Abstract

This study investigates Tahfizh Al-Qur’an learning through the At-Taisir method at Abinnur Al-Islami Islamic Boarding School, Panyabungan Utara, Mandailing Natal. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and tests, then analyzed by data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal: (1) The learning process follows systematic planning, implementation, and evaluation. Students repeat verses and memorize gradually, ensuring retention. (2) Memorization improvement emphasizes Tajweed, Fashahah for recitation fluency, and reinforcement through writing, oral repetition, prayer recitation, and the Manzil method. (3) The quality of Tahfizh learning improved significantly after applying the At-Taisir method, seen in increased knowledge, skills, and character development. (4) The method’s effectiveness is supported by clear objectives, appropriate strategies, comprehensive planning, adequate facilities, structured programs, efficient implementation, and supervision systems. Overall, the At-Taisir method effectively enhances memorization and the quality of Tahfizh Al-Qur’an learning, contributing to both academic and spiritual development of students.

Abstract

Education has aspects that are more complex than merely learning, teaching, or transferring knowledge. Education must have clear concepts, objectives, methodologies, and programs. Islamic education aims to develop human potential, both outwardly and inwardly, to form a fully integrated Muslim personality. Laduni knowledge is the type of knowledge obtained through divine inspiration after the purification of the soul. As explained by Imam Al-Ghazali in Ihya Ulumuddin, laduni knowledge is described as knowledge from God that directly enters the human heart without any intermediary. This knowledge is considered the most profound and full of wisdom compared to knowledge gained through ordinary learning processes. The education of laduni knowledge is inseparable from Islamic education, which is based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah. The objectives of laduni knowledge education include the formation of noble character, nurturing the soul, instilling virtues, fostering politeness, and preparing humans for both worldly and eternal life. Islamic education also balances spiritual and worldly orientations, including cultivating scientific enthusiasm and curiosity. There are two methods of acquiring knowledge: human instruction (at-ta’allum al-insaniyyah) and divine instruction (at-ta’allum ar-rabbaniyyah). Those who attain laduni knowledge tend to require little effort, face no significant difficulties in learning, and achieve great results with minimal effort.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of digitalization that affects students' lives, with schools striving to maintain morals through religious education using traditional Islamic texts (kitab kuning) to preserve the pesantren culture. The focus of this research includes: 1) The stages of teaching kitab kuning in the preservation of pesantren culture at Pondok Pesantren Uswatun Hasanah, 2) The strategies for teaching kitab kuning for this purpose, and 3) The implications of this teaching on the preservation of pesantren culture. This research is qualitative with a multisite approach, using in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation techniques. The results show that teaching kitab kuning begins with lalaran nadhom, followed by the presentation of material by the teacher according to the lesson plan (RPP), and ends with quizzes and homework. The teaching strategy involves selecting books according to class levels, the qualifications of teachers, and the methods of sorogan, bandongan, and wetonan. The aim of the education is to instill good morals in students, with competency tests and remedial measures for those who have not met the target. The implications of this teaching include the success of the institution in shaping students with good morals and proper worship, thereby ensuring the preservation of pesantren culture in the millennial era.

Abstract

Negative behaviors among teenagers—such as fighting, alcohol abuse, and criminal activity—are increasingly prevalent and have become a matter of public concern. This trend reflects a weakness in character education and a lack of influence from religious education, particularly from parents and community leaders. This study aims to develop an Islamic Religious Education (PAI) educational module for parents and community leaders to address negative youth behaviors in Paran Napa Dolok Village, Barumun Barat Subdistrict, Padang Lawas Regency. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) based on the 4D model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The results indicate that the developed module is "valid" (media validator: 74.2%, material validator: 85%) and highly practical (parents: 82.9%, community leaders: 83%). The module contains content that is easy to understand and relevant to community needs. Collaboration between parents and community leaders has proven effective in shaping adolescent character. However, challenges such as limited resources and diverse backgrounds still need to be addressed through continued support from various parties.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas strategi pembelajaran bagi anak dengan learning disabilities (LD) dalam konteks Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1405 Parapat, Kabupaten Padang Lawas. Anak dengan LD umumnya mengalami kesulitan membaca (disleksia), menulis (disgrafia), dan berhitung (diskalkulia), yang termasuk ke dalam masalah prestasi akademik. Selain itu, mereka juga sering menghadapi hambatan perseptual, gangguan atensi dan hiperaktivitas, kesulitan memori dan metakognitif, hingga masalah sosial-emosional dan motivasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, di mana data diperoleh melalui kata-kata dan observasi, bukan angka atau statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan utama siswa adalah sulit memahami materi, rendahnya minat membaca, serta lemahnya konsentrasi dan daya ingat. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, guru PAI menerapkan berbagai strategi, seperti melakukan pengamatan langsung, pendekatan personal, pemberian motivasi, kerja sama dengan orang tua, penggunaan metode drill, penambahan jam belajar di luar kelas, serta penyediaan sarana dan prasarana pendukung. Namun, guru juga menghadapi sejumlah hambatan, baik internal (kurangnya motivasi, kesulitan berpikir, konsentrasi rendah, perbedaan tingkat kecerdasan) maupun eksternal (dukungan keluarga, lingkungan, serta keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran). Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran guru PAI dalam merancang strategi adaptif untuk mendukung keberhasilan belajar siswa dengan LD di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk Entrepreneur di Pesantren Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah 2 Lumut Kampung Mandailing Lk III Kecamatan Lumut dan Pesantren Tahfidz Agrowisata Darussa’adah Desa Sipange Kecamatan Tukka Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah. Dan aspek-aspek pemberdayaan kemandirian ekonomi di Pesantren Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah 2 Lumut Kampung Mandailing Lk III Kecamatan Lumut dan Pesantren Tahfidz Agrowisata Darussa’adah Desa Sipange Kecamatan Tukka Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk-bentuk entrepreneur di Pesantren Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah 2 Lumut ada enam unit usaha, yaitu usaha toserba, kantin, laundry, wartel, pangkas, dan perkebunan karet. Sedangkan bentuk-bentuk entrepreneur di Pesantren Tahfidz Agrowisata Darussa’adah ada dua unit usaha yaitu, usaha peternakan (sapi, kambing, domba), dan toko pakaian muslim/muslimah. Pemberdayaan kemandirian ekonomi di Pesantren Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah 2 Lumut terdiri dari aspek kesejahteraan guru dan karyawan, beasiswa bagi santri yang berprestasi, pembangunan sarana prasarana pesantren, dan kegiatan-kegiatan pesantren. Sedangkan pemberdayaan kemandirian ekonomi di Pesantren Tahfidz Agrowisata Darussa’adah terdiri dari aspek kebutuhan

Abstract

This study explored the transformation of Dayah institutions in Aceh, focusing on their change from traditional religious schools to a modern Islamic educational institutions, particularly in the post-conflict era. The integration of modern education into Dayah has sparked a dynamic contestation between tradition and modernity, reflecting broader social and political changes in Aceh. This study also emphasized Dayah's resilience and continued influence on post-conflict reconciliation and contemporary religious practices in Aceh. Meanwhile, this research employed qualitative research with a type of literature review. The findings showed that the transformation of Dayah has formed an integrated educational system that combines traditional Islamic teachings with modern education, fostering the development of science and technology. The Dayah system has successfully cultivated a society with a profound, comprehensive understanding of Islam and has contributed to the cultivation of tolerant individuals by alienating students from radical thought patterns.
