Abstract

Tradisi Larung Sesaji di Telaga Sarangan merupakan salah satu bentuk kearifan lokal yang mengandung nilai ekologis, sosial, spiritual, dan ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran tradisi tersebut dalam mendukung implementasi Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (Sustainable Development Goals/SDGs), khususnya pada tujuan nomor 11 (kota dan komunitas berkelanjutan), 13 (penanganan perubahan iklim), dan 15 (kehidupan di darat). Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan studi literatur, ditemukan bahwa Larung Sesaji tidak hanya menjadi sarana pelestarian lingkungan, tetapi juga memperkuat kohesi sosial, membangun kesadaran ekologis berbasis spiritualitas, serta memberikan dampak ekonomi melalui pariwisata budaya. Namun, modernisasi dan komersialisasi pariwisata menjadi tantangan serius yang dapat mengikis nilai-nilai luhur tradisi ini. Oleh karena itu, integrasi kearifan lokal dalam kebijakan pembangunan, pendidikan budaya, dan pengelolaan pariwisata berkelanjutan menjadi langkah strategis dalam menjaga keberlangsungan tradisi sekaligus mendukung agenda pembangunan global yang inklusif dan kontekstual.

Abstract

Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) merupakan minyak nabati yang diekstrak dari endosperma kelapa segar dan matang tanpa penyulingan kimia atau panas tinggi. VCO dapat diproduksi dengan beberapa metode, salah satunya adalah metode enzimatik nanas. Hasil produksi VCO enzimatik nanas memiliki keunggulan dibandingkan metode lainnya. Nanas merupakan tanaman yang relatif mudah dibudidayakan di Indonesia, namun pemanfaatan nanas masih belum maksimal, biasanya hanya sebagai olahan makanan atau minuman yang dapat dikonsumsi langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara produksi VCO menggunakan metode enzimatik dari buah nanas dan parameter fisik VCO yang dihasilkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode campuran. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan minyak sebanyak 40 ml dengan kejernihan bening, aroma sedikit menyengat khas kelapa, dan memiliki rasa khas minyak kelapa.

Abstract

Pedagogical competence is very necessary to improve the learning process. Pedagogical competency is a competency that prospective science teachers must have. This relates to the duties of teachers who are not only teachers, but also as educators and mentors of students. Prospective teachers need to have both academic and non-academic competencies. This research aims to analyze the pedagogical competence of prospective teachers in terms of their ability to prepare learning plans. The method used by researchers in this research is a project with a quantitative approach. The research results show that prospective science teacher students are able to design learning by implementing innovative learning models, utilizing relevant technology, with the hope of making it easier for students to understand the learning material

Abstract

Motivation and learning outcomes are two interrelated aspects. A high level of learning motivation will result in commitment and resilience in learning, thereby leading students to improve their learning outcomes. This research aimed to describe the improvement of learning outcomes and student motivation after application experimental methods in science learning on the topic of dynamic electricity. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research design consisting of two cycles with instruments in the form of formative test sheets and questionnaires where there are 30 students as research subjects. Based on the results of the formative test in cycle I, an average score of 85.4 was obtained and increased to 88.7 in cycle II. The classical learning completion in cycle I was 53.3% and increased to 86.7% in cycle II. According to the questionnaire’s results, it is known that 100% of respondents thought that using experimental methods to teach science was very interesting and enjoyable. In addition, 83.3% of respondents stated that experimental methods can increase their motivation to learn on dynamic electrical materials. Consequently, it might be concluded that the application of experimental methods is significantly able to improve student learning outcomes and motivation.

Abstract

Caisim (Brassica juncea L.) is a widely consumed leafy vegetable that requires adequate nutrients for optimal growth. This study aimed to investigate the effect of rabbit manure on the growth of caisim plants, specifically focusing on fresh weight, dry weight, and root length. The experiment was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with five treatments and five replications. Treatments consisted of different soil-to-rabbit manure ratios: P0 (control, no manure), P1 (1:1), P2 (2:1), P3 (3:1), and P4 (4:1). The results showed that the application of rabbit manure significantly affected all three observed growth parameters. The best results were obtained in the P2 treatment (2:1 ratio), which yielded an average fresh weight of 21.902 g, a dry weight of 1.17 g, and a root length of 5.58 cm. These findings suggest that rabbit manure supplies essential nutrients, including nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, which contribute to enhanced root development and overall plant growth. The 2:1 ratio was found to offer the most effective nutrient balance for caisim cultivation. The implication of this study is that rabbit manure can serve as an environmentally friendly and effective organic fertilizer alternative to chemical fertilizers, supporting sustainable agricultural practices and offering a practical solution for enhancing the productivity of horticultural crops.

Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan inkuiri memfasilitasi mahasiswa aktif dalam menganalisis dan menemukan informasi secara teratur seperti pada inkuiri terbimbing. Hal ini dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam menguasai konsep-konsep yang berguna dalam memecahkan suatu masalah, terutama pada indikator analisis dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode pretest dan posttest sebanyak 40 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan rubrik Bartels dan metode Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan jumlah mahasiswa yang menguasai konsep analisis dan evaluasi sehingga inkuiri terbimbing efektif membantu mahasiswa menguasai konsep termodinamika.

Abstract

Pear Deck is one of the tools for presenting web-based online slides. This research was implemented on 26 preservice science teachers who have heterogeneous thinking skills. This research examined the improvement of preservice science teachers’ learning outcomes through interactive online learning using Pear Deck after the pandemic era. The instruments used were written tests that were given twice before and after learning. This research was a pre-experimental design including pre-test and post-test design. Data earned was then analysed using an N-gain score and paired t-test but normality and homogeneity test was conducted before it. Data is said to be normally distributed if the Lcount < Ltab, and is said to be homogeneous if the Fcount < Ftab. There was a significant difference between learning outcomes before and after treatment if tcount < ttab. with α = 0,05. Learning with Pear Deck increases the average preservice science teacher’s score. the data were normally distributed, and then a homogeneity test was conducted with the result Fcount = 1,204 and Ftable = 1,955. Which means that Fcount < Ftable. The data were stated as homogenous. Pear Deck has a significant effect on the improvement of preservice science teacher’s learning outcomes. This is proven by the majority of students having high N-gain scores through their improvement on their test before (pretest) and after (posttest) learning. 77,78% of preservice science teacher also belonged to moderate-high increases in their scores. Results of the T-test concluded that tcount=23,10>ttable=2,06 means that H0 was rejected. So, the use of Pear Deck in distance learning had a significant effect on improving preservice science teacher’s learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan di salah satu SMP di Sidoarjo memperoleh hasil keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik rendah. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah penerapan model problem based learning berbasis literasi sains. Model pembelajaran ini mendorong peserta didik untuk aktif berpikir kritis, dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dalam memecahkan masalah. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik yang diukur menggunakan soal pretest dan posttest. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-experimental, teknik one group pretest-posttest desain, dan subjek penelitian peserta didik SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Taman kelas VII E. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini melalui perhitungan uji normalitas, uji t-berpasangan dan analisis N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa uji normalitas pretest memperoleh nilai signifikansi 0.075, dan nilai posttest memiliki nilai signifikansi 0.083. Uji t-berpasangan memperoleh nilai <0.001 dan perolehan N-gain keterampilan berpikir kritis sebesar 0.51 kategori sedang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model PBL berbasis literasi sains dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan di salah satu SMP di Surabaya memperoleh hasil respon positif dari siswa. pembelajaran yang dilakukan yaitu menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi Bumi dan Tata Surya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap penerapan model inkuiri terbimbing pada materi Bumi dan Tata Surya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre-experimental dengan one group pretest-posttest. Subjek yang digunakan yaitu siswa SMP Negeri 54 Surabaya kelas VII A. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes dan angket dengan instrumen berupa lembar observasi, tes tertulis dan angket respons. Hasil menunjukan bahwa respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi Bumi dan Tata Surya memperoleh respon positif dengan persentase rata-rata 89% tergolong pada kategori sangat setuju.

Abstract

Pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam (IPA) atau sains menuntut siswa untuk melek sains atau literasi sains di abad 21. Rendahnya literasi sains akan mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kreatif, logis, kritis, yang mencakup di berbagai aspek kehidupan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbasis SSI terhadap kemampuan literasi sains di SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Taman Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Pre Experimental Design, dengan rancangan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS dengan hasil uji t menujukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) kurang dari 0,01 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbasis SSI terhadap kemampuan Literasi Sains. Besar pengaruh diukur menggunakan Effect Size. Hasil Effect Size sebesar 2.96 dengan kategori sangat besar. Hal ini menunjukkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbasis SSI berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa
