Abstract

In the development of the technological era which is called the era of globalization, then we. How are we faced with cultural arts values ​​that have been forgotten by our generation, especially children who are still in school, both at the elementary and junior high school levels or even at the high school level, this is due to the lack of attention from related parties, especially from the parents, the school and the surrounding environment who do not provide understanding to the generation about the importance of knowledge of cultural values ​​which are directed to the historical values ​​of the nation's struggle in the formation of the characteristics of students as a generation in achieving state goals in developing an attitude of nationalism and a sense of responsibility as citizens a good country.. With an understanding of this cultural arts will certainly create a sense of nationality, by carrying out forms of positive behavior in everyday life. This research aims to shape student characteristics through cultural values, especially the culture of South Sumatra, in understanding Pancasila values ​​towards national values ​​as a form of nationalism. The research methodology is descriptive qualitative, in the form of direct observation of the object, in this case through the students of SMP PGRI 1 Palembang, as well as the community involved in this research. Qualitative research is a method for obtaining the truth and is classified as scientific research which is built on the basis of theories that develop from research and is controlled on an empirical basis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran Lembar Kerja Mandiri (LKM) terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas 8A di SMP Negeri 2 Belitang Jaya OKU Timur. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan ancangan kuantitatif. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri 02 Belitang Jaya kelas VIII sebanyak 2 kelas dengan jumlah siswa 53 orang. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIIIa, dari dua kelas, satu yang di jadikan sampel. Berdasarkan kajian yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penggunaan keterampilan menulis puisi menggunakan lembar kerja mandiri (LKM) memberikan dampak yang positif sebesar 25% bagi peserta didik lebih aktif dalam proses belajar. Dengan demikian, dalam hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima.

Abstract

Education currently occupies a very important position in human development. The quality of the Finnish educational system is interesting to study because its success has been recognized worldwide. This study provides an overview of the comparison of the education systems of the countries of Indonesia and Finnish. The method used in this study is literature study. The results of the study show several differences, (1) Indonesia's educational system is colored by many competitions while Finnish puts forward the principle of equality; (2) Indonesia has a system of failing a grade and student ranking, Finnish has’nt failing a grade and ranking system; (3) Indonesia load learning every week +/- 40 hours, Finnish lessons +/- 30 hours per week; (4) Indonesia learns a lot in class, Finnish puts forward problem solving methods; (5) Indonesia assignments almost become a routine agenda every face to face, Finnish does not burden students with a lot of tasks, (6) Indonesia minimum teacher qualifications D4, Finnish minimum teacher qualifications S2 (Master), (7) Indonesian qualifications students enter basic education for at least 6 years (5.5 years accompanied by written recommendations from professional psychologists), Finnish qualifications for students entering basic education for at least 7 years.

Abstract

Globalization has driven profound changes in educational curricula. A more inclusive and globally oriented approach is becoming a major trend. The Islamic education curriculum is not immune from these changes. There are efforts to integrate Islamic educational materials with a broader understanding of the world and global culture. In some cases, Islamic education curricula adopt a more progressive approach with a focus on critical thinking skills, foreign languages, and digital literacy. Globalization has introduced various new learning approaches and methods. Traditional Islamic education, which often consists of rote memorization and reproduction of sacred texts, faces pressure to adopt an approach more oriented towards understanding social and global contexts. Globalization has opened access to international educational resources through technology. This allows Islamic students and teachers to access new information and knowledge more easily, which can change the way Islamic education is taught and studied.

Abstract

This article discusses the cultural values ​​contained in the marriage customs of the Komering tribe of South Sumatra, as an effort to preserve South Sumatra's local culture. which aims to discover the cultural values ​​contained in the cultural values ​​of the marriage customs of the Komering tribe community as a form of local wisdom of the Komering tribe community, Ogan Komering Ulu. Regency. Qualitative descriptive methods were used in this research to examine and understand the cultural values ​​of the marriage customs of the people of South Sumatra, especially the Komering tribe, in this case the traditional Corral Culture custom before the marriage contract procession. Data was obtained using observation, interviews, documentation and literature study techniques. The data were analyzed using data processing techniques resulting from data collection in the field by direct observation of the community at the wedding procession of the Palembang community, specifically for the Komering tribe, at the data analysis stage through a qualitative approach, where the data collected is not in the form of numbers but rather by collecting data using interview and observation guidelines The results of the research are the lack of implementation of this traditional cage culture among the people of South Sumatra, so there is a need to study this traditional cage culture through efforts to provide outreach to the community, related parties, in this case the traditional cultural figures, the education sector. arts and culture, through direct promotion, verbal promotion (word of mouth) Leaflets, posters, newspapers.

Abstract

The low quality of the teaching and learning process and outcomes indicates that the interaction between students and learning resources, such as teachers and the environment, is not effective so that the learning outcomes achieved are not optimal, resulting in low educational quality. Education is a process for someone to gain knowledge, experience and behavior. Apart from that, the role of education is also an important factor in a person's ability to solve problems in their life with the values ​​in society.

Abstract

Creative household waste management can provide environmental and economic benefits for the community. Used cooking oil, which is often considered waste, has the potential to be processed into high-value products such as aromatic candles. These candles are not only useful as an alternative lighting source but also function as fly repellent and aromatherapy that increases the comfort of the home environment. This community service program aims to improve skills and empower PKK mothers in Togafo Village, West Ternate City District, by helping them make aromatic candles from used cooking oil and clove flower stalks. The methods used include initial socialization regarding the benefits and techniques of making aromatic candles, practical training with direct demonstrations, and post-training assistance through routine monitoring and technical assistance. The results of the program show an increase in participants' skills in producing aromatic candles independently, reducing used cooking oil waste, and the potential for developing micro-businesses. This activity has succeeded in empowering the community to manage waste creatively, providing solutions to fly problems, and opening up new economic opportunities, thus becoming a service model that can be replicated in other areas.

Abstract

Literasi kesehatan digital adalah kemampuan untuk mencari, menemukan, memahami, dan menilai informasi kesehatan yang berasal dari sumber elektronik, untuk kemudian mengaplikasikannya untuk menyelesaikan masalah kesehatan. Kaum remaja inilah yang menurut survei APJII tahun 2019-2020 merupakan kelompok penduduk dengan penetrasi internet terbesar di Indonesia. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pendidikan kesehatan remaja melalui literasi kesehatan digital agar remaja tersebut bisa lebih kritis saat mengonsumsi informasi kesehatan digital, mampu memilah informasi kesehatan yang valid dan tidak.Kegiatan ini melibatkan 40 siswa SMAN 13 Maros. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan adala penyuluhan kesehatan remaja dan pelatihan sederhana verifikasi informasi.Hasil dari kegiatan penyuluhan didapatkan perubahan pengetahuan dan kemampuan siswa dari negative ke positif sebesar 30% melalui kuesioner pretest dan post test. Diharapkan pada pihak sekolah dapat meningkatkan literasi digital siswa dengan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan pengembangan kelompok atau organisasi remaja yang fokus pada literasi dan kesehatan remaja

Abstract

Citrus limon, also known locally as lemon, is a member of the Rutaceae family and is often grown in South Asian countries. Lemons are widely recognized as a horticultural commodity and offer a wider variety of uses than other citrus fruits. Lemons offer significant potential and represent a promising market opportunity for intensive cultivation. Availability of high-quality seedlings in sufficient quantities, within a relatively short timeframe, and at affordable prices are crucial initial steps to ensure success in this lemon cultivation endeavor. One method of vegetative propagation that can be applied to lemon plants is grafting.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the steps, advantages, and disadvantages of implementing the Cooperative Problem Solving learning model in social studies lessons at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 4 Klaten Regency and Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 5 Karanganyar. This study used a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were teachers. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The steps of the Cooperative Problem Solving model include: the teacher divides students into groups of 3-4 students, the teacher explains the learning procedures, clarifies the problem, elicits opinions, evaluates and selects, and implements; 2) The advantages of the Cooperative Problem Solving model are that it makes education in school relevant to real life, helps students develop the habit of addressing problems in real life, fosters creative and comprehensive thinking processes in students, trains students to identify and conduct investigations, and provides students with opportunities to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts; 3) The disadvantages of the Cooperative Problem Solving model are that when students lack interest and do not believe that the problems being studied can be solved, they may become reluctant to try. Changing students' learning habits from passively listening to and receiving information from the teacher to actively thinking and solving problems on their own or in groups can be challenging, especially when it requires accessing various learning resources. The teaching and learning process using this method often requires a significant amount of time.
