Abstract

The rapid technological developments in the telecommunications world increase the need for reliable data access in order to exchange information can be faster and more stable. To resolve this, a mobile broadband technology was developed called LTE Release 10 or LTE-Advanced (LTE-A). LTE-Advanced is a 3GPP release 10 technology where bandwidth usage maximized through Carrier Aggregation (CA). In this study, the design of the LTE-Advanced network in Pekanbaru City with the Carrier Aggregation Intra-Band Contiguous Method uses 1800 MHz frequency band with 5 MHz and 20 MHz bandwidth. The design was carried out based on capacity and coverage planning and then simulated with Atoll Software. The parameters analyzed in the simulation are Signal Level, User Connected and Throughput and then be compared with planning without carrier aggregation.Keywords : Carrier Aggregation, LTE-Advanced, Signal Level, Throughput, User Connected

Abstract

This script discusses about FTTH network design planning analyzes each respective faculty buildings which exist at the University of Riau. Fiber To The Home (FTTH) using a broadband Internet connection that uses fiber-optic cables, optical-based systems can deliver a wide array of digital information, such as voice, video, data, known as the triple play. Riau University located in panam has 7 faculty reached its 700 acres. The results of the design of the Broadband network Fiber To The Home of the University of Riau need Optical Network Terminal as much as 209 fruit, the Optical Distribution Point used totaled 34 fruit and Optical Distribution Cabinet 1 alone is enough backup area University of Riau with all types of ODC 144 24 core capacity.Keywords : FTTH, University of Riau

Abstract

The development of information technology has ampact on changes in human life. One of them is Cloud Computing technology. Cloud Computing is computing model that it giveaway saat to access services by offering resources suci as hardware, software, and data storage as user guidance services. SMPN 1 Karimun is one of the Junior High Schools in Karimun Regency, still uses conventional storage namely computer storage or tiger storages. So, the ampun of data cause a lack of effeciency and effectiveness in accessing data. As a technology like cloud computing. Cloud computing has function as a server for digital-based storage, renew using cloud computing can storage performance in SMPN 1 Karimun to knot it any attack of DoS ( Denial of Service ). The research methodology is to design a cloud computing system by testings function in the application with the quality of existing network. The average value of throughput without DoS attack is 21,21 Mbit/s, the average throughtput value two PCs using DoS attack is 18,76 Mbit/s while four PCs is 17,21 Mbit/s. Avarage result of packet loss without DoS attack is 0,046 %, the average of packet loss value using two PCs DoS attack is 0,082 % while using four PCs is 0,104 %. Average result of delay value without DoS attack is 0,000354 ms, the average delay value using two PCs is 0,000475 ms while using while four PCs is 0,000517 ms. Abstract

Mikrotik has the ability to improve network performance through the RouterOS device. Junior High School named Tunas Bangsa uses a router that has not been configured properly so it has an impact on poor network quality. This is evidenced by the results of the Quality of Service (QOS) measurement from a throughput parameter which is included in the "bad" category based on the TIPHON throughput standard.The solution to improve network performance is design bandwidth management using the Per Connection Queue (PCQ) method. The method is designed for network condition that have many clients where the distribution of bandwidth can be done evenly because PCQ has complexity in determining parameters by grouping based on source and destination traffic.After the configuration done, the QOS calculation is carried out again to prove that the network has gained significant changes. The results show that the throughput has increased based on the TIPHON standard, it is included in the "good" category. Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept that utilizes the internet as a communication system to build intelligent interactions between people and objects around it. One of its application is in the field of animal husbandry. Along with its development, one of the farms that developed in Indonesia is laying hens. Many farmers still use the manual method to calculate egg production. This method is not efficient since it requires a lot of human resources to monitor and calculate the amount of egg production. This study presents the monitoring of chicken egg production based on IoT using Arduino microcontroller. Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) sensor was used as an input for detecting the chicken eggs, Espressif Smart Connectivity Platform (ESP) as the WI-FI module, Real Time Clock (RTC) as the timer and SD Card Module for data storage. Abstract

Long Term Evolution Advanced (LTE-A) is a network technology that allows LTE networks to run on two different frequencies. This network speed of LTE – A can reach up to 1 Gbps. In Indonesia there are limitations of network frequency allocation. So, network design options are made by combining frequency and bandwidth on the network. The purpose of this study is to design an LTE-Advanced network with the Carrier Aggregation (CA) method. CA is a method that can combine two or more components of a carrier with maximum bandwidth of 20 MHz. In Kampar Regency itself there is no implementation of the LTE-Advanced network. In this research the design of the LTE-A network uses the interband-non-contiguous CA method. After getting the results, a network comparison is made between using CA or without the CA method based on planning by coverage and planning by capacity. The frequency bands used are 900 MHz and 1800 MHz with a total bandwidth of 15 MHz. Parameter test results show that. Coverage by signal level in non-CA method at 900 MHz frequency 5 Mhz bandwidth has a value of 99.83% on signal level >80 dBm, while at 1800 MHz frequency 10 MHz bandwidth has a value of 99,85% at the signal >80 level dBm. On the other side Coverage by signal level on CA frequency 900 & 1800 MHz with a total bandwidth of 15 MHz is superior at 99.97% with a signal value of >80 dBm. So that it can be concluded that the design with CA techniques has superior value compared to Non-CA.Keywords: Advanced LTE, carrier aggregation, planning by coverage, planning by capacity, bandwidth, signal level.

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept to exchange data through the internet with objects that can be controlled remotely. Oyster mushrooms are white mushrooms that have a curved shape and have nutritional value that is rich in protein, vitamins, carbohydrates andminerals. Problems that occur in Omah Cendawan often experience crop failure, caused due to lack of care such as maintaining temperature, humidity and pests that attack oyster mushrooms.This system was designed to help oyster mushroom farmers to find out the temperature and humidity of the oyster mushroom. The tools used in this study consisted of ESP8266, DHT22,LCD, power bank. DHT22 is used to detect temperature and humidity of the air by sending notifications to farmers through the blynk application. The thingspeak.com is used to viewmonitoring data from sensors. The test results show, the time needed to be able to send notifications blynk about 1-3 seconds, while the time needed to send and receive data to thingspeak.com about 30 minutes. Abstract

Digital image compression is an important method for data transmission and data storage more efficient. There are two compression techniques used are; lossless compression and lossy compression. In lossless compression technique using Huffman and LZW whereas lossy compression technique using the DCT and Wavelet Haar. At any given algorithm image insert 2 input object image is varied according to four dimensions (320x480, 480x640, 640x720, 720x1080) and 4 format (BMP, GIF, PNG and TIFF). the result of applying the algorithm generates the MSE  will be used as a comparison. The result of the application of simulation shows the lossy compression format GIF has the largest MSE of the other formats with MSE value is in the range of 16,4 to 20 dB.    Keywords : Lossy Compression, Lossless Compression, DCT, Haar Wavelet, Huffman, LZW

Abstract

3GPP sets are the standard for the latest wireless communications technology for Long Term Evolution (LTE). It has been used to meet the needs of consumers today. But only few of development city have implementing it. The rest of the city still not implement it. One of them is the taluk kuantan city. This region has not been deployed by this technology. Due to that reason the design has been made to choose this city. This paper proposes 900 MHz LTE Frequency Division Duplex(FDD)design and simulation through software radio planning atoll. The design process is done by comparing several design scenarios, with reference to research on the previous research paper with the same frequency. The simulation results has obtained in the form of the following parameter i.e. signal level, Carrier to Interference-Noise Ratio (CINR) downlink, CINR uplink and monte carlo analysis. The results were compared to above mentioned parameter that has been published in the previous research result. The number of cells required at least 83 eNodeB. The signal coverage level able to achieve ≤ -85 dBm which better than previous research result (≤-110 dBm), while downlink signal level CINR ≥ 2,479 dB And CINR uplink signal level has ≥ 17 dB. As for the monte carlo simulation able to achieve 81,3%. Finally for throughput uplink and downlink able to achieve ≥ 1 Mbps which is same as previus research result.Keywords: LTE, Atoll, FDD, 900MHz

Abstract

Information technology is now much developed. With the ease of obtaining this information, it causes other obstacles, namely important information or data can be misused by other parties who are not responsible for their own benefit. So that a network security system becomes one of the important aspects to maintain the validity and integrity of data and ensure the availability of services for its users. The system should be equipped with security that allows it to be safe from all kinds of attacks and as well as intrusion attempts by irresponsible parties. With the IDS (Intrusion Detection System) administrator will detect the attack by an intruder so that notification of an attack can be identified quickly through a notification Telegram Sistem IDS (Intrusion Detection System)will provide notification or warning through application telegram if there are attacks on computer networks are detected in the system, so administrators networkable to find out the occurrence of the attack as soon as possible This system can detect attacks that occur on a computer network by scanning a number of sources and traffic that occurs within the network, so that all illegal events can be seen throughactivities monitoring using the application used to monitor the network, the IDS System. This will provide notifications or warnings via the Telegram application if an attack on the computer network is detected in the system, so that theadministrator networkcan find out the occurrence of the attack as quickly as possible.Of the 5 tests that have been carried out 80% successful 20% failed, it can be stated that the test was successfully carried out.Keywords: IDS (Intrusion Detection System), Snort, Telegram , Computer network.
