Perkembangan media digital telah menggeser pola penyebaran hadis dari tradisi kitab ke media sosial, yang menimbulkan isu krusial seperti maraknya konten hadis tanpa sanad, potensi penyebaran hadis palsu (maudhu'), dan komodifikasi agama untuk kepentingan komersial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan hadis sebagai konten digital pada platform Instagram dan TikTok serta dampaknya terhadap validitas dan pemahaman keagamaan masyarakat. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif-analitis, data dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur (kajian pustaka) dan dokumentasi konten dari akun-akun dakwah terpilih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial berperan ganda: memfasilitasi akses dakwah yang luas dan kreatif, namun di sisi lain banyak konten hadis yang tidak memenuhi standar ilmiah seperti ketiadaan sanad, sumber rujukan, dan penjelasan kontekstual, sehingga berisiko menyebabkan kesalahpahaman dan reduksi otoritas hadis sebagai sumber hukum Islam. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi urgensi literasi digital keagamaan dan penerapan prinsip verifikasi (takhrij) dalam produksi dan konsumsi konten keagamaan di ruang digital.

Abstract

This study focuses on the effectiveness and capacity of Zakat, Infak, and Shadaqah (ZIS) fund distribution by Dompet Dhuafa Waspada and the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method. The data sources for this study were primary and secondary data, as well as literature studies. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis technique used data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing methods. The effectiveness of ZIS fund distribution was measured using the Allocation to Collection Ratio (ACR) ratio based on the Zakat Core Principle (ZCP). The results show that Dompet Dhuafa Waspada has a very effective performance, with an average ACR reaching 90% in the last five years. In 2019, the ACR value was recorded at 87% in the effective category, in 2020, the ACR dropped to 71% in the effective category, then the ACR recovered to 74% in the effective category in 2021. At its peak, in 2022 and 2023, the ACR jumped to 106%. This shows a very good capacity in the management and distribution of ZIS funds that are right on target. The implementation of Good Corporate Governance is carried out through the principles of accountability, transparency, responsibility, independence, and equality, all of which increase public trust and the credibility of the institution. This study is expected to encourage more people to channel social funds through Dompet Dhuafa Waspada.
