Abstract

The ability of students to apply the concepts of statistics in problem solving is low. It is not only caused by factors lecturers but also socio-economic, environmental, family, campus environment, and so on. These factors need to be assessed so that learning objectives can be achieved optimally. Issues that will be examined are: 1) What is the factor that can affect difficulty of learning statistics 1 in the fourth semester students of mathematics education courses and science teacher education faculty Pekalongan University Academic Year 2012/2013? 2) How do these factors influence the achievement motivation of fourth semester students of mathematics education courses and science teacher education faculty Pekalongan University Academic Year 2012/2013? The study population was all students of fourth semester mathematics education courses. The sampling technique used is proportional sampling technique and simple random sampling. Data analysis techniques used in this study is a factor and multiple regression analysis (multiple regression). The results showed that the factors that affect difficulty learning statistics 1 are internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include the factors physical / health and psychological factors. The external factors include: a) family environment, b) the campus environment, and c) society.

Abstract

The use of multimedia learning today is an absolute demand in the world of education. However, there are still many schools that have not implemented multimedia in the learning process. Learning that is done in the classroom is still less effective, motivation and ability to understand students' concepts are still lacking. Learning multimedia will be developed with the SwiSHmax application to get valid criteria to be able to overcome the problems that exist in schools. The type of research used is Research and Development (RnD) research. The development steps used in this study adapt the development steps of ADDIE starting from the analysis phase, the design stage, the development stage, the application stage, and the evaluation stage. The validation questionnaire results showed the average validator rating reached 4.22, which means that the multimedia that was developed was included in the valid category. The results of the calculation of the practicality value of learning multimedia were 87.97%. Based on the results of the validation and practicality of learning multimedia, it can be concluded that this learning multimedia is included in the appropriate category for use in learning.

Abstract

The purposes of the research were to develop and produce an augmented reality based learning media product of used proper. This research was conducted to 30 third grade students of Social Science Major at Senior High School 4 of Pekalongan. This research used Research and Development (R&D) method with ADDIE model. The conducted steps were analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data collection instruments used within this research were observation, interview and questionnaire. There were 3 questionnaires: 1) Student’s need questionnaire; 2) Validity questionnaire; and 3) Practicality questionnaire. The data analyses used were learning media validity analysis and students’ response practicality analysis. Based on the result of the research, the average total aspect from all validators reached 4,10. It showed that the developed learning media could be categorized as valid. Meanwhile from the students’ response questionnaire showed that the practicality value reached 92%. It indicated that the learning media used was very practical. Therefore, it can be concluded that the learning media is feasible as it is valid and very practical. The learning media can be utilized as a learning source for students in three dimension materials.Keywords: Learning Media, Mobile Application, Augmented Reality

Abstract

BUILDING LEARNERS’ CHARACTER WHICH CONSISTS OF SOFT SKILL AND HARD SKILL IS NOT EASY. ITS PROCESS TAKES A LONG TIME AND THE UNDERSTANDING OF PARENTING IS ONE OF THE WAYS. PARENTING IN KAMPUNG PABEAN WAS STILL BEING A BIG QUESTION. THE IMPORTANCE OF THE TIME TO FULFILL FAMILY’S NEED WAS THE MAIN REASON TO ANSWER THAT. LEARNERS’ EDUCATION LEVEL AND THE TOTAL OF DROP OUT STUDENTS WAS ONE OF THE EFFECTS OF PARENTING ROLE IN THE FAMILY. THE OBJECTIVE OF THE RESEARCH WAS TO DESCRIBE HOW THE PARENTS’ PARENTING TOWARD DROP OUT CHILDREN IN KAMPUNG PABEAN KELURAHAN PADUKUHAN KRATON LOR. THIS RESEARCH USED DESCRIPTIVE QUALITATIVE DESIGN. THE SUBJECT OF THIS RESEARCH WAS 41 PARENTS WHO HAD DROP OUT CHILDREN IN THE AGE OF 12-18 YEAR. THE RESULT OF THE RESEARCH WAS FROM 41 PARENTS WHO HAD DROP OUT CHILDREN IN THE AGE OF 12 TO 18 YEARS OLD, THERE WERE 31 PARENTS APPLIED PERMISSIVE PARENTING AND 10 OF THEM APPLIED DEMOCRATIC ONE. THE RESEARCHERS SUGGEST THAT THE FINDING OF THE RESEARCH CAN BE USED TO IMPROVE THE PARENTS’ UNDERSTANDING ABOUT PARENTING, SO THEY CAN GIVE MORE MOTIVATION FOR THEIR CHILDREN TO HAVE A HIGHER EDUCATION LEVEL.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan hal yang sangat menentukan masa depan anak. Namun demikian tidak setiap anak mendapatkan kesempatan mengenyam proses pendidikan tersebut. Hal ini yang dialami oleh sebagian masyarakat di Pabean, Padukuhan Keraton Lor. Ada sebanyak 39 keluarga yang memiliki anak putus sekolah yang dikarenakan pola asuh orang tua yang masih kurang tepat. Dengan demikian peneliti menyusun buku mengenai pola asuh orang tua agar dapat memotivasi anak dalam menempuh pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan buku pedoman pola asuh “Anak Sekolah Bapak Bungah” dapat mengubah mindset orang tua mengenai pentingnya pendidikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 39 warga yang memiliki anak putus sekolah. Proses pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah perubahan pola pikir orang tua tentang pendidikan. Dari 39 sampel yang ada, 75% dengan jumlah 29 orang tua merasa sangat perlu mengubah pola asuh mereka dari Permisif menjadi Demokratis. Dengan demikian penerapan buku pedoman pola asuh “Anak Sekolah Bapak Bungah” dapat mengubah mindset orang tua mengenai pentingnya pendidikan.

Abstract

Penyebaran virus Covid-19 mengakibatkan pembelajaran dilakukan secara online. Penggunaan media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu solusi yang digunakan guru dalam menyampaikan materi. Media yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah LKS dan video pembelajaran. Media dapat membantu siswa dalam mempermudah memahami materi yang diberikan oleh guru. Selain itu, media dapat menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa, sehingga kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa menjadi lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan WaG terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pekalongan yang terdiri dari 7 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t melalui SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran WaG berbantuan LKS dan video pembelajaran menghasilkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis yang lebih baik dibandingkan pembelajaran WaG berbasis tugas. Abstract

The  research objective  is obtain the  effectiveness  of  learning mathematics with  PBL method and learning  instrument  that  oriented  character  building better  than  common teaching  method  applied  in  the  class.  The  effectiveness  of  learning is  marked: a)  the achievement  of exhaustiveness indivudually  problem solving skill test exceed  for KKM and  classical completeness exceed  75%,  b)  motivation and learning  process  skill  has  a positive  effect on the  problem  solving skill,  c)  the  average of  problem  solving skill test experiment class is better than the control class. Based on the result of this research, it can be  concluded  that  learning mathematics with  PBL  method and learning  instrument  that oriented  character  building    better  than  common  teaching  method  applied  in  the  class. Thus,  to  improve    problem  solving  skill    on  elementary  statistic’s  learning  and other materials with  the same characteristics suggested PBL method with  learning instrument that oriented character building.Keywords : Learning, Character, Problem Solving

Abstract

Adanya covid-19 menyebabkan pemerintah megeluarkan kebijakan pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara daring. Dengan perubahan sistem pembelajaran secara mendadak menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi guru. Kemudian muncul permasalahan di kalangan para guru yaitu kurangnya kemampuan guru untuk menguasai dan memanfaatkan teknologi elektronik dan membuat media pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu akan dilaksanakan pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mempraktikkan materi pembuatan media pembelajaran dan media penilaian. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa pelatihan yang diselenggarakan selama 8 kali pertemuan. Metode pelaksanaan dalam pelatihan ini adalah metode demonstrasi dan praktik. Setelah dilakukaan praktik tiap Hasil yang diperoleh adalah 26 guru sudah dapat mempraktikkan materi yang disampaikann dengan baik. Dengan demikian pelatihan ini sebaiknya dilanjutkan dengan materi yang lebih mendalam dan yang mengikuti kegiatan ini
