Abstract

Abtract: The effect of R410 Refrigerant Mass Variation of The Low Stage Side on Performance of Cascade Engine Cooling. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of changes in the mass variation of refrigerant R410A in the Low - Stage Cooling on the coeficient of performance of the cascade refrigeration. The benefits of this research is to contribute valuable knowledge in the field of refrigeration, especially in the areas of health, agriculture and fisheries. The research method used is to perform testing or direct observation of the cascade refrigeration by replacing the stuffing or the mass of refrigerant in the low - stage of cascade system. Variation of refrigerant mass is 180, 190 and 200 gram. Any variations were observed mass of the pressure and temperature at a predetermined test points. The results showed that at the same time the rising in cooling capacity of the machine cascade with increasing refrigerant mass speed. With a mass of 180 gram showed a significant increase in weight compared to other masses, where a higher cooling capacity kW at 0.39 and coefficient of performance is 1.23.   Keywords :  Mesin refrigerasi, cascade, refrigeran R410A

Abstract

Pelatihan kompor pintar ini sangat disambut baik oleh warga desa karanganyar paiton probolinggo. Kompor pintar ini sangat berguna untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari seperti memasak air, memasak nasi, telur dan ikan. Alat ini memmiliki keunggulan dapat sebagai charger hp setelah proses pembakaran kompor dengan biomassa kayu dan daun kering. Alat ini bersifat portable dan mudah dibawa kemana-mana serta cocok untuk kegiatan berkemah di hutan. Biomasaa yang digunakan oleh kompor pintar ini sangat mudah yaitu kayu dan daun kering. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini sangat memudahkan warga mengoperasikan kompor pintar secara mandiri di rumah. Hasil panas dari pembakaran kompor dapat dijadikan daya listrik untuk charger handphone. Kompor pintar ini juga dapat menyalakan 1 buah lampu LED berukuran 5-10 watt.

Abstract

The stove is an important component in the kitchen. Stoves can help cook food or drinks. Using a gas stove is very expensive. LPG gas is a stove fuel that is often used by people for cooking. The price of stoves and LPG gas is now increasing. Meanwhile, there are also a lot of cooking needs, so this will result in more gas usage and more expensive costs. Given this problem, the author created a smart stove that has advantages. This smart stove is medium in size and portable so it can be taken anywhere. Apart from that, this tool uses a supercapacitor, which can store the electrical voltage produced by the heat of burning biomass. This tool can produce electricity from biomass and solar cells. Selecting the type of biomass uses the simple additive weighing (saw) method, namely wood or waste. Internet of Things (IOT) is an information medium for the smart stove process. Apart from cooking, this tool can also light 1 LED lamp measuring 5–10 watts, can be used as a 5 volt cellphone charger or a charge time of 60 minutes. The advantage of this smart stove is that it really helps people, thereby reducing the cost of purchasing gas

Abstract

This research is about post-harvest tomato selection where the TCS230 color sensor Will go through a way of assessing light intensity by emitting caused by super bright leds through objects, reading light intensity values ​​starting with an 8x8 photodiode matrix, on 64 photodiodes will be divided into 4 parts of color reading, on the color illuminated by the led reflected by the led light to the photodiode, the reflection of the light will be extended by a wave that changes depending on the color of the object being detected, the TCS230 color sensor can read several colors. A tomato will enter its place, the tomato may always stop right under the sensor so that the sensor will not be able to detect the presence of tomatoes that pass, and cannot read the RGB value of the tomatoes that pass. The results of 10 tests showed that selecting tomatoes successfully classified tomato grades, could control servo motors and DC motors automatically based on RGB values ​​through a processing time of about 3 seconds with an error rate of 2%.

Abstract

Desa Sekarkare di Kabupaten Probolinggo merupakan salah satu sentra produksi bawang merah di Jawa Timur. Namun, proses pengeringan bawang merah di desa ini masih banyak dilakukan secara tradisional, sehingga sangat bergantung pada kondisi cuaca dan rentan terhadap kontaminasi oleh debu serta mikroorganisme. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan rendahnya efisiensi pengeringan, terutama saat musim hujan atau ketika sinar matahari tidak optimal. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, dilakukan pelatihan kepada petani dan pelaku usaha bawang merah mengenai penggunaan mesin pengering bawang otomatis. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan teknis petani dalam mengoperasikan dan merawat alat pengering, sehingga mereka dapat mengeringkan bawang secara lebih efisien, higienis, dan tepat waktu. Hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan mesin pengering otomatis sangat membantu masyarakat desa dalam menjaga kualitas bawang merah, mengurangi risiko pembusukan, dan meningkatkan daya jual produk, terutama saat musim hujan. Dengan demikian, teknologi ini memberikan solusi nyata terhadap permasalahan pascapanen dan mendukung peningkatan produktivitas petani di Desa Sekarkare.

Abstract

Green house  harus  dapat  mengendalikan  lingkungan  dengan parameter suhu dan kelembaban udara yang  sesuai  bagi  pertumbuhan  tanaman.  Namun, penyiraman  tanaman manual harus  selalu  dilakukan  setiap saat,  dimana  hal  tersebut  menyita  waktu  bagi para  petani.  Greenhouse dengan  teknologi  modern  menciptakan kontrol  secara  otomatis seperti  pada  alat  penyiram  tanaman. Dengan  demikian,  waktu  yang  dihabiskan  untuk menyiram tanaman lebih sedikit dibanding sistem manual. Selain itu, petani dapat menghemat air yang selama ini terbuang  sia-sia  karena  tidak  tahu  kondisi  kebutuhan  air  pada  tanaman. Sistem penyiraman tanaman otomatis dengan sensor DHT 22 digunakan untuk mengontrol  lingkungan greenhouse. Dengan  berkembangnya  internet  hampir  di  seluruh  dunia,  memberikan  perubahan  pada  aktivitas manusia   sehari-hari.   Teknologi   Internet Of   Things (IOT) memungkinkan   objek   saling   terhubung   dan berkomunikasi satu sama lain. Pada alat control fertigasi ini, IOT menghubungkan perangkat sensor dan Solenoid valve untuk dapat dimonitor melalui jaringan internet.  IOT dibangun dengan modul ESP8266 yang memungkinkan akses melaui internet.  Perancangan hardware menggunakan mikrokontroler sebagai metode pengendalian. Data kemudian dikirim secara online ke situs open-sourceyang berfungsi sebagai   web server.  Web server digunakan sebagai pengontrolan dan monitoring data yang diakses melalui internet. Kesimpulan pada alat ini ialah sistem dapat melakukan penyiraman secara otomatis.Sistem dapat melakukan penyiraman secara otomatis,lebih besar dari kelembaban suhu 30  dan kelembaban udara kurang dari 90%. Agar  kondisi tanaman dapat terjaga dengan baik.Sitem dapat di kontrol dengan jaringan WIFI  Dengan melalui aplikasi Blynk.Dapat menampilkan status kondisi kelembaban suhu dan kelembaban udara pada LCD dan aplikasi Blynk.Dapat di kontrol dari mana saja dan kapan saja.

Abstract

Sistem pemasyarakatan di Indonesia menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam memenuhi perlindungan hak narapidana, yang mencakup masalah kapasitas lembaga yang berlebihan, praktik pungutan liar, dan terbatasnya fasilitas yang mendukung proses rehabilitasi. Meskipun Undang-Undang No. 12 Tahun 1995 tentang Pemasyarakatan mengatur bahwa narapidana berhak atas perlindungan hak asasi manusia, realitas di lapangan menunjukkan ketidaksesuaian antara kebijakan dan implementasi yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi perlindungan hak narapidana sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan, serta faktor-faktor yang menghambat pemenuhan hak tersebut. Dalam studi ini, ditemukan bahwa masalah utama seperti over kapasitas dan kelemahan tata kelola administratif di Lapas Indonesia menghambat pemenuhan hak-hak dasar narapidana. Selain itu, keterbatasan fasilitas dan rendahnya motivasi narapidana untuk mengikuti program pembinaan menjadi faktor signifikan yang memperburuk efektivitas rehabilitasi dan reintegrasi sosial. Untuk itu, penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya reformasi dalam kebijakan pemasyarakatan, penguatan pelatihan bagi petugas, dan peningkatan fasilitas di lembaga pemasyarakatan agar hak-hak narapidana dapat terlindungi dengan lebih optimal. Diperlukan juga partisipasi aktif masyarakat untuk mendukung proses reintegrasi sosial bagi mantan narapidana. Selain itu, pendekatan rehabilitatif yang lebih manusiawi harus diutamakan dalam sistem pemasyarakatan untuk menghindari diskriminasi dan menciptakan sistem yang lebih adil serta berorientasi pada pemulihan sosial.

Abstract

The study aims to develop English subject syllabus and course material by integrating the life story of Sam Ratulangi in Sam Ratulangi University. The researchers employ need analysis as the core of this research. Besides, this study also provides questionnaire for students signing in Bahasa Inggris course as well as the graduates of the subject. Interview is conducted to English lecturers and alumni of Sam Ratulangi University. To support the data mentioned, document analysis is administered to investigate the current syllabus along with textbook as course material of Bahasa Inggris course. The population of this research is the first-year students of Sam Ratulangi University from four departments (department of English literature and Indonesia literature representing social studies while department of pharmacy and nursing representing science studies). This study applies Slovin method in selecting the sampling. Descriptive research is applied in this study. It also employs both quantitative and qualitative method. Responses to questionnaire is qualitatively analyzed using The Likert Scale. Instead of using five rating scale, this study addresses only a four-point rating system since it focuses mostly on making decisions based on the needs of the students. The data from interview, document analysis, and test is analyzed quantitatively. The result and product of this research is the proper syllabus along with the course materials based on the students’ needs. Moreover, it promotes the systematic procedure in designing and developing a course both from syllabus aspect and course material.

Abstract

Residents in remote areas have not been able to enjoy electricity, including Desa Duren, Gading District, located in the mountainous area south of Probolinggo Regency, where the village still does not receive electricity supply from PLN. Hydropower is a renewable energy that can be used as a substitute for generators, where this potential can be used to become a Gravitation Water Vortex Power Plant (GWVPP) already in the village, but it needs a touch of redesign. The results of the research on the reduction of gravitation water vortex power pland in Duren Village can be obtained that the electric power generated is 727.7 watts, where this power can supply electricity needs of 5 houses.

Abstract

The electrical energy produced by solar panels has been used as a renewable energy solution to support human life. In reality, this alternative energy has not been widely used due to the constraints of expensive initial investment, so it is necessary to design solar power generation components, one of which is a reliable, optimal, efficient and economical solar charge controller. The controller is made using the switching method. The switching process can occur by setting the duty cycle through the embedded controller in the solar charge controller circuit. Based on the test results, a duty cycle value of 1% to 100% can occur the switching process. The duty cycle that has been set on the solar charge controller is 90%. The duty cycle is a duty cycle where the output voltage approaches the setpoint of the minimum charger voltage. The input voltage from the solar panel when connected to the battery of ±16 volts can be regulated to ±14 volts by the solar charge controller. Based on the battery charging specifications, the controller output can be used to charge a 12 volt battery.
