Abstract

Assessment digunakan di lembaga PAUD untuk mengumpulkan informasi tentang hasil dan proses belajar anak usia dini namun, banyak guru masih mengeluh tentang proses pelaksanaan assessment karena banyak format yang perlu dimasukkan dan dikelola, yang membuat tugas guru menjadi lebih kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat produk assessment berbasis website SPANDU yang dapat digunakan untuk pelaksanaan assessment dan pengarsipan di lembaga PAUD. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan digunakan, dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini merupakan guru PAUD, dan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi menunjukkan angka 92%, validasi ahli media menunjukkan angka 86%. Hasil uji coba skala kecil mendapatkan nilai 79%. Hasil uji coba skala besar mendapatkan nilai 88% sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa website SPANDU sangat efektif, efisien, dan menarik dalam pelaksanaan assessment.

Abstract

Since the end of 2019, the world has been hit by the Corona Virus Disease 19 pandemic or commonly known as Covid-19. Following up on the government policy above, the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia ordered that learning during the Covid-19 emergency be carried out boldly (online) or by conducting distance learning. Parents have quite a big influence on children's learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic, where all learning is carried out boldly from home.Bold learning increases the intensity of meetings between children and parents, so that almost 24 hours the child will meet, be cared for and receive education from their parents. The type of parenting style applied will also influence the condition of the child and his environment when learning takes place.The aim of this research is to determine the type of parenting style applied by parents, children's learning outcomes during the pandemic and the relationship between parental parenting patterns and the learning outcomes of children aged 5-6 years during dare learning. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population consists of 69 children aged 5-6 years at AL Fadholi Kindergarten, Malang City. The sample in this study was all children selected as samples.The results of this research show that the correlation coefficient is 0.276, a finding that can be concluded that there is a relationship between parental parenting variables and children's overall learning outcome variables. In other words, the learning outcomes of children aged 5-6 years at Al Fadholi Kindergarten, Malang City, do not have much influence on parents' parenting patterns. Furthermore, there is a significant result (sig) of 0.022 between the parenting pattern variable and the child's overall learning outcome variable. This shows that there is a significant relationship between parenting styles and the learning outcomes of children aged 5-6 years at Al Fadholi Kindergarten, Malang City. Of the 69 parents of children aged 5-6 years, 14 people (around 20%) used an authoritarian parenting style, 42 people (around 61%) used a supportive parenting pattern, 12 people (around 17%) used a permissive parenting pattern, and 1 person (around 1%) use an unvolved parenting pattern (don't care). Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that during the courageous learning period at Al Fadholi Kindergarten, Malang City, the learning outcomes of children aged 5-6 years were significantly correlated with parental parenting patterns which were overall authoritarian, supportive, permissive and univolved (not involved).

Abstract

Beyond Cultural Values: Identifying Proximal Predictors of Early Literacy Skills in Indonesian Kindergarteners. Objectives: Early literacy development in young children is influenced by many interrelated factors within the family and cultural environments. In this study, we have also taken into account family values, parent–child relationships, and literacy activities in relation to children’s emergent reading in kindergarten. Methods: In the current study, a multiple regression design research approach was employed with 100 participants (early childhood teachers and parents). The information was collected by official questionnaires. The questionnaire included measures of familial sociocultural value orientation, parent–child interaction, literacy-related activities at home, and children’s early literacy skills, assessed through parent self-report items developed and adapted from established early literacy and home literacy environment instruments. To determine the predictive capability of the factors, multiple regression analysis was conducted as the technique for data analysis. Findings: The current research aims to identify the degree to which family socio-cultural values, parent-child interaction, and home literacy activities can predict outcomes in early literacy for children in kindergartens in Pasuruan, East Java, Indonesia. The results showed that parent-child interaction and home literacy activity variables have a strong positive effect on children's performance in early literacy. In contrast, family socio-cultural values alone did not demonstrate a direct statistical effect in the model. Conclusion: It would appear from our findings that active involvement and literacy-related pursuits are more influential in building early reading skills than attitudes towards learning within the family as a whole. Our recommended solution would be increasing parent-child interaction activities and engaging in literacy pursuit programs. However, these activities must be situated within culturally salient family contexts. The main originality of the study is that it simultaneously examines three family-based variables in a given cultural context, which reinforces the hypothesis that early literacy is influenced by a social and cultural framework. Keywords: early literacy, family socio-cultural values, parent–child relationship, literacy practices, preschool education.

Abstract

Bahasa adalah alat komunikasi yang harus dimilik setiap orang untuk melakukan komunikasi dan bersosialisasi. Perkembangan bahasa termasuk bagian dari faktor yang harus dikembangkan oleh anak karena sebagai penunjang komunikasi untuk mengungkapkan inspirasi, pemikiran dan perasaan kepada orang lain. Satu diantara kemampuan berbahasa yang harus dikembangkan adalah kemampuan menyimak. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami efektivitas tayangan animasi Riko The Series terhadap kemampuan menyimak anak uasi 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan jenis desain one group pretest postest design. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu anak kelompok B berjumlah 30 anak yang berusia 5-6 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Temuan menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik antara skor hasil pretest dan skor hasil postest. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tayangan animasi riko the series efektif terhadap kemampuan menyimak anak karena nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 pada uji hipotesis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan anatara hasil pretest dan postest. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa tayangan animasi Riko The Series secara signifikan efektif terhadap kemampuan menyimak anak 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini juga merekomendasikan untuk terus menggunakan tayangan animasi sejenis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak.

Abstract

The purpose and scope of this guidance activity are to provide kindergarten teachers in Sukun District, Malang City, the knowledge and skills about designing and implementing early childhood integrated art innovation learning to improve the effectiveness and quality of children’s art learning process in kindergarten as part of their job. Guidance and training methods that will be used in this activity are 1) delivery of material and discussion about the development of early childhood art skills and early childhood integrated art innovation; 2) guidance and practice in groups to discuss innovation and designing one learning material package of early childhood integrated art including art, dance, music, and drama literature; 3) Demonstration and simulation to demonstrate the early childhood integrated art innovation learning activity as a part of art class in kindergarten; 4) discussion and evaluation to get feedback both about the process and results of guidance and practice activities. The results obtained are 1) Non-Physical results; from the evaluation of the final results, it can be concluded that 90% (out of 40 participants) have understood the knowledge and skills about making early childhood integrated art innovation to improve the effectiveness and quality of children’s art learning process in kindergarten as part of their job; 2) Physical Result; obtained by the participants from the guidance and training activities are products in the form of early childhood integrated art innovation learning types about various themes and titles. In general, this guidance and training activity is considered successful because, at the end of the activity, all participants have the knowledge and skills about designing and implementing early childhood integrated art innovation learning to improve the effectiveness and quality of children’s art learning process in kindergarten as part of their job.

Abstract

Kemampuan matematika anak usia dini masih tergolong rendah akibat kurangnya bahan ajar yang menyenangkan,kontekstual, dan sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk modul pembelajaran berbasis deep learning untuk pengenalan matematika dimasa transisi PAUD dan SD  yang layak dari aspek isi, kegrafikan, dan penyajian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research & Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Data kuantitatif dianalisis dari hasil skor pada instrumen ahli media, materi dan pengguna. Data kualitatif didapatkan dari komentar atau saran dari para ahli dan pengguna. Modul yang dikembangkan memuat pendekatan meaningful learning, mindful learning, dan joyful learning serta dilengkapi aktivitas eksploratif, cerita kontekstual, permainan edukatif, dan asesmen perkembangan anak. Modul ini membantu anak dalam memahami konsep matematika seperti bilangan, operasi sederhana (penjumlahan dan pengurangan), mengenal bentuk, dan pola yang mengenal matematika dengan pengelaman langsung dan kegiatan yang menyenangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan dari ahli media 82, ahli materi 92, ahli pengguna 94. Uji coba kelompok kecil sebesar 93 dan uji coba kelompok besar sebesar 88 dan 94. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis deep learning efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman, motivasi, dan partisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran matematika. Dengan demikian, modul ini dinilai layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam mengenalkan matematika dimasa transisi PAUD ke SD.

Abstract

Anak usia dini merupakan generasi penerus bangsa yang diharapkan memperoleh stimulasi pembelajaran terbaik agar mampu menghadapi tantangan abad 21 melalui pembelajaran yang mendalam dan bermakna. Namun, terdapat permasalahan yang muncul di TK kecamatan Pandaan Kabupaten Pasuruan yakni keterbatasan kompetensi guru dalam menggunakan teknologi untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran, baik dalam merancang materi maupun dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana perencanaan pembelajaran mendalam berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pedagogis guru PAUD. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen perencanaan pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian 15 guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) di Kecamatan Pandaan yang mampu menggunakan teknologi sederhana, seperti aplikasi digital, media interaktif, dan platform. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAUD yang merancang pembelajaran mendalam mampu mengintegrasikan delapan kompetensi lulusan, memahami perkembangan anak, pengetahuan, sikap, karakter secara menyeluruh, memanfaatkan tekhnologi dan strategi pembelajaran aktif, sehingga kompetensi pedagogis meningkat terutama pada aspek perencanaan, pengelolaan kelas, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya pelatihan berkelanjutan mengenai perencanaan pembelajaran mendalam sebagai upaya meningkatkan profesionalisme guru PAUD.
