Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA di SMP selama ini masih cenderung bersifat konvensional dengan menekankan pada penghafalan dan ketergantungan pada buku teks, sehingga membuat kemampuan beragumentasi masih rendah dan minat peserta didik terhadap proses pembelajaran menurun. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis etnosains yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah siswa SMP. Metode pengembangan mengintegrasikan pendekatan etnosains, yang menggali pengetahuan lokal siswa sebagai titik awal untuk membangun pemahaman konsep ilmiah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan menerapkan model ADDIE, yang mencakup langkah-langkah analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari analisis kebutuhan, terungkap bahwa bahan ajar yang sedang digunakan masih kurang inovatif, sehingga menyebabkan penurunan minat peserta didik terhadap proses pembelajaran. Data presentase hasil validasi oleh ahli menunjukkan tingkat kevalidan sebesar 85,96% dari validator pertama, 87,87% dari validator kedua, dan 89,97% dari validator ketiga. Selanjutnya, data presentase kepraktisan bahan ajar dikategorikan sangat praktis, yakni 88,53%. Hasil repon siswa 85,5% untuk ketertarikan dan perhatian, 89,33% untuk kemudahan, dan 89,77% untuk bantuan belajar. Keefektifan LKPD berdasarkan peningkatan hasil tes kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah dengan N-Gain sebesar 0.6 (sedang). Berdasarkan validitas produk, LKPD berbasis etnosains menunjukkan bahwa produk LKPD berbasis etnosains layak untuk diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the validity of a comic based e-worksheets on human digestive system material in order to improve the collaborative abilities of grade VIII junior high school students. The research method used is development research, sometimes known as R&D. The ADDIE development model is applied, and it consists of five stages: analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Which of the five phases is used to test the validity of comic based e-worksheets is limited to three stages or up to the stage development. A validation questionnaire sent to three validation experts served as the study tool. Based on the validation data, we received an average score of 84% with a valid category.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of using Edmodo in science learning on student learning outcomes and critical thinking in learning organizational life systems. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control group design. Determination of the sample using the purposive sampling method. The research population includes all seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Glenmore Banyuwangi. The samples used were students of class VII A as the experimental class and class VII B as the control class. Methods of data collection using tests. The data analysis technique used an independent-sample t-test. The independent sample t-test on learning outcomes obtained a significance value of 0.047 less than 0.05, which means that there are differences in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class. The independent sample t-test of students' critical thinking skills obtained a significance of 0.013 less than 0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in critical thinking skills between the experimental class and the experimental class. Edmodo can be used as an alternative media for online learning during the pandemic and classroom learning. In its implementation, teachers must have good classroom management skills so that learning can take place and provide good learning outcomes.Pengaruh Edmodo dalam pembelajaran IPA terhadap hasil belajar dan berpikir kritis siswaPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan Edmododalam pembelajaran IPA terhadap hasil belajar dan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA pada materi sistem organisasi kehidupan. Jenis penelitian digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan posttest only control group design. Penentuan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Glenmore Banyuwangi. Sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Teknik analisisa data menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil uji independent sample t-test pada hasil belajar diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,047 lebih kecil dari 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji independent sample t-test kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa diperoleh signifikansi  0,013 lebih kecil dari 0,05 yang berarti bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas eksperimen. Edmodo bisa dijadikan alternatif media dalam pembelajaran online selama masa pandemi maupun pembelajaran di kelas. Dalam implementasinya, guru harus memiliki kemampuan mengelola kelas yang baik agar pembelajaran dapat berlangsung dan memberikan hasil belajar luaran yang baik.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the effect of career development coaching on teacher performance through a meta-analysis approach. The research was conducted using a systematic literature review of 10 relevant scientific articles, which were examined to identify key findings related to teacher performance. The selected studies consisted of indexed international journals, accredited national journals, and national publications that met methodological standards. The results of the meta-analysis indicate that career development coaching has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Career development programs are proven to enhance professional competence, work motivation, job satisfaction, and the effectiveness of instructional implementation. Several studies also reveal that motivation and job satisfaction function as additional variables that strengthen the relationship between career development and teacher performance. Career development coaching is a strategic factor that consistently contributes to improving teacher performance. Structured, sustainable, and teacher-oriented career development programs are capable of enhancing professionalism and the overall quality of learning.
