Abstract

Advances in technology and information are often a double-edged sword. The development of art in the world of entertainment is now very easy to enjoy not only through television, but also through youtube and tik-tok which are applications favored by children. The researcher uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach to analyze how art education is channeled through video sharing applications that are currently popular with the younger generation, which is related to child development in terms of personality and artistic aspects. The author refers to Piaget's theory of child development which reveals that when a child begins to develop towards the maturity stage, it will experience biological adaptation to its environment which will cause qualitative changes in its cognitive structure. The purpose of writing this article is to analyze the influence of art education related to digital disruption in the era of globalization for children's development, as well as how art is the ideal entertainment world for children. The positive impact of art on social media in the era of globalization makes children more creative, think ahead, and increase self-confidence. While the most severe negative impact is the emergence of addiction or addiction. This article is expected to provide a new picture of art education in accordance with the pattern of child development stages.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic currently affecting the world, especially that experienced by Indonesia, has also had an impact on new adaptations in the area of education. The educational process that previously dominated, which was carried out outside the network, then in the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, the education process switches to the network and is familiarly called online learning. With regard to the art of music, especially vocal learning, the Covid-19 pandemic situation raises creative ideas so that learning can continue effectively. One form of vocal learning during the Covid-19 pandemic is vocal learning through virtual spaces or in networks that utilize technology. This research shows that there are virtual values of art education in vocal learning. The advantages of virtual vocal learning are that a person has high expression, moral responsibility, the spirit of independence to practice can grow to the maximum, has a high enthusiasm for learning so that learning needs are not just during class, and can foster one's empathy.

Abstract

Abstrak. The emergency curriculum is a designation that is in accordance with the conditions during the covid-19 pandemic. This curriculum is a simplified curriculum from the 2013 curriculum. The independent learning curriculum provides space for education, especially early childhood education . The purpose of this paper is that this curriculum creates character education by building local wisdom and the uniqueness of each in their learning. In addition, this curriculum supports the government's efforts to restore learning through character planting in self-expression art education orientation . Art education in PAUD should be a means of training the skills and coordination of children's movements as well as a means to introduce and instill the value of Indonesian art and culture. This research is a literature review type, in this case the researcher analyzes the emergency curriculum for arts education in PAUD. For this reason, the results of this paper assume that the art of dance in PAUD is as an implementation of the prototype curriculum/independence to learn PAUD and self-expression art education in strengthening children's character planting, namely with creative dance children can grow creative, independent and critical reasoning and the principle is a student centered approach.

Abstract

Abstract. The writing of this article aims to describe the results of the analysis of the application of Discipline-Based Art Education (DBAE) in the learning outcomes of the Labanotation course as part of the strategy to create a profile of graduates who have competence in dance and or dance education. The learning achievement of Labanotation is not only as a dance handicapping system, but also can hone analytical skills in dance movements. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach. Based on the results of data processing and analysis that has been carried out, it is concluded that through the DBAE approach the implementation of the Labanotation Course is held with the aim of equipping/preparing students, so that students have skills and insight in writing and reading Labanotation, analyzing dance movements in order to understand the form and shape of dance techniques in dissecting and compiling them. This analytical ability is also needed by students in processing teaching materials and compiling learning methodologies. So it is hoped that by studying Labanotation, students when they graduate will be ready to have qualified competencies in the fields of research, education, and entrepreneurship in accordance with the predetermined graduate profile.

Abstract

Abstrak. The science learning at primary schools for learners should refer to the Ministerial Regulation of Cultural and Educational Ministry Number 24 about Core Competence and Basic Competence. This research aims to: 1). Analyze the critical thinking skills of primary school students taught with online learning, and 2) analyze the cause of critical thinking achievement problems in science learning at primary school. This qualitative descriptive research took the data from the in-depth interview. The researchers promoted the research at four primary schools in Banjarbaru on December 1, until December 30, 2021. The researchers took the data source from the Quality Assurance Agency of Education Department in Southern Borneo, the school advisors, the principals, the primary school teachers, the fourth graders, and the parents. The applied analysis was Miles & Huberman (2014), starting from the data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results showed most teachers applied science learning online but the learning could not reach the critical thinking target for the learners. The fact predicting factors of the problems were 1). Learning scenario plan without Core Competence analysis and without considering the Core Competence, 2) The problem of designing the online learning, and 3) The mindsets of the teachers and principals about the learning objectives to accomplish the curriculum materials instead of reaching the core competence.

Abstract

Abstrak. High school physics learning outcomes referring to the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture include aspect of understanding concept. The purpose of this study was to descriptively analyze the development and effectiveness of STEM-Project Based learning (STEM-PjBL) model in physics learning outcomes referring to the independent curriculum in Indonesia. This study used a descriptive qualitative research approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, data observation, literature studies. The study was conducted in six Senior High Schools in Semarang from July 1st to August 31st, 2022. The data sources consisted of physics teachers, observation sheets and literature studies from published or perish (PoP). In the literature study, data collection was carried out based on the Scopus database with the keywords STEM Based Project based learning; Physics learning. The data analysis was carried out using Miles and Huberman (2014) model, which included the stages of data reduction, display, and verification. The results showed that most of the teachers who applied physics learning in the independent curriculum had not used the STEM-based PjBL learning model and still experienced many obstacles in developing learning scenarios, thus the outcomes of learning physics were still low. Supported by the results of literature study using PoP, it illustrates that the trend of physics publications from 2017-2022 is dominated by PjBL and STEM learning at the high school level. This study recommends that the availability of guides or manuals for implementing online and offline STEM-based PjBL learning model that can develop the aspects of scientific skills and product of the students learning is needed.
