Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this jurnal is to describe the corelation between students’ reading appreciative short story and writing short story text skill of VII grade MTs. N Lubuk Buaya Padang. This research is quantitative research in term of description of corelation study. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that. First, students’ skill in reading appreciative short story of VII grade MTs. N Lubuk Buaya Padang is good with the avarage score 80,57. Second, students’ skill in writing short story text is good with the avarage score is 76,67. Third, based on t test,  it can be concluded that there is significant corelation between students’ skill in reading appreciative short story and students’ skill in writing short story text of VII grade MTs. N Lubuk Buaya Padang because t counted is bigger than t table (12,19>2,021). Kata kunci:  hubungan, membaca apresiatif, keterampilan menulis, teks cerpen

Abstract

This article was written to illustrate the effect of using problem based learning model with serialized media relation to writing skill of exposition of VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman. This research data is a score in the skills of writing exposition texts before and after using the problem-based model of learning assisted media series image. This study has three results. First, the skills of writing expository texts before using the problem based learning model with the help of the medium of serial images are in the qualification Enough (C). Second, the skill of writing the text of the exposition of the students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman after using the problem based learning model assisted by the media of the series is qualified More than Enough (Ldc). Third, based on the t test concluded that there is a significant influence on the skill of writing expository text because thitung> ttabel (5,54> 1.70).Kata kunci: pengaruh, model problem based learning, media gambar berseri, menulis teks eksposisi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was written to know the correlation of reading comprehension skills of the text of the observation result with the skill of writing the text of the observation report of the students of grade VII SMPN 2 Nan Sabaris, Padang Pariaman District. This type of research is quantitative. The method used in this research is descriptive method with correlational design. The population is the seventh grade students of SMPN 2 Nan Sabaris, Padang Pariaman District, which is 105 people divided into four classes. The sample of this study is 32 people. The research consists of two variables, namely the independent variable (reading comprehension skills of the text of the observation report of the seventh grade of SMPN 2 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman) and the dependent variable (writing skill of the observation report of grade VII SMPN 2 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman). The result of the research shows that for the skill of writing the text of the observation result, it is necessary to read comprehension skill of the observation report. From the results of this study can be concluded that there is a significant relationship (meaning) between reading comprehension skills text report the results of observation with the skills of writing text reports of observations of students of class VII SMPN 2 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman on n-1 degrees of freedom at a significant level 95 % with thitung larger than ttable that is 5,652> 1,70. Kata kunci; membaca pemahaman, menulis teks laporan hasil observasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This is article of research is to description the effects of the using the inquiry learning strategy towards the skills of writing a paragraph argument of the ten grade students at SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. Based on the results of data analysis it was concluded the following three points. First, the skills of writing a paragraph argument of students of class X SMA Adabiah 2 Padang without using inquiry learning strategy is located on qualifications is more than enough (68,95). Second, the skills of writing a paragraph argument of students of class X SMA Adabiah 2 Padang using inquiry learning strategy is located on qualifications is good (80,95). Third, based on the result of uji-t, there is effects of inquiry learning strategy towards the skills of writing a paragraph argument of students of class X SMA Adabiah 2 Padang because taritmatic> t table (4,48> 167). Kata kunci: pengaruh, strategi pembelajaran inkuiri, dan paragraf argumentasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article is written to find out the correlation between vocabulary mastery in environtment sector with the ability of writing the explanation text by eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Padang. The type of this research is quantitative research. The method used in this research is descriptive method which uses correlational research design. The populations of this research are eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Padang which consist of 193 students who are divided into seven classes. The samples of this research are 42 students. This research consists of two variables, which are independent variable (vocabulary mastery in environtment sector of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Padang) and dependent variable (the ability of writing explanation text by eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Padang). The research’s results show that for the ability of writing explanation text is needed the vocabulary mastery in environtment sector. From the result of the research, it can be concluded that there is significant relation (meaningful) between the vocabulary mastery in environtment sector with the ability of writing explanatiom text by eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Padang on degree of freedom n-1 at significant degree 95% which the tcount is bigger that ttable, which is 9,8 > 1,683. Kata kunci: penguasaan kosakata bidang lingkungan, menulis teks eksplanasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was written to illustrate the effect of using model Copy The Master techniques on the writing skills of poetry text in class X of SMA Negeri 4 Padang. This research used quantitative method which usedone group pretest and posttest design. The population of this research in class X of SMA Negeri 4 Padang. There was 288 population but there was only one class to be the sampel. It was class X MIPA 1 which consisted of 32 students that choosen by using purposive sampling technique. Research data is the result of the score in the skill of writing poetry text before and after using model Copy The Master technique. This study has three result. First, the skill to write poetry text in class X of SMA Negeri 4 Padang before using the model Copy The Master technique with an average score of 69,27. Second, the skill of writing poetry text of the students of class X SMA Negeri 4 Padang aftel using the model imitation technique with an average score of 79,39. Third, based on the t-test at the level of 0.95 obtained tcount >ttabel (4,62> 1,70). So, it can be said that H1 is accepted. This means that there can be a significant influence on the use of model Copy The Master techniques on the writing skills of poetry text in class X of SMA Negeri 4 Padang. Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Teknik Copy The Master, Kemampuan Menulis, Teks         Puisi

Abstract

                                                    ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to describe the form of speech act directive, storytelling strategy, context of speech, and student's response to speech act of Indonesian teacher directive in PBM in class IX SMP Negeri 3 Batusangkar. The subjects in this study are Indonesian. Teachers SMP Negeri 3 Batusangkar, Ms. Mis Elli and students of class IX SMP Negeri 3 Batusangkar. Instrument in this research is self-researcher and assisted by recording device (handphone withbrand OPPO A37f), stationery, and observation sheet. The data that have been collected is analyzed by grouping the data of act form of directive speech, story strategy, context of speech, and student response in teaching and learning process. Based on the result of the research, it is concluded four things. First, the most dominant form of speech acts found is the act of speech, but the least directive speech acts are the act of supplication. Second, the dominant narrativestrategy found is a frankly straightforward strategy, while a straightforward strategy of negative politeness is rare, let alone spoken to the heart. Third, the context of the use of strategy in the speech of teacher directive directive to students in the PBM in class IX SMP Negeri 3 Batusangkar using kin greetings, such as "self-nickname" and sometimes "kid" because speech acts directive in PBM teachers used to the opponent more small from the speaker. Fourth, the dominant response found is a positive verbal response, whereas the least-found response is a negative nonverbal response.Kata kunci: tindak tutur direktif, guru, respon siswa

The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to describe the influence model of discovery learning the skills of writing text exposition class VII SMP Negeri 10 Padang. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. The results of this research are three: (1) writing text skills exposition before using discovery learning model of class VII SMP Negeri 10 Padang are in qualifying Nearly Enough (HC) with an average value of 61,49, (2) writing text skills exposition after using discovery learning model of class VII SMP Negeri 10 Padang are in qualification More than Enough (HC) with an average value of 72,41, and (3) exposition writing text skills class VII SMP Negeri 10 Padang after using the model of discovery learning better than before using the model of discovery learning. Kata Kunci: pengaruh, model discovery, teks cerita fantasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe 1) the achievement of text-based Indonesian learning planning in Gunung Tuleh 1 Public Middle School, Mount Tuleh 2 Public Middle School, and Mount Tuleh 3 Public Middle School, 2) the achievement of text-based Indonesian language learning at Mount Tuleh 1 Public Middle School, Gunung Tuleh 2 Public Middle School 2, and Mount Tuleh 3 Public Middle School, and 3) achievement of a text-based assessment of Indonesian learning at Mount Tuleh 1 Public Middle School, Mount Tuleh 2 Public Middle School, and Mount Tuleh 3 Public Middle School. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data in this study are the results of data collection by utilizing the observation, interview, and documentation study guidelines. The techniques used in research are observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the findings of the researcher and discussion, three things can be concluded. 1) Overall aspects of learning planning have been made well by the Indonesian language teacher Gunung Tuleh Public Middle School in accordance with the syllabus and in accordance with Annex IV of the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 81A of 2013. 2) Overall aspects of the implementation of learning that have been made well by the Indonesian language teacher Gunung Tuleh Public Middle School are mostly in accordance with the four stages of text-based learning. 3) Overall aspects of assessment of learning that have been made well by Indonesian language teachers Gunung Tuleh Public Middle School is mostly in accordance with authentic assessment aspects.  Kata kunci: implementasi, pembelajaran, berbasis teksÂ
