Abstract

Abstract: The success of online learning is largely determined by independent learning. Independent learning is influenced by several factors, one of them is achievement motivation. The aim of the study was to determine the correlation between student achievement motivation and independent learning during online learning. The research sample was 165 students of Primary School Teacher Education of PGRI University of Yogyakarta. The data were collected by using survey technique, while the data analysis technique used was correlation technique with Product Moment. The result of the study shows that there was a positive and significant relationship between achievement motivation and independent learning with 0.702 as amount of correlation coefficient. Meanwhile, the test result of determination coefficient shows that achievement motivation became 0.490 or 49% as predictor of independent learning.Abstrak: Keberhasilan pembelajaran daring sangat ditentukan oleh kemandirian belajar. Kemandirian belajar dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya motivasi berprestasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya hubungan motivasi berprestasi dengan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa saat pembelajaran daring. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa PGSD Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta sebanyak 165 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan survei, sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik korelasi dengan Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kemandirian belajar dengan besar koefisien korelasi 0.702. Sementara itu, hasil uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan motivasi berprestasi menjadi prediktor kemandirian belajar sebesar 0.490 atau 49%.

Abstract

This research aims to present the results of the analysis of the significances for SETS-based science teaching materials (Science,Environment, Technology and Society) in online learning which includes (1) the results of significances analysis for SETS-based science teaching materials, (2) the benefits of SETS-based science teaching materials in online learning. This research was conducted at the PGRI Yogyakarta University using qualitative research methods. Data was collected through observation, unstructured interviews and documentation. The results showed that (1) SETS-based science teaching materials is needed by students at PGRI Yogyakarta University in the distance or online learning process in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic to facilitate the teaching and learning process, (2) the benefits of SETS-based science teaching materials in online learning are that with SETS-based teaching materials students can transform knowledge in the form of technology and develop students' social skills. With the use of SETS-based teaching materials, students are hopefully in ease to access teaching materials because there are no limitations between space and time. In addition, students can explore science knowledge by involving real life and the environment in which they live and can provide benefits to the community. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of using virtual laboratory-assisted E-modules in science learning for prospective elementary school teacher students during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method is an experiment with a quasi-experimental design. The subjects of this study were students of the PGSD study program FKIP UPY which consisted of two classes, namely class A5-20 as the experimental group and class A6-20 as the control group. The data collection instrument used a test question sheet consisting of pre-test and post-test question sheets. Data analysis technique using t-test and Normalized Gain (N-Gain). The results showed that there was a significant difference in science learning achievement between experimental group students and control group students as indicated by the value of t count = 2,799 > t table = 1,988 and (p) count = 0 < 0.05. Meanwhile, based on the results of the N-Gain test, it is known that the increase in science learning achievement in the experimental group obtained an N-Gain of 0.73 which is in the high category and in the control group an N-Gain of 0.52 is obtained which is in the medium category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of e-modules assisted by virtual laboratories is effectively used in science learning for prospective elementary school teacher students during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the mastery of the concept of research methodology in undergraduate students of elementary school teacher education, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta. This research method is a classroom action research which consists of two cycles where each cycle consists of four meetings. The subjects of this study were students of semester VI class A3-17 consisting of 40 students. This research was conducted in the even semester of 2019/2020 from February 2020 to March 2020. The results showed mastery of the concept of research methodology where> 80% of students mastered the concept of research methodology well. In addition,> 80% of students responded positively to learning and 36 out of 40 students received good and excellent scores in the assessment of research proposals as the final product of the research methodology course. Keywords: Critical Review, Scientific Articles, Research Methodology Concept

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu berpendekatan etnosains dimulai dengan mengembangkan silabus, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, bahan ajar, LKS, LDS dan alat evaluasi yang kemudian seluruh perangkat tersebut divalidasikan untuk selanjutnya direvisi dan diimplemantasikan. Selama uji coba, dilakukan pengamatan aktivitas siswa, pemberian angket keterterapan pembelajaran dan soal tes untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA terpadu berpendekatan etnosains terbukti efektif mampu memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu berpendekatan etnosains yang mampu meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to develop thematic learning based on local culture as an effort to instill the values of national and state character in inclusive reference primary schools. The novelty of this research lies in the basis of local culture in instilling character values that are implemented in inclusive reference schools. The research method is research and development. The products produced through this research are thematic learning tools based on local wisdom consisting of syllabus, lesson plans, teaching materials, media and evaluation tools. Data collection techniques in this study used observation sheets, questionnaires and test questions. The data analysis technique used   descriptive percentage, difference test (t-test) and improvement test (N-gain). The results of this study indicate the acquisition of a score of more than 4.3 with a maximum score of 5.0 which is in the high validity category. The average frequency of achieving character values in thematic learning based on local culture  is in the high category. Where all aspects of character values appear and are carried out by more than 80% of students in the class. Meanwhile, in the t-test of post-test results, the value of t count = 5.782 > t table = 1.998 and (p) count = 0 <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in the value of learning achievement between the experimental group using the product developed and the control group. The results of the N gain test showed that the control group had an increase in the medium criteria and the experimental group had an increase in the high criteria so that it was concluded that the thematic learning tools based on local culture had a good level of effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the vision SETS elementary science learning with discovery learning method. To know effectivity elementary science teaching tools in growing SETS visionary science process skills and instill values in themselves and to know the implementation learning devices in the classroom. This study is a research & development (R & D / Research and Development) is a software product developed science learning in Fifth Grade Elementary School envisions SETS with discovery learning method. Based on the results of analysis show the validity of the learning value is 4.12 on a valid category. Average student has good science process skills, the average percentage of the value of > 70 %, the effective development of learning tools for to build values in students. Average student learning outcomes in the category of either > 70, the development of learning outcomes appropriate to apply > 80 % of students gave positive responses. SETS visionary science learning by discovery learning methods to actively engage students in learning, can improve science process skills, instill values in students, and provide an average of student learning outcomes that achieve average scores > 70. Implementation LKS and LDS assist students in learning, apply science concepts and provide opportunities for students to apply as scientists so as to provide a more in-depth experience of the concept of science.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the competency achievement of prospective elementary school teacher students in micro teaching during the covid-19 pandemic. Competence in micro teaching is a fundamental competence that must be mastered by prospective elementary school teacher students. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively. The research subjects were students of class A6 and A7, totaling 80 students. This research was conducted from February-July 2021. The results showed that 36.50% of students achieved a score of > 71 and 45.75% of students achieved a score of > 81 which were in the high category. Meanwhile, 85.20% of students have carried out these aspects well and obtained a score of > 70. This shows that through online micro teaching that is well planned and packaged, it is still able to lead students to achieve the expected competencies. The achievement of this micro teaching competency is due to the selection of the right learning media and infrastructure. The media used has a good level of convenience and flexibility so that all students can apply it well and have a good impact on the achievement of micro teaching competencies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of online science learning assisted by a virtual laboratory on the scientific character of prospective elementary school teacher students. This scientific character is very much needed by prospective elementary school teachers to produce the next generation of the nation who master natural science and have good scientific character. This research method is an experiment with a quasi-experimental design type. The subjects of this study were students of classes A7 and A8, totaling 80 people. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique used percentage, t-test, and N-gain. The results showed that there was an increase in the average appearance of scientific characters from each meeting from the medium level (54.55) at the first meeting to high (74.96) at the sixth meeting. The results of the t-test on the post-test score obtained that the t value = 2.798 > t table = 1.998 means that there is a significant difference in learning achievement between students who take online science learning assisted by virtual laboratories and students who take regular online science lessons. Based on the N-Gain test, it is known that the experimental group has an improvement with moderate criteria (0.62) which is better than the control group with low improvement criteria (0.26).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of teaching practical learning in SD and PKN SD courses. This research was conducted from September 2020 to January 2021 in the PGSD Study Program FKIP Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta. This research method is descriptive, data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires and documentation and descriptive data analysis. The results of the study show that the online lecture process as a form of adaptation to the Covid 19 pandemic is running well, which can be seen in the student response questionnaire where> 80% responded positively. The competency indicators for the subjects were achieved well, which was evident from the acquisition of an average grade of the subject indicators> 70 (Good).
