Abstract

Developing creativity is a long term process that should be started early. Appropriate stimulations needed to determine 80% brain development in a first 6 years of human life. Parents are the first environment where the chidren could grow their creativities and other potential. The research’s goal is to gain the information about the effects of parenting role towards 5-6 years old children creativity in Serang Banten. This research using survey methods with a sample size of 36 children and their parents. Sample taken randomly from all Kindergartens in 6 Kecamatan in Serang Banten. Data were analyzed using SPSS one way ANOVA. The study showed that children creativity from permissive parenting is higher than authoritarian and authoritative parenting, despite this does not indicate a significant effect between parenting style towards creativity. This may happen because the parents can not simply implementing one parenting in order to optimize creativity. Parents should implementing parenting style equally and it must be adjusted to the level of development and the uniqueness of each child. Research hypothesis is rejected may occur due to other factors. Other factors which thought to affect the development of children’s creativity such as parent education background, parents’ job, child birth order, and sex. Thus, researchers can conclude that the findings in the study showed no significant effect between parenting with 5-6 years old children creativity in Serang Banten.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine 1) the reading ability of children aged 5-6 years at TKIT Gugus Bintang 165 Tangerang. 2) the learning process uses cantol roudhoh picture card media to develop reading skills of children aged 5-6 years at TKIT Gugus Bintang 165 Tangerang. 3) the process of evaluating the ability to read children aged 5-6 years through the media card cantol roudhoh at TKIT Gugus Bintang 165 Tangerang. This research was conducted in May 2016. With the research location in TKIT Gugus Bintang 165 Tangerang Banten. The subjects of this study were children aged 5-6 years, totaling 15 children. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. Data collection techniques through observation, field notes, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Data validation is done by extending the observation, increasing research persistence, triangulation, checking members. Based on data analysis, it states that the development of reading skills of children aged 5-6 years at TKIT Gugus Bintang 165 Tangerang Banten develops well. This can be observed from 8 indicators that researchers use as a reference. Can also be observed in the learning process at school, the development of children's reading skills including: there are children who are able to read their own names completely and correctly, children are able to distinguish vowels and consonants, children are able to connect images with writing, and children able to group images that have the same prefix sound.

Abstract

Creativity is the ability that everyone has to create or produce something new through his imagination. The imagination generated by one’s thinking can lead to creativity. Beams are one of the educational game tools generally made of wood. The usage on creativity of children aged 5-6 years. Research method using quasi experimental method with a sample of 40 children in the experimental class and 40 children in the control class. Data was analyzed using SPSS 22. purpose of the study was to determine the effect of mediThe results showed that the percentage of independent statistical sample test value of significance post-test of creativity for experimental class and control class that is 0,109 0,05 mean data of creativity post-test for experiment class and control class that is H1 = there is a significant influence on the creativity of children 5-6 years. The mean value of experimental class is mean = 32,8958, standard deviation = 4,88262, standard error mean = 0,70475, mean value mean control class mean mean = 20,2917 standard deviation = 3,77539, standard error mean = 0,54493 obtained ttable = (0,05/2 ; 96 -2 – 1) = (0,025 ; 93) = 1,989 ttable with dk = 24 + 24 + 2 = 50 and a =0,05 1,109, thitung = 14,148H1 : received. Therefore, the child’s creativity ability can be said to increase when given treatment in the ezperimental class and the child raises the developmental indicator independently. It can be concluded, that through learning with the media beam can improve the creativity of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten al-khairiyah cilegon-banten.

Abstract

Creativity is a mental process of children who are able to produce new works that come from ideas, combinations of data and new information from the surrronding environment. This study aims to determine the effect of kinetic sand play on the creativity of children aged 5-6 years. The study was conducted in the B group of PAUD Rajawali District Tangerang-Banten. The method used in this study is experimental research with a village nonequivalent control group design with a sample of 14 children. Group B1 with a sample of 7 children as the eksperimental class and group B2 with a sample of 7 children as the control class. The instruments used in this study were observation guidelines with data analysis using the SPSS Statistics 22 program. The results showed that the average creativity ability of the control class children at the pretest was 40.00, the experimental class the pretest was 44.27 and the difference in average children’s creativity ability at posttest in the control class is 1.43% and the difference in average children’s creativity ability at posttest in the experimental class is 2.86%. Based on the results of the data obtained, it can be concluded that there is an effect of kinetic sand playing on the creativity of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Rajawali Tangerang-Banten.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of child creativity and the effectiveness of various models of learning in early-childhood in developing the creativity of children aged 5-6 years after the city of Serang, Banten. The research was conducted from April to July 2017. The research method used was the mixed method with the research population is all children aged 5-6 years in Serang city, Banten. The sample was 120 children from 30 PAUD institutions, consisting of two groups, which were 60 children from early-childhood with teacher-centered learning model and 60 children from PAUD with student-based learning model. The results showed that the creativity level of children aged 5-6 years in Serang city is categorized as high and there is no significant difference of creativity of children aged 5-6 years after the model of student-based learning with teacher-centered learning model. However, the level of creativity of children with student-based learning model is higher than the teacher-centered learning model. This study concludes that student-based learning model (center, area, group, or angle) is more effective in developing the creativity of children aged 5-6 years. Abstract

Pengabdian ini akan fokus pada pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah sebagai lumbung pangan keluarga. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat dilakukan di 2 Desa/Kelurahan, yaitu Kelurahan Kasunyatan, Kecamatan Kasemen, Kota Serang dan Desa Kubang Jaya, Kecamatan Petir, Kabupaten Serang. Target dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan transfer ilmu dan teknologi kepada kelompok mitra, dalam hal ini Kader PKK, sebagai salah satu elemen masyarakat agar tercapai ketahanan pangan keluarga. Selanjutnya para kader PKK ini akan mentransfer ilmunya kepada keluarga lain di desanya agar setiap keluarga mampu mencukupi pemenuhan pangan keluarga pada jenis sayuran. Pelaksanaan pengabdian terdiri dari : Pelatihan bercocok tanam di pekarangan rumah, dengan penyuluhan dan praktek langsung serta monitoring/pendampingan sebagai bentuk keberlanjutan kegiatan. Kegiatan ini melibatkan Dinas Pertanian Kota Serang untuk pelaksanaan pengabdian di Kelurahan Kasunyatan, dan Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Perikanan Kabupaten Serang untuk pelaksanaan di Desa Kubang Jaya, Kecamatan petir Kabupaten Serang. Selama masa taman, tim pelaksana pengabdian melaksanakan proses mentoring/pendampingan. Sehingga, hasil dari memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah sebagai lumbung pangan ini dapat dirasakan oleh semua warga desa dan ketahanan pangan keluarga bagi desa mitra dapat tercapai.

Abstract

Matematika perlu dikenalkan sejak dini karena anak usia dini berada pada tahap golden age yang mudah dan cepat menyerap informasi baru. Matematika sangat membantu anak dalam berinteraksi dan menjalankan aktivitas sehari-hari. Tujuan penelitian ini ingin mengetahui pelaksanaan pengenalan matematika pada anak yang berada di Daycare Bocah Emas, FKIP Untirta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan analisis data berupa redukasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Tehnik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Hasil temuan penelitian menyatakan bahwa Daycare Bocah emas telah mengenalkan matematika dengan menggunakan alat dan bahan yang dimiliki berupa alat permainan Montessori, kartu-kartu angka, penggunaan bahan-bahan loosepart serta menggunakan lingkungan sekitar kampus. Matematika yang distimulasi berupa keterampilan dan konsep matematika yaitu mencocokkan, mengelompokkan, urutan dan pola, konsep bilangan, konsep geometri, dan konsep ukuran. Dalam hal pengenalan konsep data dalam grafik belum pernah dilakukan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Daycare Bocah Emas telah mengenalkan matematika pada anak usia dini melalui berbagai macam kegiatan dengan menggunakan berbagai sumber yang ada di kampus seperti lingkungan kampus, alat dan bahan yang tersedia baik alat Montessori maupun bahan-bahan loosepart.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh media pop up book terhadap kemampuan berbicara anak. Penelitian dilakukan pada kelompok B dengan usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak-Kanak Kecamatan Baros, Kabupaten Serang-Banten khususnya di TK Kasih Bunda dan TK Mangga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equevalent control group design dengan sampel 30 anak, kelas B1 pada TK Kasih Bunda sebanyak 15 anak sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas B1 pada TK Mangga sebanyak 15 anak sebagai kelas kontrol.             Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 2 minggu, instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa pedoman observasi dengan analisis data menggunakan SPSS 22. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan berbicara anak kelompok eksperimen saat pretest sebesar 38,47 dan untuk kelompok kontrol rata-ratanya sebesar 40,33. Sementara itu hasil posttest pada kelompok eksperimen rata-ratanya sebesar 42,93 % dan kelompok kontrol rata-ratanya menjadi 40,73%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media pop up book terhadap kemampuan berbicara anak.  Kata Kunci : Media Pop Up Book, Kemampuan Berbicara, Anak Usia 5-6 TahunABSTRACT. This study aims to determine whether or not influence of pop up book media on  children’s speaking ability. The study was conducted on group B aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten, Baros District, Serang-Banten Regency, especially in Kasih Bunda Kindergarten and Mangga Kindergarten. The method used in this study is a quasy-experimental study with a non-equevalent control group design with a sample of 30 children, class B1 at Kasih Bunda Kindergarten as many as 15 children as the experimental class and class B1at Mangga Kindergarten as many as 15 children as control class. The research was conducted for 2 weeks, instrument used in this study showed that the average speaking ability of the experimental group children t the pretest was 38,47 and for the control group the average was 40,33. Meanwhile, the posttest results in the experimental group average 42,93% and the control group average 40,73%. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan latar belakang masalah yang timbul karena anak kesulitan mengingat kosakata yang sudah diajarkan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pada penggunaan media YouTube terhadap pengenalan kosakata bahasa Inggris anak usia 5-6 tahun di Kelurahan Cilebut Timur-Kabupaten Bogor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode ex-post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian sebanyak 150 anak, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan memakai Purposive Sampling yang berjumlah 30 sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner atau angket. Data yang didapatkan dari kuesioner lalu dikumpulkan dan di analisis menggunakan bantuan program IBM SPSS 22. Pengujian hipotesis yang dipakai memakai uji regresi linear sederhana karena hasil data yang telah diuji berdistribusi normal. Dari hasil analisis tersebut menjawab tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu didapatkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,675 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima maka terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara media YouTube terhadap pengenalan kosakata bahasa Inggris anak usia 5-6 tahun di Kelurahan Cilebut Timur-Kabupaten Bogor dan nilai koefisien determinasi atau R Square 0,456 artinya besarnya nilai kontribusi variabel media YouTube dalam mempengaruhi variabel pengenalan kosakata bahasa Inggris anak usia 5-6 tahun sebesar 45,6%.

Abstract

Pendidikan identik dengan belajar. Belajar merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui sesuatu yang sebelumnya tidak diketahui. Salah satu cara belajar ialah membaca. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui minat membaca anak antara anak laki-laki dengan anak perempuan berdasarkan kemampuan membaca pada Paket A Kesetaraan Kelas 1 selama masa pembelajaran jarak jauh di Mobil Kelas Berjalan Kak Seto. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian yaitu anak Paket A Kesetaraan Kelas 1 SD Mobil Kelas Berjalan Kak Seto. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Tahapan analisis data menggunakan model Miles and Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca peserta didik laki-laki lebih baik daripada peserta didik perempuan yang menyebabkan minat membaca peserta didik laki-laki sudah muncul daripada minat membaca peserta didik perempuan. Temuan ini juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh orang tua dan tutor.
