Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang perbedaan motivasi dan perbedaan hasil belajar pada materi hidrolisis garam antara model Problem Based Learning menggunakan laboratorium riil dengan laboratorium virtual di SMAN 4 Banjarmasin. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu mengetahui perbedaan motivasi dan perbedaan hasil belajar antara model Problem Based Learning menggunakan laboratorium riil dengan laboratorium virtual. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan pre-test post-test control group design. Sampel diambil dari kelas XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen serta XI MIPA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik tes, observasi dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan analisis deskriptif. Uji-t digunakan dalam menganalisis perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar pengetahuan peserta didik kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model Problem Based Learning menggunakan laboratorium virtual. Penelitian menunjukkan hasil (1) motivasi belajar memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan, (2) hasil belajar pengetahuan memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan (validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan) media pembelajaran komik kimia bermuatan literasi sains pada materi kesetimbangan ion dalam larutan garam yang dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan komunikasi. Penelitian merupakan penelitian R&D menggunakan model 4D dengan subjek uji keterbacaan perorangan 3 orang peserta didik, kelompok kecil 8 orang peserta didik, dan uji coba terbatas 34 orang peserta didik Kelas XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Banjarmasin. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, angket, dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media komik kimia yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria sebagai berikut: (1) Valid, ditinjau dari nilai aspek isi sebesar 95.35 (sangat valid), aspek tampilan sebesar 92.91 (sangat valid), dan aspek literasi sains sebesar 93.46 (sangat valid). (2) Praktis, ditinjau dari hasil keterbacaan media komik kimia pada uji perorangan sebesar 3.77 (sangat baik) dan kelompok kecil sebesar 3.58 (sangat baik), dan respon peserta didik terhadap media komik kimia sebesar 3.46 (sangat baik). (3), Efektif, ditinjau dari N-gain pemahaman konsep sebesar 0.74 (tinggi), N-gain kemampuan komunikasi tulisan sebesar 0.77 (tinggi), dan komunikasi lisan sebesar 58.89% (cukup). Diperoleh simpulan bahwa media pembelajaran komik kimia bermuatan literasi sains layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran yang ditinjaau dari 3 aaspek sangat valid, sangat baik, dan N-gain tinggi sertaa cukup.

Abstract

Abstract: The research on thermochemistry class using cooperative learning model types of “two stay two stray” method was conducted. This study aims to find out students 'improvement, affective skills, student’s activities and responses on “two stay two stray” method. This research used class-action-research design with 2 cycles. Subjects were A class of eleventh grade students of 5’s Senior High School Banjarmasin. Totally, there were 34 students involved on this study. Data was collected by using achievement test, questionnaires, and observations. Subsequently, data were analyzed by using percentation technique. The result showed that by using “two stay two stray” method, student’s achievments on thermochemistry improved by 17,98%. On average, student’s outcomes increased from 65,33% on the first cycle to 83,31% on the second cycle. Affective assessment pointed out that the affective skills of students were in good category (85,54%). Students gave positive responds to the model by 89,12%. From the first to the second cycle, student’s activities in the group improved.Key words: cooperative learning, two stay two stray method, thermochemistry.

Abstract

Abstract. Has done research on learning Probing prompting the hydrocarbon material class X-1 SMA PGRI 6 Banjarmasin. This study aims to determine (1) the implementation of teacher learning, (2) student activities, (3) improving student learning outcomes, (4) student response. This study used a research design class action (PTK) with 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and evaluation, as well as analysis and reflection. The subjects were students of class X-1 SMA PGRI 6 Banjarmasin the number of 26 people. The data include the observation of teacher activity, student activity and student response. Data were collected using the learning outcomes achievement test were collected using multiple choice questions each end of the cycle. The results showed that the learning model Probing prompting the teacher can increase the activity of both criteria in the first cycle and very good in the second cycle. Activity increased with the criteria students active in the first cycle became very active in the second cycle. Probing prompting learning model can improve student learning outcomes completeness of the average of 76.92% in the first cycle to 100% in the second cycle or an increase of 23.08%. Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of collaborative learning strategies integrated of multiple intelligences to improve the intelligence of mathematical logic and the comprehension of concepts of experimental class in SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin. The research conducted to the experimental research method through pretest-posttest control group design. Class XI IPA 1 students as experiment group and XI IPA 4 students as control group. The control group used conventional methods, and then the experimental group implemented thru collaborative learning strategy integrated to multiple intelligences. Data collection used test and non-test techniques namely observation and multiple intelligence questionnaires. Data analysis technique used t-test and descriptive analysis. The result showed is that the collaborative learning strategies integrated of multiple intelligence effective to mathematical logic intelligence and concept comprehension of experimental group students compared with control group.Keywords: collaborative, multiple intelligences, mathematical logic,comprehension of concepts, solubility and solubility product.

Abstract

Abstract. Has done research about the application of guided inquiry learning model on redox material in students of class X Social 2 SMAN 2 Banjarmasin. This research aims to determine: (1) the activities of teachers; (2) the activites of students; (3) students’ affective; (4) psychomotoric and (5) improving students learning outcomes. The research design was used classroom action research with 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and evaluation, as well as analysis and reflection. The subjects were 34 students of class X Social 2 SMAN 2 Banjarmasin. The results showed that an increasing teacher activity from 73,58% (good) in the first cycle to 92,96% (very good) in the second cycle, increasing students activity from 52,09% (active enough) in the first cycle to 81,21% (active) in the second cycle, increasing aspect of students' affective like character and skills from 52,82% (good enough) and 59,80% in the first cycle to 79,41% (good) and 82,35% (good) in the second cycle, increasing students psychomotoric from 67,75 (enough) in the first cycle to 80,25% (good) in the second cycle, and learning outcomes in the first cycle is 72,76 (enough) has increased in the second cycle to be 83,70 (good).Keywords: teacher activities, student activities, learning outcomes, guided inquiry learning, material of redox.

Abstract

This research aims to find out : (1) cognitive differences in learning outcomes between students who are learning to use the SETS approach (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society) and students learn using conventional learning material redox This study aims to find out, (2) student learning activities that use the SETS and conventional learning material redox reactions, and (3) students' response to the SETS approach. The research method is a quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The study population was a class X student of SMAN 12 Banjarmasin academic year 2011/2012. Sample was determined by purposive random sampling by 2 classes of 4 classes. Data collection technique used achievement test, questionnaire, observation and documentation. The technique of data analysis using t-test and descriptive analysis. The results showed that : (1) there are differences in cognitive learning outcomes between students who are learning to use the approach SETS and students who learn using conventional learning material redox reactions, (2) student learning activities that use the SETS more active than the student activity using conventional learning material redox reactions, (3) implementation of the approach SETS received a positive response from students. Abstract

Tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui keefektifan penerapan model discovery learning dalam pembelajaran daring berbantuan video conference yang dilihat dari (1) ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik, (2) N-gain kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan self regulation peserta didik, serta (3) respon peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk pre-eksperimental design dengan metode penelitian adalah one grup pretest-posttest design, dilakukan dalam dua kali pertemuan. Populasi penelitian yakni peserta didik kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu dengan purposive sampling, adapun sampel yang diambil berjumlah 36 orang. Pengumpulan data melalui teknik tes berupa soal uraian/essai dan non-tes berupa angket. Teknik analisis data secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian membuktikan model discovery learning efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran daring yang dilihat dari pencapaian (1) hasil belajar peserta didik sebesar 0,59 dalam kategori sedang dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 77,78%, (2) N-gain kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam kategori sedang sebesar 0,52 dan self regulation dalam kategori sedang sebesar 0,31, serta (3) respon peserta didik positif.

Abstract

Pendekatan STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) menunjang proses pembelajaran dan mendukung tercapainya kompetensi di abad 21 dan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang konsep dan implementasi pembelajaran STEM IPA-Kimia berkonteks lahan basah. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru MGMP IPA/Kimia yang berada pada wilayah Kabupaten Banjar Kalimantan Selatan sebagai mitra dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan pengembangan kegiatan pembelajaran kimia berbasis STEM di SMA sesuai tuntutan kurikulum 2013. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Materi sosialisasi dan pelatihan terdiri dari: (1) Pendekatan pembelajaran STEM IPA-Kimia berkonteks lahan basah, (2) desain perangkat pembelajaran meliputi silabus, RPP, LKPD, dan alat evaluasi, (3) contoh video atau simulasi implementasi pembelajaran STEM IPA-Kimia berkonteks lahan basah. Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan ini peserta akan dapat menggunakan pembelajaran STEM IPA-Kimia sebagai sebuah strategi pembelajaran kimia di kelas. They used the STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) approach to support the learning process and support the achievement of competencies in the 21st century and the development of science and technology. This community service activity aims to increase teachers' understanding of the concept and implementation of STEM Science-Chemistry learning in a wetland context. The targets of this activity are MGMP Science/Chemistry teachers located in the Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan, as partners in the implementation of training activities and assistance in developing STEM-based chemistry learning activities in high school according to the demands of the 2013 curriculum. This activity uses lecture, discussion, and question and answer methods. The socialization and training materials consist of: (1) STEM Science-Chemistry learning approach in the context of a wetland, (2) the design of learning devices including syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheet, and evaluation tools, (3) an example of a video or simulation of the implementation of STEM Science-Chemistry learning in a wetland context. Through this socialization and training activity, participants will be able to use STEM Science-Chemistry learning as a chemistry learning strategy in the classroom.

Abstract

This research was about the implementation of the ICARE (Introduction-Connect-Apply-Reflect-Extend) learning model to the science process skills compared to the DI (Direct Instruction) learning model. This research was a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The population was all students of class X MIPA SMAN 4 Banjarmasin with sample consist of 2 classes selected by cluster random sampling, X MIPA 2 as an experimental class and X MIPA 4 as a control class. Data collection techniques were used test (instruments test description question) and observation technique like using the science process skills instrument. Data analysis using t-test obtained tcount larger than ttable at the 0.05 level of significance, ie 5.9 > 2.0, it means that there were a differenct in science process skills aspect between students who had learned with the ICARE learning model and the DI learning model. Students’ science process skills enhancement in the experimental class have a gain value of 0.61 in the medium category and in the control class have a gain value of 0.40 in the medium categoryKeywords: ICARE, science process skill, electrolyte and non electrolyte solution
