Abstract

The classification of bird species is a problem often faced by ornithologists, and has been considered scientific research since antiquity. This study aims to evaluate the results of color feature extraction including HSV, LAB and YCrCb against the results of the SVM classification. In addition, the results of this study are useful to determine the performance of color feature extraction that is suitable for bird species classification. The dataset used was 22,617 bird species images. Based on experimental results, the effect of HSV on the SVM classification caused a decrease in accuracy by -0.33% while LAB and YCrCb on the SVM classification caused an increase in accuracy of 0.44% and 0.21%. However, the accuracy of the SVM classification does not yet have good performance so that further research will be carried out using other classifications, including convolutional neural networks and others.

Abstract

Segmentasi warna merupakan pemisahan segmen dalam suatu citra ber-dasarkan warna yang terkandung dalam citra. Dalam perkembangan sistem computer vision telah dilakukan berbagai macam metode untuk melakukan segmentasi warna seperti metode clustering dan metode indeks. Pada penelitian ini penulis akan mencoba untuk melakukan segmentasi warna dengan metode color blob. Ruang lingkup warna HSV terdiri dari 3 elemen yaitu Hue mewakili warna, Saturation mewakili tingkat dominasi warna, dan Value mewakili tingkat kecerahan. Dengan demikian metode ini cenderung mendeteksi warna dan tingkat dominasi serta kecerahannya. Dari hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Metode Color HSV dan Color blob mendapatkan hasil akurasi 66,7 %, dengan tingkat kesulitan pem-isahan warna pada objek dengan latar belakang objek yang hampir sama

Abstract

Theuse of data mining techniques presently help business owners to facilitate the promotion of their product marketing. One of the most techniques is well-known as association analysis. This association analysis aims to find the relationship between the goods purchased by customers. This kind of association analysis is commonly known as market basket analysis. Market basket analysis uses customer data that has been stored in the database to find new information in it. The apriori algorithm, is applied an algorithm for conducting market basket analysis, which aims to find the most frequently purchased items. This apriori algorithm produces an association rule that is useful for business actors. By analyzing the association a priori algorithm can be seen that customers’ data can be used as input for business owners to determine sales strategies for their business.

Abstract

The title of this research is the analysis of the thesis theme clustering algorithm using the k-means method. The main problem is how we can find out which theme is most in demand by thesis students at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. This clustering uses the K-means method. The K-Means method was chosen because this method is one of the non-hierarchical data clustering methods that seeks to partition data into two or more clusters with the same characteristics included in the same cluster. The purpose of this research is to help prospective students who will write their thesis in knowing which themes are more interested in them.

Abstract

The development of technology is currently growing very rapidly which allows us to access various kinds of data and information, but there are lots of people who abuse this ability, for example phishing activities that often target data and information owned by individuals and companies. Loss of data and information is very detrimental to individuals and companies, where the data and information can be used as a tool for extortion, used as a fraud tool and even the information can be traded. The main reason for the importance of maintaining the security of information is to protect information from online crimes. One of the techniques designed to protect important and confidential information is a cryptographic technique using the Blowfish algorithm and also a QR Code which functions as second line security. where data and information that has been converted into a QR Code cannot be changed. The purpose of this study is to apply the Blowfish Algorithm for Encryption and Decryption of the QR Code into an android-based application system. The results of this study are: The blowfish algorithm can be implemented into an android-based application. Plaintext which is converted into ciphertext using the blowfish algorithm can be used as a QR Code using a QR Code generator. A QR code is up to 7089 numeric digits and 4296 alphanumeric characters. The amount of information will affect the QR Code module, so the symbols in the QR Code will become more complicated. This application has received an assessment from respondents from users with an average value (6.5) with the category of choice "agree".

Abstract

Online learning media (Online learning) uses a technological approach that is more suited to today's student learning systems compared to conservative methods of learning in the classroom. By looking at the varying number of questions, the weighting of the exercises varies with the number of questions contained in the exercises. As for the examples of questions that consist of 20 questions, each question is worth 5, so if the student answers 20 questions correctly then the student gets a score of 100. The problems encountered in research on citizenship education learning are still manual so that students' understanding of the concepts and rules of citizenship education is still limited. less because it is rote. The problem formulation based on the background above is that the weighting of the questions and answers is not yet known. The benefit of this research is as an information medium to introduce quiz exercises in applications with citizenship education subject matter for students at Vocational High School 08, North Bengkulu Regency with the concept of learning while playing.

Abstract

Kegiatan membaca agar dapat meningkatkan minat baca harus dilakukan sedini mungkin. Perlunya pembentukan kebiasaan akan membaca atau budaya membaca akan menjadi lebih baik apabila dimulai sejak dini dengan kegeiatan sesederhana mungkin. Literasi juga dapat diartikan sebagai kemampuan dalam melakukan kegiatan baca, tulis, berhitung dan berbicara serta kemampuan dalam mencari dan menggunakan sebuah informasi. Dengan bantuan teknologi gadget seperti tablet PC maka model pembalajaran yang akan dikembangkan pada pojok baca ini nantinya akan terdapat beberapa games edukasi, tetapi pada pojok baca ini juga terdapat beberapa buku bacaan agar anak-anak dapat menyukai membaca dari beberapa buku. Dengan adanya program Pojok Baca Berbasis Teknologi ini telah berhasil meningkat minat baca anak-anak serta dapat meningkatkan kemajuan berfikir dan kreatifitas anak-anak dilingkungan yang menjadi objek penelitian. Serta dapat disimpulkan pula dengan adanya pojok digital ini dapat mendorong pemikiran positif anak-anak dalam memanfaatkan gadget serta alat-alat teknologi lainnya. Kata Kunci: Pojok, Baca, Digital

Abstract

Detection of skin cancer in its early phase is a challenge even for dermatologists. This study aims to analyze the performance of classification methods on multiclass skin cancer datasets using K-nearest neighbor (KNN) and histogram of oriented gradients (HOG). The dataset is taken publicly under the name Skin Cancer MNIST dataset: HAM10000 dataset totaling 10,015 data. The first experiment used the pixels per cell parameter of 8.8 and cells per block of 2.2 to get an accuracy of 60.58%. The second experiment used the pixels per cell parameter of 8.8 and cells per block of 2.2 to get an accuracy of 60.58%. The last experiment using the pixels per cell parameter of 8.8 and cells per block of 2.2 got the best accuracy of 61.43%.

Abstract

Mastery of Microsoft Word and Excel applications is essential in supporting administrative tasks and data management in educational settings. However, the limited ability of teachers and administrative staff to use this software is still a challenge in Sekolah Dasar Negeri 04 Kota Bengkulu. This community service activity aims to improve the basic skills of using Microsoft Word and Excel for teachers and administrative staff at the school. The training was conducted in several sessions covering the introduction and practice of the main features of Microsoft Word, such as setting document formats, creating tables, and using symbols, as well as Microsoft Excel, which includes creating tables, using basic formulas, and creating simple graphs. The results of the training showed an increase in participants' ability to manage documents and data independently, such as the preparation of reports, grade lists, and student attendance data. The evaluation of this activity showed that participants found it helpful in improving their digital skills, but further training is still needed to explore more complex features. This training program is expected to provide long-term benefits for schools in improving administrative efficiency and supporting the quality of digital-based learning.

Abstract

The usability analysis on the website of Mercu Buana University (UMB) is an important research carried out to ensure that the site effectively supports the university's goals, especially in terms of the user's experience in completing academic and administrative goals with ethical and professional standards. This research was carried out during the period January 2024 to May 2024. The main purpose of this study is to measure the usability of the UMB website using a questionnaire method. The questionnaire used for the research adapted the System Usability Scale (SUS) which consisted of a total of 10 questions. Based on the calculation of each statement item having a minimum score of 0 and a maximum score of 2.5, the final score of each respondent ranged from 0 to l00. The average score obtained was 63,125. Based on the results of the score of 63,125, the UMB website has a score in the range of 50 to 70. This shows that the UMB website is in the "quite good" category but there is still a need for a little improvement. Some icons or layouts on the UMB website are not familiar to respondents. In addition, there needs to be guidelines developed to provide information on how to use the website for users who are using the UMB website for the first time.
