Abstract

The development of the Bangbeli application is one of the efforts to increase the number of users. However, to ensure that these changes and additions meet the users' needs, user validation is required to verify that the developed application meets the defined business requirements and functionalities, thereby providing benefits to both the company and end users. User acceptance testing aims to determine the respondents' feedback on a system that has been created. The results of this testing yield the user acceptance test results, which consist of three aspects: design interface, user-friendliness, and efficiency. The agreement percentages for each aspect are 69.64%, 71.12%, and 68.76% respectively.

Abstract

An expert system is a system that seeks to adopt human knowledge to a computer that is designed to model problem solving abilities like an expert (Durkin, 1994). The three main components contained in any expert system are the knowledge base, the inference engine, and the user interface. Forward chaining is a strategy to predict or find a solution to a problem that starts with a set of known facts, then derives new facts based on rules whose premises match the known facts. This process is continued until the goal is reached or there are no more rules whose premise matches the known facts. The system maker application media uses PHP and MySQL as databases

Abstract

Digitalization has become one of the key strategies in the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, including in Banyumas Regency. Digital transformation is believed to enhance competitiveness, operational efficiency, market access, and business sustainability of MSMEs. This study aims to systematically review the role of digitalization in MSME development, with a specific focus on the regional context of Banyumas Regency. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Scientific articles were collected from national and international databases, including SINTA, Google Scholar, Scopus, and Web of Science, published between 2019 and 2024. The results indicate that digitalization plays a significant role in improving MSME marketing performance, financial management efficiency, financial inclusion, and business resilience. However, the implementation of digitalization still faces several challenges, such as limited digital literacy, inadequate technological infrastructure, and insufficient institutional support. These findings are expected to provide insights for local governments, academics, and MSME practitioners in formulating digital-based MSME development policies and strategies in Banyumas Regency.

Digital transformation is considered a strategic instrument to enhance destination competitiveness, expand market access, and improve institutional resilience. This research employs a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) to examine the relationships among digital transformation, competitive advantage, and tourism village resilience. The study was conducted in selected highland tourism villages in Central Java, including [insert village names if needed]. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to tourism village managers, local stakeholders, and community representatives. The findings indicate that digital transformation has a significant positive effect on competitive advantage and resilience. Furthermore, competitive advantage partially mediates the relationship between digital transformation and tourism village resilience. These results suggest that digital adoption, digital marketing integration, and digital governance practices are critical in strengthening sustainable tourism development in highland areas. The study contributes to the literature on digital tourism transformation and provides managerial implications for policymakers and tourism village managers in developing adaptive and resilient tourism ecosystems.

Abstract

Talempong, the Minangkabau bronze gong tradition of West Sumatra, is an important but under-documented intangible cultural heritage. This study examines Talempong's historical evolution, aesthetic value, and role in maintaining Minangkabau identity amidst modernization and the commodification of tourism. Three main focuses are: the development of Talempong from prehistory to the contemporary; the aesthetic principles underlying the performance; and its function as a marker of ethnic and communal identity. Qualitative interpretive methods are employed through a review of ethnomusicology, anthropology, and tourism literature, as well as an analysis of documents on Talempong practice. The findings reveal five historical layers from megalithic idiophones to tourism oriented diatonic ensembles; an aesthetic based on oral tuning systems (limo salabuan, onam salabuan) and colotomic patterns that emphasize communal cooperation; and Talempong's function as a nagari identity, a traditional medium, and a cultural tourism resource. The discussion situates these findings within debates on intangible heritage preservation in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. The conclusion confirms that Talempong's sustainability depends on a balance of authenticity and adaptive innovation, with recommendations for community-based documentation, educational transmission, and heritage tourism governance.

Abstract

Traditional music plays a crucial role in local cultural identity, yet faces pressures from globalization, modernization, and urbanization. This article examines the social transformation and sustainability challenges of Talempong, a Minangkabau percussion ensemble in West Sumatra, through a qualitative case study based on ethnographic observation, interviews, and document analysis. Results reveal tonal, technical, and functional hybridization; weakening intergenerational transmission due to urbanization and the erosion of nagari structures; and the commodification of Talempong for tourism and popular entertainment, which opens up economic opportunities while diminishing ritual authenticity. The discussion places these findings within the framework of glocalization, cultural hybridity, and sustainability, concluding that Talempong's survival depends on adaptive, community-based revitalization that balances authenticity with digital innovation, the creative economy, and youth education. Such approaches are essential to ensure that Talempong remains a dynamic cultural practice capable of evolving with social change while preserving its historical significance, symbolic meanings, and Minangkabau cultural identity.

Abstract

Talempong, a Minangkabau bronze gong ensemble in West Sumatra, embodies both cultural identity and creative economic potential, yet its role in cultural tourism remains rarely studied. This study examines Talempong's potential as a tourism attraction and creative economy instrument, as well as a strategy for revitalization and community empowerment. Using a qualitative case study approach through interviews, participant observation, and documentary analysis, data were triangulated and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. Findings indicate that Talempong functions as a living heritage asset, a performative tourism product, and a revenue-generating creative good through instrument making, performances, music education, and souvenirs, yet faces challenges of generational transmission, limited market access, and weak institutional support. Discussions highlight that the success of Talempong-based tourism depends on the synergy of cultural authenticity, community involvement, and market packaging. The study concludes that collaborative governance between artisans, the village, and the creative sector can revitalize Talempong while strengthening community livelihoods, with practical implications for sustainable music tourism policy.
