Abstract

Pengembangan Modul Flipbook Digital Berbasis STEM Materi Sistem Pencernaan Manusia untuk Meningkatkan Literasi Sains. Modul dalam bentuk flipbook digital didefinisikan sebagai media ajar guna mempermudah materi dan pembelajaran mandiri dengan media elektronik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul flipbook digital berbasis Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian pengembangan (R&D) ini menerapkan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). Untuk saat ini, belum ada penelitian mengembangkan modul yang berfokus meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains dengan pendekatan STEM. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu lembar validasi, observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, tes, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil kevalidan produk adalah 88,37% dikriteriakan sangat valid. Hasil kepraktisan pembelajaran adalah 91,9% dikriteriakan sangat baik. Hasil keefektifan nilai rata-rata pre-test dan post-test dengan uji N-gain adalah 0,64 dikriteriakan sedang. Hasil skor angket respon siswa adalah 82,34% menunjukkan sangat positif. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa modul flipbook digital yang dikembangkan dikatakan layak digunakan pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa SMP.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Darussholah yang mempunyai NSPP 510035090361 tersebut berdiri pada tahun 1900. Pondok Pesantren tersebut beralamat di Panti, Kabupaten Jember, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi dan obseservasi dengan pengasuh dan santri ternyata: (1) selama ini santri hanya mengkaji kitab-kitab kuning atau dengan kata lain tidak membekali santri untuk mempunyai keterampilan selepas mereka lulus dari pondok dan melanjutkan kehidupan; (2) santri mempunyai keterampilan meracik kopi tetapi tidak mengetahui cara memasarkannya sehingga selama ini kopi hanya dinikmati sendiri serta untuk tamu yang datang dan kebetulan pada saat kami bertamu ke sana dibuatkan kopi; (3) belum pernah ada pelatihan terkait strategi pemasaran khususnya terkait packaging dan branding bagi santri. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan solusi melalui pelatihan packaging dan branding untuk meningkatkan nilai jual kopi santri sehingga dapat membantu pemenuhan kebetuhan pondok pesantren secara ekonomi selain menumbuhkan jiwa entrepreneur bagi santri. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dari santri yang mengikuti pelatihan ini. Santri memiliki pemahaman dan keterampilan terkait strategi packaging dan branding sehingga dapat meningkatkan nilai jual kopi santri.

Abstract

The Higher Order Thinking Skills of students is still very weak. This is due to the lack of teaching materials that can be used to train higher thinking skills. The way to improve students' HOTS skills is to develop student worksheets. Student Worksheets (LKPD) are tools that facilitate student learning and lead to effective interactions between students and teachers. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of HOTS-based LKS development. The type of research used is the ADDIE model development research which has stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The HOTS-based LKPD validation results for vibration, wave and acoustic materials using the validation form reach an average percentage of six aspects or 92%, meaning that the conformity between the products produced and the LKPD production criteria is valid. The results of the HOTS-based LKPD practicum with vibration, wave and sound material using practicum study sheets reached an average of 89.44 and the category was very practical to use in the learning process. The results of the effectiveness of the HOTS-based LKPD for vibration, wave and sound material using the N-Gain value in the pre and post test of 0.55 are in the medium category, so that students' higher order thinking skills increase after using LKPD. Increase in HOTS-based LKPD during this period. The effectiveness of the product being developed was also determined by a survey of student responses consisting of interest, material and language reaching 95.17%, which means a very good category.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA di SMP selama ini masih cenderung bersifat konvensional dengan menekankan pada penghafalan dan ketergantungan pada buku teks, sehingga membuat kemampuan beragumentasi masih rendah dan minat peserta didik terhadap proses pembelajaran menurun. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis etnosains yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah siswa SMP. Metode pengembangan mengintegrasikan pendekatan etnosains, yang menggali pengetahuan lokal siswa sebagai titik awal untuk membangun pemahaman konsep ilmiah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan menerapkan model ADDIE, yang mencakup langkah-langkah analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari analisis kebutuhan, terungkap bahwa bahan ajar yang sedang digunakan masih kurang inovatif, sehingga menyebabkan penurunan minat peserta didik terhadap proses pembelajaran. Data presentase hasil validasi oleh ahli menunjukkan tingkat kevalidan sebesar 85,96% dari validator pertama, 87,87% dari validator kedua, dan 89,97% dari validator ketiga. Selanjutnya, data presentase kepraktisan bahan ajar dikategorikan sangat praktis, yakni 88,53%. Hasil repon siswa 85,5% untuk ketertarikan dan perhatian, 89,33% untuk kemudahan, dan 89,77% untuk bantuan belajar. Keefektifan LKPD berdasarkan peningkatan hasil tes kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah dengan N-Gain sebesar 0.6 (sedang). Berdasarkan validitas produk, LKPD berbasis etnosains menunjukkan bahwa produk LKPD berbasis etnosains layak untuk diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the validity, practicality and effectiveness of multirepresentation-based LKPD products in improving junior high school students' problem solving skills in science learning. The research method applied is Research and Development by applying the ADDIE development model which involves 5 stages. Techniques used in data collection involve observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests and documentation. Instruments to collect data include validation sheets, learning implementation observation sheets, test sheets, and questionnaire sheets. The average percentage of validity of multirepresentation-based LKPD reached 86.97%, which was categorized as valid. Meanwhile, the practicality score of multirepresentation-based LKPD has an average percentage of 86.45%, which is categorized as very practical. The effectiveness of multirepresentation-based LKPD measured through the N-gain formula is 0.53, including in the category of moderate success. In addition, student responses in the questionnaire reached an average percentage of 85.39%, which indicated that student responses were in the very good category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the development of multirepresentation-based LKPD is considered to have a fairly high level of validity, practicality and effectiveness in improving junior high school students' problem solving skills in science learning.

Abstract

Learning media conveys information between teachers and students to create an effective and efficient learning environment. The media delivery method used by the teacher can make students more accepting and understanding of the information appropriately obtained. Based on a survey conducted by PISA, science learning achievement in Indonesia is low. Ranking in the top 10 bottom can affect students' critical thinking because they need help applying their problem-solving knowledge correctly. One alternative to improve students' critical thinking skills is to make learning more interactive so that students' critical thinking skills can increase. Flipbook media expect to stimulate and enhance students' critical thinking skills. If students have mastered critical thinking skills, they can combine the knowledge they have acquired and express this knowledge.This study aimed to describe flipbook media that is valid, practical, and effective in improving students' critical thinking skills. The ADDIE development model is used as a research design because it has a systematic method and widely uses as a development model related to media production. The ADDIE stages start from analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques used in this study include validation methods, tests, and questionnaires. The instruments used were media validity sheets, materials, and questionnaires in the form of student responses after using flipbook media. Based on the research results, the developed flipbook media included valid, practical, and effective media for learning.

Abstract

This research examines the significant influence of using the problem-based learning model accompanied by multi-representation-based physics students worksheets on junior high school students' learning motivation. The study used a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group research design. The research subjects were students in class VIII of SMP Katolik Santo Petrus Jember, even during the semester of the 2022/2023 academic year in May, with the number of respondents being 52 students divided into experimental and control classes. Data collection uses test techniques in the form of pretest-posttest and non-test in the form of questionnaire sheets accompanied by data analysis techniques in the form of normality test, independent sample t-test, and a right-tailed t-test. The research results show that the use of the problem-based learning model accompanied by multi-representation-based physics students worksheets has a significant influence on increasing junior high school students' learning motivation.

Abstract

Education is an effort to educate the life of the nation. Operationally, education in the process through learning with the output of learning outcomes in the realm of knowledge, skills, and attitudes in this regard is related to the character that has become the problem of the Indonesian nation. With these conditions, the building of student character is needed in the millennial era, especially to build students' readiness in facing the challenges and developments in science and technology. Character building through the learning process can be done by using strategies integrated learning through-based DMKK models local wisdom. The chosen strategy integrated learning aims to have students have a learning experience from various sources with different perspectives so that students get a thorough thinking about a problem and can solve various problems. Through the DMKK model, the teacher does not have to be fixated on the steps of a particular learning model and the teacher is more flexible in teaching and learning activities and the use of media or tools available in the classroom. The DMKK model can provide opportunities for students to think deeply about a problem faced. The use of local wisdom in learning is able to provide experiences directly to students in accordance with the potential of the surrounding area. The method used in this is a study literature study on various related sources. The results of this study are expected to provide solutions related to the utilization of regional potential as a source of learning through an in-depth mindset so as to provide opportunities for students to solve problems from various perspectives while still having positive character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran GI-GI (Group Investigation – Guided Inquiry) terhadap hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah siswa SMP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Sempu dengan populasi siswa kelas VII semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penilaian hasil belajar ranah pengetahuan menggunakan lembar soal tes dan penilaian ranah keterampilan menggunakan non-tes berupa penugasan, sedangkan sikap ilmiah menggunakan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji t-test, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran GI-GI berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah siswa SMP.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to (1) examine the effect of using flipbooks on substance stress material on the learning independence of junior high school students and (2) examine the effect of using flipbooks on substance stress material on junior high school students' learning outcomes. The type of research used is experimental and the design used is quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. The place of research is SMP Negeri 1 Glenmore in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. Data collection techniques used, namely tests, observation of student skills, questionnaires, and documentation. Techniques to analyze the data using the t-test. Results of Sig. (2-tailed) on the t-test on learning independence is smaller than 0.05, which is 0.000. Learning outcomes in this study consisted of the realm of knowledge and skills. Learning outcomes in the realm of knowledge and skills were obtained by Sig. (2-tailed) on the t-test is less than 0.05 (Sig. < 0.05) which is 0.000.
