Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the kinds and dosage of organic fertilizers on the growth and yield of jack bean cultivated on the grumosol soil. This research was conducted in March - July 2017 at the UPTD Balai Pengembangan Perbenihan Tanaman Pangan dan Holtikultura unit Kerja Gading,  Jl. Yogyakarta – Wonosari km 33, located in Gading, Playen, Gunung Kidul district, Special Region of Yogyakarta. It has an altitude of 200 meters above sea level with a daily average temperature of 27.7 oC and relative humidity of 80 - 85%. This research was a field experiment arranged with factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) 3 replications. The first factor was the kinds of organic fertilizer consisting of chicken manure, goat manure, cow manure, and green manure of gliriside. The second factor was the dosage of organic fertilizer consisting of 10, 15, and  20 ton.ha-1. Observation variables included plant height, number of leaves, number of flowers.plant-1, dry weight of plants, number of pods.plant-1, and seed weight.ha-1. Data were analyzed by variance at 5% level. The difference between treatments will be tested by the DMRT Multiple Range Test at a level of 5%. The results indicated that there was no interaction between the treatment of kind and dosages of organic fertilizers on the observation variables.Chicken manure application the growth of jack bean plant was not significantly different from the treatment of cow manure and green manure of gliriside, but it could produce better growth than goat manure treatment. Chicken manure yields the seed weight.ha-1 of jack bean plants not significantly different from green manure treatment, but could produce growth than goat and cow manure treatment. Dosage 10, 15, and 20 ton.ha-1 resulted growth and yield of jack bean not significantly different

Abstract

This study aims to determine the frequency of weeding and N fertilizer application to weed growth and rice yield (Oryza sativa L.) varieties involved in the salibu system. The research was conducted at the Self-Supporting Agriculture and Rural Training Center P4S Lestari Makmur, Jl. Wates Km.12 Pollaman of Argorejo Village, Sedayu District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The research location at altitude is ± 149 meters above sea level, temperature 24.5 - 32.5 ℃, with rainfall 1500 - 2000 mm per year, air humidity 65 -95%. The study was conducted in March - June 2018. The study used experimental methods Randomized Completly Block Design (RCBD) with factorial 2x3. The first factor was the weeding frequency (P) at one time (P1) and twice (P2). The second factor was the frequency of fertilization (N) which consists of three levels, namely the one-time fertilization frequency (N1), twice the fertilization frequency (N2), and three times the fertilization frequency (N3). Total combination of 2x3 = 6 combinations. Each treatment consisted of three replications of five plant samples. Observation variables included number of tillers, plant height, weed types, weed fresh weights, weed dry weight, and harvested dry grain weight per hectare. Analysis of results with variance at 5% real level, followed by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) and level of 5%. the results of this study showed no interaction between the frequency of weeding and N fertilizer application, but the frequency of weeding showed a significant difference in the number of tillers and weed types, whereas the application of N fertilizer showed significant differences in weeds fresh weight variables, weed dry weight, and yield of harvested dry grain per hectare

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of soy bean fermented liquid wasteas a growth supplement to growth, yield and durability of straw mushroom. Theresearch was conducted in Kepuhan village, Argorejo, Sedayu, Bantul, altitude 88m above sea level (dpl), regosol soil type, with soil pH 5.5-6,7, average temperatureis 26-320C, and rainfall ie 1,654.00 mm / th.The research was arranged in 1Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 3 replications. The application oftempe waste on the was consists of 5 levels concentrations of 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%and 100%. The variables observed included the number of primordia, fruit bodydiameter, fruit body length, fresh weight of fruit body, weight of mushroom perharvest, total weight of harvest, total number of mushroom per harvest, aroma andtexture or hardness of straw mushroom. Analyze varians significant and continuedDuncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5% real level. The results show that thereis a real effect ofapplication of soy bean fermented liquid waste yield and durabilityof mushroom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi pupuk organik cair daun lamtoro (Leucaena leuchocephala) dan takaran pupuk kambing terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli – November 2018 di lahan sawah di Dusun Sumber Gamol, Balecatur, Gamping, Sleman, dengan ketinggian tempat ± 94 meter di atas permukaan laut,dengan kelembaban udara 28 – 97% dan pH tanah 5,6 – 6,0. Penelitian ini disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap dengan pengaturan petak terbagi dan 3 ulangan. Petak utama adalah konsentrasi larutan pupuk organik cair daun lamtoro terdiri dari tiga level 10%, 20%, dan 30%. Anak petak adalah takaran pupuk kandang kambing terdiri dari tiga level 1,5 kg petak-1 (setara 10 ton ha-1 ); 2,25 kg petak-1 (setara 15 ton ha-1 ); dan 3 kg petak-1 (setara 20 ton ha-1 ). Variabel yang diamati meliputi ; jumlah bintil akar per tanaman, persentase bintil akar aktif, bobot segar brangkasan, bobot kering brangkasan, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun per tanaman, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong isi per tanaman, bobot polong kering angin per tanaman, bobot polong kering angin ha-1 , bobot 100 biji kering angin, laju pertumbuhan relatif, dan indeks panen. Analisis dengan sidik ragam dengan jenjang nyata 5%, dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda DMRT (Duncan’s Multiple Range Test) pada jenjang nyata (α) 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tida ada interaksi antara konsentrasi POC daun lamtoro maupun takaran pupuk kandang terhadap semua variabel yang diamati. Konsentrasi pupuk organik cair tidak mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan hasil, demikian juga takaran pupuk kandang kambing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk kandang ayam dan pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil edamame (Glycine max (L) Merrill). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-Maret 2020 di Dusun Padukuhan Krandohan, Desa Pendowoharjo, Kecamatan Sewon, Kabupaten Bantul, Daerah Istimewah Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilakukan dengan percobaan faktorial 3 x 3 dan satu kontrol disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) diulang 3 kali. Faktor pertama takaran pupuk kandang ayam yaitu : 5 ton per hektar (P1), 10 ton per hektar (P2), 15 ton per hektar (P3). Faktor kedua dosis NPK yaitu : pupuk NPK 100 kg per hektar (D1), pupuk NPK 150 kg per hektar (D2), pupuk NPK 200 kg per hektar (D3) dan Kontrol (20 ton per hektar pupuk kandang sapi + urea 50 kg per hektar) (P0D0). Variabel pengamatan yang diamati terdiri atas : jumlah bintil akar, jumlah bintil akar aktif, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot daun, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, umur muncul bunga, umur jadi buah, jumlah polong tanaman, bobot polong tanaman, bobot polong per hektar, bobot 100 polong, bobot brangkas per petak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi interaksi pada beberapa variabel bobot daun, umur muncul bunga, jumlah polong tanaman, bobot 100 polong, dan bobot brangkas per petak. Variabel yang menunjukkan tidak adanya interaksi terdiri dari variabel jumlah bintil akar, jumlah bintil akar aktif, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, umur jadi buah, bobot polong tanaman, dan bobot polong per hektar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pada pupuk kandang ayam 15 ton per hektar dan pupuk NPK 200 kg per hektar memberikan pengaruh yang baik terhadap hasil edamame.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk NPK dan konsentrasi mikrobia rhizosfer terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil koro pedang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-Juli 2020 di Desa Wiladeg, Dusun Karangnongko, Kecamatan Karangmojo, Kabupaten Gunungkidul dengan lokasi ketinggian tempat 150-200 m dpl. Jenis tanah adalah grumusol dengan pH tanah 5,0-8,0. Suhu wilayahnya berkisar antara 23-31 oC. Kelembaban nisbi udara berkisar 80-85%. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan 2 faktor perlakuan. Faktor I : dosis pupuk NPK (50 kg/ha (N1), 100 kg/ha (N2), 150 kg/ha (N3) dan 200 kg/ha (N4). Faktor II: konsentrasi mikrobia rhizosfer (2% (P1) dan 4% (P2). Data yang diamati pada fase vegetatif adalah jumlah daun, jumlah bintil akar, bobot segar tanaman, dan bobot kering tanaman, sedangkan pada fase generatif adalah jumlah polong per tanaman, bobot polong per tanaman, bobot segar tanaman per hektar, bobot biji per petak dan bobot biji per hektar. Data dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam, untuk mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf α = 5%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis NPK dan konsentrasi mikrobia rhizosfer tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan koro pedang. Interaksi antara dosis NPK dan konsentari larutan mikrobia rhizosfer terjadi pada variabel bobot polong per tanaman, bobot biji per petak dan bobot biji per hektar. Pemberian NPK dengan dosis 200 kg/ha dan konsentrasi mikrobia rhizosfer 4% meningkatkan bobot polong per tanaman dan menghasilkan bobot biji per hektar tertinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh macam pupuk organik dan konsentrasi indigenous rhizobakteria yang tepat pada budidaya koro gajih (Dolichos lablab L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Dusun Kemiri, Kelurahan Purwobinangun, Kecamatan Pakem, Kabupaten Sleman, ketinggian tempat 950 m di atas permukaan laut (dpl). Jenis tanah regosol, dengan pH tanah 5,6 - 6,0. Kelembaban nisbi udara berkisar 74 - 87%. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) faktorial 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah macam pupuk organik terdiri dari tiga aras yaitu pupuk kandang sapi 1,6 kg, pupuk kascing 0,80 kg, dan pupuk guanofosfat 15 g. Faktor kedua konsentrasi indigenous rhizobakteria bambu terdiri dari tiga aras, yaitu 0%, 5%, dan 10%. Variabel pengamatan meliputi panjang akar, bobot segar akar, bobot segar tajuk, jumlah daun, panjang batang, bobot segar daun, bobot polong, jumlah polong, berat kering akar, bobot kering tajuk, berat kering daun, bobot polong per hektar. Analisis data menggunakan sidik ragam pada jenjang nyata 5% dan dilanjutkan dengan DMRT pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada interaksi antara perlakuan macam pupuk organik dan konsentrasi indigenous rhizobakteria bambu terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil polong muda tanaman koro gajih. Penggunaan pupuk organik tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman koro gajih. Pemberian konsentrasi indigenous rhizobakteria bambu tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil polong muda tanaman koro gajih.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compost and liquid organic fertilizer concentration on the growth and yield of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.). The research was conducted in Mandungan 1 Hamlet, Margoluwih Village, Kec. Seyegan, Kab. Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The research method used a factorial Completely Randomized Block Design (RAKL), with three replications, 10 combinations so that 30 plant plots were obtained from all combinations and replications. The first factor tested was compost S1 = compost 5 tons per ha, S2 = compost 10 tons per ha, S3 = compost 15 tons per ha. The second factor tested was liquid organic fertilizer C1 = 0.1 percent concentration, C2 = 0.2 percent concentration, C3 = 0.3 percent concentration and control = Urea 30 g, KCl 30 g, TSP 40 g. The observed growth and yield variables included plant height, number of branches, leaf area, leaf weight, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, age of flowering, number of fruit planted, weight of fruit planted and weight of fruit in plots. The treatment of various types of compost and POC doses showed that there was a significant difference in the growth and yield of cayenne pepper plants. The treatment of compost dose and liquid organic fertilizer concentration showed that there was a significant difference in the number of branches and the yield of cayenne pepper. There is an interaction between the type of treatment with the dose of compost and the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer on the variable fruit weight per hectare. The treatment with 10 tons of compost per hectare with a POC concentration of 0.3% (S2C3) resulted in the highest fruit weight per hectare. The control treatment showed no significant difference to the growth and yield variables.

Abstract

The research aims to study of growth and yield jack bean (Canavalia ensiformis L.) as the substitution of soybean plants on the application of different inoculants and doses of urea fertilizer, has been carried out in Depok, Kretek, Bantul Special Region of Yogyakarta. The research was a factorial experiment arranged in Randomized Completly Block Design with four replications. The first factor was kind of inoculants, consists of two kinds: peanut and soybean Rhizobium inoculants, the second factor was doses of urea fertilizer consisted of three levels 25; 50 and 75 kg per ha. Observation variables include the number of root nodules, height of plant, fresh and dry weight of plants aged 6 and 10 weeks, the number and weight of pods, weight of seeds per plot, the index growth, absolute growth rate, harvest index and yield per hectare. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test of 5 % significant level. Conclusion there was no interaction between kind of inoculants and doses of urea fertilizer of all variables. Inoculants do not enhance the growth and yield of jack bean, while the urea fertilizer of 75 kg urea per hectare improving growth and yield jack bean increase amounted to 42.64% of the application fertilizer urea 50 kg per ha.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the diversity of weeds and their competition with sweet corn and to determine the interaction between organic fertilizer sources and compound fertilizer doses on the growth and yield of sweet corn. The research was conducted from June to December 2022 at Giwangan, Umbulharjo, Yogyakarta. The study was arranged in a RCBD with two factors. The first factor is the source of organic fertilizer, cow manure (K1), chicken manure (K2), and compost (K3). The second factor is the dose of compound fertilizer, the dose of NPK fertilizer 100 kg/ha (N1), 150 kg/ha (N2), and 200 kg/ha (N3). The observed variables consisted of growth variables, such as fresh weight per plant and dry weight per plant and yield variables, such as weed identification, fresh weight per plant, dry weight per plant, corncob weight, yield of sweet corn per hectare, and weed competition index. Data of observation result were analyzed using variance at 5% level, followed by DMRT at α = 5%. The results of the analysis showed that the weeds growing on the sweet corn were weeds of the Poaceae family with an average competition index of 0.38. There was no interaction between the source of organic fertilizer and the dose of NPK compound fertilizer on the growth and yield of sweet corn. Sources of organic fertilizer had no effect on the growth and yield of sweet corn. NPK fertilizer doses had no effect on the growth and yield of sweet corn. Source of organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer doses had no effect on the control on the growth variable but had an effect on the yield variable which was indicated by a decrease in sweet corn yields per hectare of ±38%, from 12.08 tons per ha to 7.21 tons per ha.
