Abstract

This study aimed to measure the effect of work-family conflict on job satisfaction through organizational commitment (affective, continuence, normative) as mediation. Data collection was done by simple random sampling to 215 population of woman employee in a packaging industry in Tangerang. The returned and valid questionnaire results were 170 samples. Data processing was used SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that work-family conflict have not significant effect on job satisfaction, work-family conflict have significant effect on organizational commitment (affective, continuence, normative), and organizational commitment (continuence and normative) have mediating effect on relationship between work-family conflict and job satisfaction, except affective commitment have not significant effect on job satisfaction. This new research proposed a model for building job satisfaction among woman employee of packaging industry in Tangerang through enhancing organizational commitment and by manage the work-family conflict. This research could pave the way to improve woman employee readiness in facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

This study aimed to measure the effect of organizational justice and transformational leadership on organizational commitment of the lecturers of a privat higher education institution in Tangerang which are mediated by intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction. Data collection was done by simple random sampling to 151 population of employees. The returned and valid questionnaire results were 102 samples. Data processing was used SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that organizational justice have a positive and significant effect on intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction. Intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Organizational justice have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction have a significant effect as mediator between organizational justice and organizational commitment. This new research proposed a model for building the organizational commitment among the lecturers of a privat higher education institution in Tangerang through enhancing organizational justice with intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction as a mediator. This research could pave the way to improve the lecturer readiness in facing the era of education 4.0.

Abstract

This study aimed to measure the effect of dimensions of transformational leadership (i.e. idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration) on organizational commitment of the the lecturers of a privat higher education institution in Tangerang which are mediated by job satisfaction. Data collection was done by simple random sampling to 151 population of lecturers. The returned and valid questionnaire results were 102 samples. Data processing was used SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded: first, the dimensions of transformational leadership: idealized influence, intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration have positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, except inspirational motivation. Second, the dimensions of transformational leadership: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, and individualized consideration have not significant effect on organizational commitment, except intellectual stimulation. Third, job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Fourth, the dimensions of transformational leadership: idealized influence, intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration have positive and significant effect on organizational commitment through job satisfaction as mediation, but inspirational motivation have not significant effect on organizational commitment through job satisfaction as mediation. This study proposed a model for building the organizational commitment among the lecturers of a privat higher education institution in Tangerang through enhancing transformational leadership with job satisfaction as a mediator. This research could pave the way to improve the lecturer readiness in facing the era of education 4.0.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of charismatic leadership on the psychological safety climate and tacit knowledge sharing. This study also investigates the central role of psychological safety climate as a mediating variable between charismatic leadership and tacit knowledge sharing. This study adopted a simple random sampling method with 63 samples of teachers from a Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Banten. The results of this study indicate that charismatic leadership has a significant direct influence on the climate of psychological security and tacit knowledge sharing. Likewise, the psychological security climate has a significant direct influence on tacit knowledge sharing. This study also finds evidence that charismatic leadership has a significant indirect effect on tacit knowledge sharing through the mediation of a psychological security climate. Thus, the psychological safety climate acts as a partial mediator in this research model.

Abstract

This study aimed to measure the effect of work-family conflict on employee performance of the part-time employee of a packaging industry in Tangerang which are mediated by readiness for change. Data collection was done by simple random sampling technique and the returned and valid questionnaire results were 143 samples. Data processing was used SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that work-family conflict have negative and significant effect on the employee performance, but work-family conflict have a positive and significant effect on readiness for change. This study conclude also that readiness for change have a positive and significant effect on relationship work-family conflict and employee performance. Readiness for change as fully mediator. This new research proposed a model for building employee performance among the part-time employee of a packaging industry in Tangerang through enhancing work-family conflict management practice with readiness for change as a mediator. This research could pave the way to improve employee readiness in facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

Era informasi yang membuka ruang kompetisi secara bebas dan meluas telah menantang setiap organisasi bisnis, termasuk industry manufaktur untuk mengasah keunggulan kompetitifnya. Ikon utama keunggulan kompetitif itu adalah perilaku inovatif dari setiap pegawainya. Oleh karena  itu, tujuan  penelitian  ini  adalah menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan iklim etis terhadap perilaku inivatif pegawai dengan mengambil 126 pegawai pada industri manufaktur di Kabupaten Tangerang Banten dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Analisis dari penelitian ini menggunakan SEM (Structural Equation Model) dengan software SmartPLS versi 3.0 sebagai alat bantu statistik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional memberikan efek positif dan signifikan terhadap iklim etis, kepemimpinan transformasional memberikan efek positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku inovatif pegawai, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui mediasi iklim etis

Abstract

Data collection was done by simple random sampling technique and the returned and valid questionnaire results were 224 samples. Data processing was used SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that transformational leadership have not significant effect on the employee performance, but transformational leadership have a positive and significant effect on readiness for change. This study conclude also that readiness for change have a positive and significant effect on relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance. Readiness for change as fully mediator. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja karyawan industri otomotif di Tangerang yang dimediasi oleh kesiapan untuk perubahan. Pengumpulan data penelitian kuantitatif ini dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling dan hasil kuesioner yang kembali dan valid adalah 217 sampel. Pemrosesan data menggunakan metode SEMdengan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, tetapi kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan untuk berubah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan juga bahwa kesiapan untuk berubah memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan kinerja karyawan. Kesiapan untuk berubah sebagai full-mediator. Penelitian ini mengusulkan sebuah model untuk membangun kinerja karyawan di antara karyawan industri otomotif di Tangerang melalui peningkatan praktik kepemimpinan transformasional dengan kesiapan untuk berubah sebagai mediator. Penelitian ini dapat membuka jalan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan karyawan dalam menghadapi era revolusi industri 4.0. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of charismatic leadership on the psychological safety climate and tacit knowledge sharing. This study also investigates the central role of psychological safety climate as a mediating variable between charismatic leadership and tacit knowledge sharing. This study adopted a simple random sampling method with 61 samples of employees from five of MSME companies in Banten. With the help of SmartPLS 3.0 software, the results of this study indicate that charismatic leadership has a significant direct influence on the psychological safety climate and tacit knowledge sharing. Likewise, the psychological safety climate has a significant direct effect on tacit knowledge sharing. This study also found evidence that charismatic leadership has a significant indirect effect on tacit knowledge sharing through mediating the psychological safety climate. Thus, the psychological safety climate acts as a partial mediator in this research model.
