Abstract

Education is experiencing rapid development in the increasingly advanced digital era. Artificial intelligence can create a more personalized and adaptive learning system, help teachers create more effective learning content, and help students understand lecture material. Apart from that, artificial intelligence also helps in the educational administration and management process. The use of AI has a positive impact on increasing students' intellectual intelligence in completing coursework. Students can utilize artificial intelligence to get more effective assistance in understanding and carrying out academic assignments. This investigation seeks to ascertain how the application of artificial intelligence affects the intellectual intelligence of PAI students at Zainul Hasan Genggong Islamic University in Probolinggo. Using a population of 87 students from the 2020 Islamic Religious Education Study Program (PAI), this research used associative quantitative methodology. Because the population is less than 100, this research uses a census sampling method, namely all students are sampled. A questionnaire was used to collect data, and SPSS 25 edition programming was used to carry out normality tests and simple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that for the 2020 class of PAI Zainul Hasan Genggong Islamic University Probolinggo students, the application of AI had an influence on intellectual intelligence by 57.1%, and the remaining 42.9% was influenced by other factors. Therefore, the use of artificial intelligence has a significant influence on the intellectual intelligence of PAI students at Zainul Hasan Genggong Islamic University, Probolinggo.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Adiwiyata Mandiri Program in shaping a sustainable school culture at a public vocational school in Malang City, Indonesia. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Adiwiyata Mandiri Program has been carried out comprehensively through three key dimensions: (1) systematic environmental management supported by functional facilities such as composting areas, waste-sorting stations, and school gardens; (2) integration of environmental education into the curriculum and student activities, including compost projects, waste banks, tree planting, and routine programs such as Clean Friday and waste-donation initiatives; and (3) development of a sustainable school culture fostered by active participation of teachers, students, administrative staff, and external partnerships with environmental agencies and community institutions. Supporting factors include structured task allocation within the Adiwiyata team, strong commitment from school members, and robust collaborative networks, while challenges are related to limited land capacity and maintaining long-term program consistency. Overall, the study concludes that the Adiwiyata Mandiri Program goes beyond administrative compliance and functions as an effective environmental management model that cultivates ecological values and fosters a sustainable school culture.

Abstract

In various educational worlds, of course, we learn foreign languages, one of which is English. English is challenging and can cause anxiety, one of which is in writing. English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners often face many challenges when it comes to developing their writing skills. The recent research aims to discuss EFL students’ anxiety in writing descriptive text. This study used narrative inquiry. A narrative inquiry explore the experiences and feelings of an EFL students’ writing anxiety. The research participants are two students. These two students were taken from 1 Senior high school student and one was taken from Junior high school. Data collection uses semi-structured interview with 45 minutes. The interviews were held at a private Islamic boarding school in Probolinggo East Java. Data Analysis uses thematic Analysis. The results of this study reveal that students' writing anxiety level is still relatively high, therefore, teacher motivation and guidance to students must be increased so that students can deal with or evaluate writing anxiety experienced by students. Finally, in learning English as a second language (ESL), it is important for students to have adequate vocabulary knowledge so that they are not confused and anxious to write English texts.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the position of substitute heirs from the perspective of Islamic law and civil law in Indonesia. In inheritance practices, situations often occur where direct heirs have died before the testator, so that problems arise regarding who inherits the inheritance. Islamic law recognizes the concept of hijab and the division of inheritance strictly based on lineage, but does not explicitly regulate substitute heirs. On the contrary, the Civil Code (KUHPerdata) and the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) provide space for grandchildren as substitute heirs, especially if their parents who should be heirs have died first. Through a normative-comparative approach, this study reveals that there are differences in principle between classical Islamic law and positive law in Indonesia regarding the existence of substitute heirs. KHI as a codification of Islamic law in Indonesia tries to accommodate the principle of social justice by adopting the concept of substitute heirs, although it is not entirely in accordance with classical fiqh. This study recommends the need for harmonization between Islamic legal norms and the provisions of national laws and regulations in order to ensure legal certainty and justice in the distribution of inheritance.Keywords: Substitute heir, Islamic law, civil law, KHI, inheritanceAbstrak: Penelitian ini membahas kedudukan ahli waris pengganti dalam perspektif hukum Islam dan hukum perdata di Indonesia. Dalam praktik pewarisan, sering kali terjadi situasi di mana ahli waris langsung telah meninggal dunia terlebih dahulu dari pewaris, sehingga muncul permasalahan mengenai siapa yang mewarisi harta peninggalan. Hukum Islam mengenal konsep hijab dan pembagian warisan secara tegas berdasarkan garis nasab, namun tidak secara eksplisit mengatur ahli waris penggantinya. Sebaliknya, Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Perdata (KUHPerdata) dan Kompilasi Hukum Islam (KHI) memberikan ruang bagi cucu sebagai ahli waris pengganti, terutama jika orang tua mereka yang seharusnya menjadi ahli waris telah meninggal dunia lebih dahulu. Melalui pendekatan normatif-komparatif, penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa terdapat perbedaan prinsip antara hukum Islam klasik dengan hukum positif di Indonesia terkait keberadaan ahli waris pengganti. KHI sebagai kodifikasi hukum Islam di Indonesia mencoba mengakomodasi prinsip keadilan sosial dengan mengadopsi konsep ahli waris pengganti, meskipun tidak sepenuhnya sesuai dengan fiqh klasik. Kajian ini merekomendasikan perlunya harmonisasi antara norma-norma hukum Islam dan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan nasional guna menjamin kepastian hukum dan keadilan dalam pembagian warisan.Kata kunci: Ahli waris pengganti, hukum Islam, hukum perdata, KHI, pewarisan
