Abstract

History learning is an efforts for maintaining maritime culture as part of the nation's identity. However, the maritime paradigm is still not an important issue for most Indonesians. Therefore, the learning of maritime history needs to be improved in order to strengthen national integration. One of the obstacles to learning maritime history is the lack of learning media about maritime history. This study aims to develop a maritime history learning media of the Sultanate of Banten based on an android application. The research method used is research and development (RND) with a 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop and Dessiminate). The development of this media was carried out on the basis of the needs of history teachers and class X students in Banten for the learning media of maritime history of the Sultanate of Banten. The results of this study produced a learning media that has been created starting from the framework, its design, and the content of the material which is packaged into an Android Application product. The learning media for the Maritime History of the Sultanate of Banten based on the Android Application that was developed received a positive response from learning experts, linguists, media experts, teachers and students. The media trials for teachers and students show that the learning media developed is in accordance with the needs of students and teachers, providing student motivation in learning and making learning more enjoyable.

Abstract

Abstract Entrepreneurial competence is one of the important competencies to master as one of the keys to preparing a generation that is ready to face the challenges of the 21st century. The importance of entrepreneurial competence has not been fully realized to be integrated into learning and has not been matched by the use of learning models that lead to strengthening entrepreneurial competence in students. This study aims to determine the differences in the effectiveness of Social Action models based on Creative Pedagogy and Project Based Learning to increase entrepreneurial competence. This research is an experimental research pre test-post test control group design. The research respondents were SMP 1 Pakem Sleman DIY students with a total of 32 students in class A as the experimental class and 32 students in class D as the control class who were selected by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using tests, questionnaires, and observation sheets. The results of the study show that the Social Action model based on Creative Pedagogy is more effective in increasing social-creativepreneurship competencies. Keywords: learning model, social action, creative pedagogy, project based learning, entrepreneurial competence, social studies Abstrak Kompetensi kewirausahaan merupakan salah satu kompetensi penting untuk dikuasai sebagai salah satu kunci menyiapkan generasi yang siap menghadapi tantangan abad 21. Pentingnya kompetensi kewirausahaan belum sepenuhnya disadari untuk diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran dan belum diimbangi dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran yang mengarahkan pada penguatan kompetensi kewirausahaan pada diri peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbedaan keefektifan model Social Action berbasis Creative Pedagogy dan Project Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kompetensi kewirausahaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen pre test-post test control group design. Responden penelitian adalah peserta didik SMP 1 Pakem Sleman DIY dengan jumlah 32 peserta didik kelas A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 32 peserta didik kelas D sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, angket, dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Social Action berbasis Creative Pedagogy lebih efektif meningkatkan kompetensi social-creativepreneurship. Abstract

The research aimed to have an in-depth study about the development of South China Sea issue that involved countries such as China, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia Brunei Darussalam and the ASEAN’s role as a Regional Organization in that conflict. In general, this study wants to answer the question about “how is ASEAN’s approaches in order to reconcile South China Sea Conflict peacefully?”. To examine the problem, researcher conducted a study by using historical method that includes four research steps namely collecting of written source through literature study (heuristics), source criticism, interpretation or source analysis and historiography. Researcher also using concepts to simplify the analysis, of which are a regional organization concept, a concept of interest, an international dispute concept, a conflict concept, diplomatic concept, and the law of the sea concept. A rationalisation for this South China Sea study, because the issue remains dynamic and it is difficult to find a solution. Many perspectives regarding claims that were made by countries around the South China Sea and the potentials aspects that embedded could disrupt peace and stability in the region’s security. These issues become challenging for ASEAN. The resulting study found that: there are numbers of a mechanism such as an informal, semi-formal and formal mechanism. However, those mechanisms have not been able to resolve the conflict. Several efforts have been made to prevent military conflicts. In its development, the South China conflict has shown a more positive progress.

Abstract

Creative thinking and critical thinking are one of the thinking skills that are often studied and developed to optimize thinking abilities. The initial basis of initial abilities is imagination. However, many people interpret the meaning of imagination as an unscientific fantasy. Using the literature review method, it was found that there is an ability that every human being has, including elementary school children, namely imagination. Creative imagination as a whole can be interpreted as an attempt to prove something about a person by taking several forms of existing goals, not only for the creator himself but also for other people. (RIBOT, 1906). We detail this effort to prove as a series of thought processes at the stages of having new ideas, flexibility, authenticity, expressing opinions, evaluating arguments, new ideas and making conclusions. This process combines critical thinking and creative thinking skills with rearranging indicators as needed. Humans cannot only use creative thinking skills or critical skills, everything goes hand in hand to create ideas and conclusions.

Abstract

. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the green consumer behavior profile of elementary school students in the city of Bandung, to what extent they apply the concepts of green consumer behavior and how potential elementary school students implement green consumers in their daily lives. Students with good green consumption behavior whose actions are always in harmony with nature and are responsible for the surrounding environment, consider the effect of their consumption activities on the environment which is reflected in how these students search for, buy, use, evaluate, and dispose of products. This study uses a quantitative approach with the survey method, with the instrument in the form of a Green Consumer Behavior questionnaire. The population used in this study were public elementary school students in the city of Bandung, the samples were taken using probability sampling technique. Sampling of members of the population is done randomly and members of the population are considered homogeneous (simple random sampling). The research procedure consists of three stages, namely: (1). preparation phase. At this stage it is carried out by compiling research instruments, compiling research instruments; (2). Data Collection Stage. This stage begins by distributing questionnaires to respondents in the form of a Google form. Respondents filled out/answered a questionnaire in the form of a Google form via their mobile phone or laptop/PC, then the respondent's data was sent automatically via the researcher's Gmail account for further processing and analysis; and (3). Completion Stage. The completion stage is the final stage of the research, namely researchers processing and analyzing research data to draw conclusions. The results of the research from 400 student respondents with 6 questions distributed showed that 1 question was included in the very good category, 2 questions were included in the good category and 3 questions were included in the sufficient category. These questions are an illustration of the profile of green consumer behavior in students. The profile of green consumer behavior of elementary school students in the city of Bandung shows that the behavior of choosing/buying food/goods that do not harm the body is very well done, while the behavior of bringing cutlery and drinking from home and sorting wet/dry waste is well done by school students Base.

Abstract

The problem of human concern for the environment is a problem in life. To support the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals SDGs launched by the UN at points 4 and 6 regarding quality education to ensure equality and quality of inclusive education to increase sustainable learning opportunities for all humans, as well as at goal point 6, namely regarding adequate water and sanitation. Worthy, through education, it is hoped that it can improve the quality of human life, including human knowledge regarding the environment. Development programs for the SDGs goals implemented in elementary school level education units are Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH). The importance of monitoring and evaluating Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) implementation activities in elementary schools to achieve the goals of the SDGs. This article aims to determine the extent of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) implementation in elementary schools. The research method uses literature studies from researchers through several related research journals. According to several research sources, the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) program in elementary schools has played an essential role in dealing with hygiene problems and health behavior among students. Still, monitoring and ongoing evaluation from program stakeholders are needed to optimize the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) program in schools to achieve the SDGs goals.

Abstract

Legal protection for children is a very crucial aspect in efforts to ensure the fulfillment of human rights, especially for children. Children are immature people and must be protected as strictly as possible. The implementation of this legal protection still faces various challenges, including a lack of awareness among the public regarding their rights and also the existence of a culture that can sometimes conflict with the principles of human rights. This more integrated and sustainable effort from various parties, including the government and the general public, can protect a right that is carried out effectively. Education and public awareness regarding important things to protect children's rights, such as improving an environment that can develop and also the overall welfare of children.

Abstract

The tumpe-based character education method is a strategy that is expected to be effective in instilling values ​​and character education in elementary school students. This approach is implemented at SDN Negeri 1 Toili, Banggai Regency with a focus on cultivating the character of Trustworthiness (Integrity). The Tumpe method is a participatory and experiential learning approach that involves students in the entire process. The aim of this research is to find out what the trustworthy character education strategy is using the Tumpe method at Toili 1 Elementary School, Banggai Regency. This research method is a qualitative descriptive method, namely a method that relies on observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the strategy of instilling character in school-age students is very important to become their educational capital in the future. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya menjaga lingkungan dan memiliki sikap kepedulian terhadap lingkungan alam yang rusak serta makhluk hidup lain yang terancam kehidupannya akibat dari aktivitas manusia. Perilaku kepedulian peserta didik terhadap lingkungan di kelas IX-B tergolong dalam kategori rendah, hal tersebut dilihat dari permasalahan yang ditemukan yaitu banyaknya sampah disekitar kelas baik itu di dalam ruangan maupun di luar kelas. Oleh karena itu peserta didik perlu meningkatkan kecerdasan ekologis terutama pada aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan dan partisipasi peserta didik terhadap lingkungan. Pembuatan konten kreatif mengenai kearifan ekologis masyarakat kampung adat Ciptarasa merupakan salah satu upaya untuk membangun kecerdasan ekologis peserta didik. Kajian utama penelitian ini adalah identifikasi nilai-nilai kearifan ekologis masyarakat kampung adat Ciptarasa, hasil identifikasi dibuatkan konten berupa video yang di upload ke media sosial youtube sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 1 Pabuaran kelas IX-B. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa masyarakat kampung adat Ciptarasa memiliki kearifan ekologis yang dapat dijadikan konten kreatif youtube sebagai media belajar IPS meliputi nilai pelestarian hutan, nilai pelestarian sungai, mitigasi bencana, dan pola konsumsi ramah lingkungan. Implementasi penggunaan konten kreatif youtube tentang kearifan ekologis masyarakat kampung adat Ciptarasa dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 1 Pabuaran menunjukkan hasil yang bagus. Peserta didik memiliki rasa peduli terhadap lingkungan dan alam dan berempati terhadap mahluk hidup dan alam. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan supaya dijadikan rujukan bagi pengembangan pembelajaran IPS yang menggunakan konten kreatif youtube berbasis budaya diberbagai sekolah.
