Abstract

The balance of powers inherent in this relationship has been of particular significance in Indonesia because of the size and island nature of the country, the large and unbalanced ditribution of the population and mareked ethnic, religious and ecological differences that exist in the different areas. Not suprisingly, different periods have seen defferent approaches to meeting the requirenments of goverment in such a diverse counry.

Abstract

As a nation state, indonesia has three model of democration, namely liberal democration, ?Democrary Terpimpin ? and ? Democrary pancasila? . liberal democration has a good initiation on democratization, an grow-up until the success story of the General Election on 1955. After that, the democration become complicated ad arena of conflic of interest. Both of ? Democrary Terpimpin? and ? Democrary Pancasila? . in the prsent time, democration and democratization in indonesia har to develop because the people do not has social deisciplines, as a one of the basic principle of democration practices.

Abstract

Political parties, although they have been existed for periods of time, they do not still develop yet because there is no material-based social structure. Thus, when they came to reformation era, political parties still needed symbols as medium to lead people in structuring action system and ways in interpreting political reality so that it will be fit to the party's interest. I this context, ideology become very important in building relationship between party and the people. Therefore, dynamics and political affiliation which is more on party and people are still determined by both cultural equality and divergence in certain groups of people.
