Abstract

Adanya permasalahan mengenai limbah rumah tangga yang dimana menjadi permasalahan di lingkungan sekitar seperti adanya penyakit yang muncul. Isu permasalahan yang terjadi menjadi tanggungjawab banyak masyarakat termasuk siswa-siswi SMK Negeri 2 Gunung Talang. SMK Negeri 2 Gunung Talang merupakan sekolah jenjang SMK yang berlokasi di Jl. Raya Solok-Padang KM 25, Batang Barus, Kec. Gunung Talang, Kab. Solok Prov. Sumatera Barat. Dengan lokasi yang cukup jauh dan kurangnya ilmu mengenai limbah rumah tangga, maka diperlukan edukasi dan praktik isu tersebut kepada para siswa-siswi melalui metode pelaksanaan yang telah disiapkan. Metode praktik pencegahan isu tersebut dilakukan dengan mengajak para siswa-siswi untuk membuat karya yang menarik dari bahan anorganik dengan ide masing-masing serta dikumpulkan kepada kami untuk diberikan penilaian. Melalui metode praktik ini, siswa-siswi yang mengikuti zoom dan praktik pengolahan sudah merasa paham akan permasalahan limbah rumah tangga yang disampaikan serta memulai membuat karya dari bahan anorganik dan dikumpulkan dengan ketentuan yang berlaku

Abstract

Pada tahun 2020 masih terdapat 5 juta dari 14,76 juta wajib pajak yang tidak taat dalam menjalankan kewajiban membayar pajak. Kurangnya edukasi mengenai pajak menjadi salah satu penyebab masih ada warga negara yang tidak taat membayar pajak. Sehingga program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran pajak di SMA Mondial Batam. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah program edukasi pajak dari pemerintah belum merata dan para pelajar masih terbatas pengetahuannya tentang pajak. Maka program pengabdian ini dapat menjadi solusi untuk membantu serta membangun pemahaman yang tepat tentang pajak. Dalam penelitian ini pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, survei dan wawancara. Metode analisa data yang digunakan adalah dengan pendekatan gabungan antara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah terdapat perubahan positif terkait pemahaman siswa-siswi di SMA Mondial Batam terhadap pajak berdasarkan survei melalui google form yang dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan sosialisasi. Selain sosialisasi terdapat modul pembelajaran, video edukasi serta quiz card sebagai luaran hasil pengabdian.

Abstract

Pengetahuan pajak dan moral pajak di Indonesia dinilai cukup rendah. Program inklusi pajak di kalangan pendidikan dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran pajak. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengukur konsep dan empati pelajar SMAS Harapan Utama terhadap pengetahuan pajak, moral pajak dan penerapan inklusi pajak dalam Pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran pajak. Penelitian ini juga dimaksudkan untuk menguji pengaruh moderasi inklusi pajak terhadap kesadaran pajak. Kegiatan SEPORA (Social Empowerment Program) merupakan tugas proyek mata kuliah Kewarganegaraan yang ditujukan untuk pengabdian masyarakat serta mengembangkan atau membentuk kepribadian karakter. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan kepada pihak yang dituju dan melakukan webinar untuk membentuk karakter taat pajak melalui sekolah dengan penggunaan media. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, menunjukkan bahwa masih ada pelajar yang belum memiliki pengetahuan tentang definisi pajak; wajib pajak; dampak tidak membayar pajak; sanksi dan manfaat pajak sehingga berimbas pada kesadaran pajak. Webinar inklusi kesadaran pajak ini dapat menguatkan karakter nasionalis pelajar, yaitu memupuk kesadaran pajak dan sikap positif sebagai penutur bahasa Indonesia. Melalui pelaksanaan SEPORA (Social Empowerment Program) ini, pelajar SMA Harapan Utama diharapkan mampu memahami tentang membudayakan pajak melalui program Inkluasi Kesadaran Pajak.

Abstract

Having unlimited needs and wants, humans as economic beings will struggle to meet their needs. In this modern era, shopping for human needs and desires has become easier to do with the availability of various stores and malls to online retail. This ease of shopping has increased interest in shopping for unlimited material needs and indulges Indonesians to continue making purchases in order to develop uncontrolled compulsive buying behavior. Therefore the authors aim to examine the effect of materialism on compulsive buying mediated by the use of credit cards and impulsive buying. The object of this research is credit card users in Batam. Sampling was done by giving a google form questionnaire to credit card users in the city of Batam. Demographic data of respondents were then analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 25.0 and analysis of the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable was carried out using Smart PLS version 3.2.8. The results of this study indicate that the variables of materialism, use of credit cards and impulsive buying have a significant effect on compulsive buying.

Abstract

Indonesia's Islamic finance in recent years has shown a positive increase, supported by the majority of people who are Muslims so as to encourage the progress of the sharia industry, including sharia banking. One of the Islamic banking services is gold installment, which has become an investment choice during COVID-19 period. due to the relatively stable value of gold so as to avoid fluctuating rupiah values. This study aims to analyze the reasons investors make the decision to invest in gold installments in Islamic banks. The research was conducted using a qualitative method to produce a descriptive picture for the research. Data was collected using purposive sampling method through interviews with 3 sources from customers and management of Bank Syariah Indonesia. The results of the study show that service is one of the reasons for investing in gold installments. Easy, flexible procedures and a professional code of ethics make it comfortable for customers to invest. Another reason for investing in gold installments is product promotion, social influence from the people around who can determine decision making and personal goals of each individual.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the correlation between perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and social influence to the intention of customers to use mobile payment. The survey was conducted toward Z Generation with basic mobile payment information. The research data was collected using a purposive sampling technique, in which researchers took the Z generation in Batam City with the condition that they had used an e-wallet. The final sample of the research is 187 respondents. The analysis technique used was partial least squares (PLS) to evaluate the relationships of the research model. The results showed that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and social influence have a positive significant influence on people intention in using e-wallet

Abstract

Warung Zikry merupakan sebuah usaha yang bergerak di bidang penjualan sembako yang sudah berjalan selama 3 tahun. Kendala yang ditempuh oleh Warung Zikry selama menjalankan kegiatan bisnisnya berupa belum adanya sistem POS (Point of Sale) yang berfungsi sebagai alat bantu dalam mencatat data transaksi pembelian dan penjualan persediaan barang secara lengkap. Metodologi yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian terapan yang bertujuan untuk memecahkan masalah praktis dunia modern. Hasil dari penelitian tersebut berupa sebuah aplikasi POS (Point of Sale) berbasis web dengan nama “SiKasir”. Implementasi penelitian tersebut memberikan banyak dampak positif dimana pemilik Warung Zikry sebagai pengguna merasakan kemudahan dalam melakukan pengisian ulang stok barang karena dapat langsung memantau jumlah persediaan barang yang sudah dicatat dalam sistem.

Abstract

Policies in company regulations are important so it is necessary to update the policies in a company regulation. We can notice this when there are reforms in the arrangements in the employment cluster, namely the Omnimbus law or Law no. 11 of 2020 concerning job creation. The renewal of these regulations certainly triggers issues that affect the welfare of workers in a company, starting from the arrangement of wages, severance pay, work agreements for a certain time or a lifetime contract. Some of the problems found when carrying out this practical work activity program are the absence of renewal of policies in a company regulation, so in this case the author thinks he wants to carry out this practical work activity by providing assistance in the preparation of new company regulations and fair for employees in the company.

Abstract

COVID-19 is a virus have developed into a global pandemic. This has resulted in millions of employees around the world currently working from home. Virtual Private Network (VPN) can be used to provide employees access to office data from home. This study analyzes the differences between L2TP/IPsec and SSTP VPN protocols to choose a VPN technology that is suitable for use according to user needs. This is done by building the VPN network in according to the device requirements, QoS, security, and scalability parameters using Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method. The results of this study indicate that both types of VPNs have their respective advantages and disadvantages in terms of performance, security and scalability. The results of this study are expected to provide an overview for users to consider the type of VPN that suits their needs.

Abstract

The Institute for Courses and Training is a non-formal education that provides various special training to educate students' skills. However, there are things that often become obstacles for prospective students, namely being confused about choosing courses according to their preferences. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to design an online course application with a recommendation system for the Content-based Filtering method. In addition, this research also applies the cosine similarity algorithm to determine courses that are similar to the course history that has been accessed by the user. The dataset used to run the recommendation system algorithm was taken from the Kaggle website entitled “Udemy Course” with a total of 3,682 records. The final result of this research is an online course application that can provide course recommendations based on the highest similarity value from the cosine similarity algorithm.
