Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of: (1) speed of innovation on competitiveness, (2) digital marketing on competitiveness, (3) speed of innovation on digital marketing, (4) speed of innovation on competitiveness through digital marketing. The analysis method used is path analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS). The object of this research is female tailor entrepreneurs in the MSME home industry in Makassar City, totaling 133 entrepreneurs. The research results show that: (1) speed of innovation has a positive but not significant effect on competitiveness, (2) digital marketing has a positive and significant effect on competitiveness, (3) speed of innovation has a positive and significant effect on digital marketing, (4) speed of innovation has a positive and significant effect on competitiveness through digital marketing.

Abstract

Background: Turnover intentions among Generation Z employees are a problem in human resource management, particularly in Islamic educational institutions. Despite upholding spiritual and ethical values, these institutions often face challenges in their implementation, such as destructive leadership and a hostile work environment. This complexity is compounded by Gen Z's sensitivity to psychological stress. Objective: This study analyzes the influence of destructive leadership and a conducive work environment on turnover intention among Gen Z employees in Islamic educational institutions, with self-affirmation as a mediator. Methods: A quantitative survey was conducted with 125 Generation Z employees working in Islamic educational institutions in Makassar. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling. Results: Destructive leadership decreased self-affirmation, thus increasing turnover intention. However, a conducive environment increased self-affirmation but had no direct effect on turnover intention. Self-affirmation significantly mediated both relationships. Conclusion: Gen Z employees in Islamic educational institutions tend to have intentions to leave if they experience toxic leadership and an unsupportive work environment. However, strong self affirmation can mitigate these negative influences. These findings have implications for human resource management in Islamic educational institutions to provide a supportive work environment, especially for the younger generation who are more sensitive to psychological issues.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh komitmen organisasi dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Komitmen organisasi mencakup tingkat keterlibatan dan loyalitas karyawan terhadap organisasi, sementara kompetensi mencerminkan kemampuan dan keahlian yang dimiliki karyawan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 32 responden. Hasil analisis data menggunakan teknik structural equation modeling (SEM) dengan pendekatan partial least square (PLS) yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara komitmen organisasi dan kinerja karyawan, serta antara kompetensi dan kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

The involvement of women in empowerment activities is closely related to the ability to improve the economic condition of the family. Innovative activities allow them to learn various skills to earn income and expand their network, because they are connected to opportunities and innovation. This service activity was carried out in the Tumappua Village, Pangkajene District, Pangkep Regency. The method used is a women's empowerment workshop in entrepreneurship. The result of this community service activity is the increased ability and skills of women in entrepreneurship

Abstract

Cyberbullying is a serious threat to students in the era of information technology that continues to develop. This socialization activity was developed by involving the active role of schools, teachers and students which focused on understanding the risks of cyberbullying and strengthening students' social skills. Through participatory methods which include presentation of educational material, discussions and questions and answers. The results of this activity showed a significant increase in students' understanding and their willingness to actively participate in preventing cyberbullying. The aim of this outreach activity is to create a safe, inclusive and supportive school environment, and to increase students' knowledge, understanding and awareness regarding online bullying in order to avoid cyberbullying as both perpetrators and victims.

Abstract

This socialization aims to increase public knowledge about the development of information media in the digital era. Currently, people in Pundata Baji Village are not used to using applications to do or remind them of the work they have to do. In this community service activity the author will introduce the smart fishing application. Before downloading the application, make sure you have a fisherman's card. In general, socialization participants do not have fisherman cards. The function of the fisherman's card is to make it easier to get assistance because fishermen are already registered in the database, ensuring subsidized fuel and so on. By socializing the application as an information medium, it is hoped that participants will be able to better understand the learning materials and be able to apply the smart fishing application media.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the capacity of teachers in implementing effective student behavior management strategies at the Trisakti Makassar Education Foundation. The main problem faced by the school is the suboptimal understanding and skills of teachers in handling deviant student behavior, so a structured educational approach is needed. The activity methods include identifying needs, implementing interactive workshops and training, mentoring implementation in the classroom, and preparing a guide to student behavior management strategies. The results of the activity showed an 85% increase in teacher understanding of the concept of preventive, corrective, and promotive strategies based on values ​​and empathetic communication. In addition, there were positive changes in teacher-student interactions and the creation of a more conducive classroom environment. This activity is expected to be a mentoring model that can be replicated in other schools, as well as supporting the formation of student character in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Scientific publication training is a strategic effort to improve teachers' professional competence, particularly in the areas of research and scientific writing. This activity was conducted at the UPTD SDN 22 Maros with the aim of helping teachers understand scientific writing techniques, journal publication procedures, and increasing their motivation to produce quality work. The training methods included lectures, discussions, hands-on practice, and mentoring. The results showed an increase in teachers' understanding of scientific paper structure, their ability to write articles, and their confidence in submitting articles to accredited journals. This activity is expected to contribute to the development of a culture of research and writing among elementary school teachers.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a significant contribution to the national economy, but still face major obstacles in the form of limited access to capital that hinders business development. This study aims to examine strategies that can be implemented by MSME actors in obtaining financing sources that are appropriate to their needs and business capacity. The capital alternatives analyzed include formal financing such as bank loans and non-bank financial institutions, as well as informal financing through cooperatives, venture capital, and digital-based financial technology. The results of the study indicate that effective strategies in obtaining capital include increasing financial literacy, preparing measurable business plans, strengthening business management, and utilizing financial technology to expand access to funding. By implementing these strategies, MSMEs have the potential to increase competitiveness, expand markets, and contribute more optimally to national economic growth.
