People living with HIV and AIDS (PLWHA) are a vulnerable population with psychosocial problems, including changes in status in society and stigma. PLWHA is prone to mental health disorders, including stress and depression, therefore a positive coping mechanism with resilience is needed. This study aims to identify the relationship between sex and marital status with resilience in PLWHA. This research was conducted in Bogor City using a cross-sectional design. The population is PLWHA in Bogor City. Samples were taken randomly from 98 PLWHA. Data were collected using an online questionnaire and analyzed bivariately with the Chi-square test. The results showed that 48% of PLWHA had negative resilience. Negative resilience is shown on the points of ability to cope with stress (36%), belief in finding love (39%), and belief in having children (38%). Meanwhile, high positive resilience is shown in the ability to respect others (79.5%) and believe in their own religion (74.4%). There is a significant relationship between gender (p-value, 0.005; OR=5.5) and marital status (p-value, 0.018; OR=2.9) with resilience in PLWHA. PLWHA who are female and married has a positive chance of resilience compared to male and unmarried sex. Psychosocial assistance activities are needed to increase resilience in PLWHA, especially for PLWHA who are not married and female.

The sampling technique used non-probability sampling, data analysis used the Chi-Square test (α=0.05). Variables related to the incidence of early menarche are lifestyle (P-value=0.004, OR=9.008), BMI status (P-value=0.007, OR=8.042), variables not related to early menarche, namely: level of religious knowledge related to menarche (P-value=1.000, OR=0.000). Abstract

Coverage of under-five weighing in Indonesia has decreased from 80.8% in 2014 to 73.0% in 2015 (Ministry of Health RI, 2015). The target indicator for the percentage of districts/cities implementing active posyandu coaching in 2020 is 51%, but the results obtained by data as of January 23, 2021, are only 6%. When compared to the 2020 target, the percentage of districts/cities implementing active Posyandu training is 11.76%. This illustrates that there is still a difference of 88.24% from the indicator target that has not been met in 2021. The number of urban districts that have met the indicator criteria is 32 urban districts. This study uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional research design, in which all variables, both dependent and independent, will be examined at one time and simultaneously to see whether there is a relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variables from factors related to the behavior of visiting mothers under five to the posyandu in RW 04 Cempaka Putih Village, South Tangerang City. The results obtained from this study were that there were 4 variable relationships with maternal behavioral visits to posyandu from the 8 variables studied. The education variable with a p-value of 0.007 states that there is no relationship, but has an OR value of 8.360 (1.971-35.461) which states that there is a relationship in substance. The knowledge variable has a relationship with a p value of 0.000. The family support variable also has a relationship with a p value of 0.000 and the last is the variable support for health workers which states that there is a relationship with the behavior of mothers visiting the posyandu with a p value of 0.002.

Abstract

Compared to a few decades ago, puberty now happens earlier, and the frequency of sexual assault is rising wildly. The purpose of this study is to examine how puberty education affects high-grade elementary school students' awareness of sexual assault prevention. With a facilitator in each class, the research design employs a quasi-experimental format of concurrent lectures and conversations lasting 60 minutes. 22 fourth-graders, 31 fifth-graders, and 31 sixth-graders make up the participants. Ten true-false questions from a pre-and post-test were used to gauge knowledge. The T-test was utilized in data analysis. The understanding of high school students significantly increased (P value 0.0001). All class discussions showed an exceptionally lively exchange of thoughts, and several students were particularly aggressive and engaged in raising issues of psychological (the recognition and control of emotions) and social (interpersonal connections and communication) interest. Continuous education is important, along with teaching strategies that are not the same as pedagogy or andragogy but rather suitable for the typical characteristics of adolescents.

Abstract

Introduction: The age of menarche varies from the age range of 10-16 years and is said to be normal if it occurs at the age of 12-14 years. Nationally, the average menarche aged 13-14 years occurs in 37.5% of girls in Indonesia, with the prevalence of early menarche reaching 20.9%. Statistical results in Indonesia show that the age of menarche has decreased from an average age of 14 years to 12-13 years. Objective: This research aims to see what factors are associated with adolescent girls’ early menarche. Method: This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional study design. The research design in this study is analytical observational. The sample in this study was 56 respondents. Result: There is no statistically significant relationship but there is a substantial relationship between the frequency of consumption of junk food with age of menarche (p-value=1.000 and OR=1.104), physical activity with age of menarche (p-value=0.759 and OR=1.609), sleep rest with adolescent girls’ early menarche (p-value=0.958 and OR=1.224), and mothers’ menarche age with adolescent girls’ early menarche (p-value=0.867 and OR=1.389). Conclusion: There is no statistically significant relationship but there is a substantial relationship between the frequency of consumption of junk food, physical activity, sleep rest, and mothers’ menarche age with adolescent girls’ early menarche. Adolescent girls are expected to maintain good consumption patterns and avoid excessive consumption of junk food, carry out regular and not too-heavy physical activity, and have adequate sleep rest time at night so that they can avoid early menarche and the risk of various diseases in the future.

Abstract

The most prevalent symptom of pruritus vulvae is the presence of itching in the female genital area, as evidenced by the fact that 5.2 million teenage girls in 17 Indonesian provinces frequently have problems that follow menstruation and are brought on by poor hygiene. The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between the prevalence of vulva pruritus and vulva cleanliness behavior and knowledge. The study, which was carried out at SMK Purnama 1 South Jakarta, used a cross-sectional study design and a quantitative, analytical technique. A basic random sampling procedure was used to calculate the sample size, which came out to be 77 pupils. The chi-square test with α = 0.05 is used for data analysis. The findings revealed that up to 84.4% of those surveyed had pruritus vulvae. Furthermore, there was a correlation between the occurrence of vulva pruritus and knowledge (p-value = 0.007) as well as vulva cleanliness behavior (p-value = 0.003). The prevalence of vulva pruritus was significantly correlated with vulva cleanliness practice and knowledge. Additional resources, health professional advice, and consultations on reproductive health particularly vulva hygiene are required to prevent vulva pruritus in students.

Abstract

The symptoms of a condition called dysmenorrhea include severe, painful cramps and lower abdominal cramping sensations. Primary dysmenorrhea is 72.89% common in Indonesia, but dysmenorrhea prevalence varies from 45% to 95% in women of reproductive age. It has been determined through research at SMAN 1 Tambun Utara that dysmenorrhea affects up to 65% of students with abnormal nutritional status and 39.3% of students with normal nutritional status. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how the occurrence of primary dysmenorrhea in SMAN 1 Tambun Utara students is related to their nutritional status and level of physical activity. A cross-sectional study design and quantitative analysis techniques were used in the investigation. 95 students made up the sample, which was chosen using the stratified random sampling technique. Two phases of data analysis—univariate and bivariate analysis—were used. The kai squared test with α = 0.05 was used to examine the data. The findings demonstrated a correlation between the occurrence of primary dysmenorrhea and both physical activity (p-value = 0.000) and nutritional status (p-value = 0.000). The findings of this study suggest a relationship between the occurrence of primary dysmenorrhea and physical activity and nutritional status. A balanced and nutritious diet, regular weight checks, regular exercise, and abstaining from unhealthy behaviors that can lead to primary dysmenorrhea are all healthy lifestyle choices that students aspire to.
