Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a measurement tool which is useful for an evaluation of customer satisfaction with the quality of service ATKP Medan North Sumatera covering Dormitory, Library, Psychology, Polyclinic, Parenting, Education and Laboratorium.Peneliti will take measurements of customer satisfaction based on the aspects of satisfaction expressed by Wilkie consisting of five elements of expectations, performance, comparison, confirmation or disconfirmation, and discrepancy. Stages of analysis item satisfaction scale of services being developed include: (1) analysis of content validity, (2) test the validity, (3) the reliability test, (4) calculate the scale of five categories based on the mean and standard deviation to determine the category of the level of satisfaction service. In the pilot scale using a sample measuring 97 Midshipman ATKP Medan with random side technique. The data obtained will be analyzed using Cronbach alpha reliability analysis to look at the scale reliability and item-total correlation analysis (rix) to see the different power test item once the validity of the content. Based on the analysis of reliability and validity of the obtained results of user satisfaction scale reliability dormitory unit, Clinic, Library, Parenting, Education, Psychology and laboratories greater than 0.9 with rix value greater than 0.3. This value indicates that the scale of satisfaction of services that have been prepared to have the precision and accuracy of a measuring instrument and be able to demonstrate the reliability or reliable.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the profile of the psychological needs Taruna ATKP Terrain Data cadets some 177 people gathered with the use of psychological tests EPPS are then processed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the needs of the dominant owned by the cadets is the need of Intraception (placement up to others/empathy), need of dominance (lead/influence), need of abasement (willingness to accept mistakes), Need of Nurturance (attention and feeling warm towards others). Psychological needs were classified as moderate is the need of achievement (accomplishment), need of deference (the ability to adapt), need of order (task with regular/tidy), need of exhibition (present themselves), then psychological needs are likely to be low is need of autonomy (self-behavior), need of succorance (for help/assistance), need of heterosexual and need of aggression (aggressiveness).

Abstract

Education is an important factor in the development of science and the technology. Quality of service is an important element in the institution of education for the quality service of education that will produce high-quality graduates as well. The importance of service quality makes it a part of the Higher Education Quality Standards. Cadets Satisfaction to services is a benchmark to find out the quality of service at Medan Aviation Polytechnic. This research aims to determine the level of Cadets satisfaction to Medan Aviation Polytechnic service towards learning management standard services and standards for infrastructure facilities. The results of the study will be used as references in developing quality standards of Medan Aviation Polytechnic. The method used was Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method, with a total sample of 44 people. Analysis of the data is done with test validity, reliability, planning matrices and matrix House of Quality (HOQ). Analysis results shows the level of cadets satisfaction highest is the dimension Realibility to value the satisfaction of 4.01 followed by the dimensions of Assurance with the value of the satisfaction of 3.98, then the dimension Empaty to value the satisfaction of 3.97 and then at Responsivness dimension with satisfaction value 3.95 and the last is Tangibility dimension with satisfaction value 3.92.

Abstract

Dunia pendidikan saat ini khususnya di Perguruan Tinggi, tingkat kedisiplinan lebih diutamakan agar proses belajar mengajar dapat berlangsung dengan baik dan sesuai dengan jadwal yang sudah ditentukan. Permasalahan yang sering timbul dalam Perguruan Tinggi adalah keterlambatan Taruna dalam mengikuti proses mata kuliah, hal ini menimbulkan banyak kecurangan yang sering dilakukan Taruna pada daftar hadir. Tujuan dari rancang bangun sistem aplikasi absensi ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan, mengurangi tindak kecurangan pada daftar hadir, mengurangi peluang kesalahan pada saat perekapan daftar hadir diakhir semester di ATKP Medan. Dengan adanya perangkat ini yang dipasang pada setiap ruangan kampus yang berfungsi untuk mengidentifikasi kehadiran setiap Taruna yang mengikuti pelajaran. Alat ini menggunakan komponen utama yaitu ARDUINO UNO berfungsi sebagai mikrokontroller, RFID Reader berfungsi sebagai alat pengidentifikasi kartu Taruna, LCD berfungsi menampilkan nama Taruna yang melakukan cek kehadiran dan perangkat lunak Absensi berfungsi sebagai pengelola data kehadiran Taruna yang hanya dapat dijalankan pada sistem operasi windows. Taruna melakukan cek kehadiran menggunakan sebuah kartu dengan cara menempelkan pada Tag Reader RFID perangkat keras absensi. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan sistem absensi yang berjalan dengan baik pada ATKP Medan yang dapat memberikan kemudahan pada proses pengelolaan data Taruna, data mata kuliah, data dosen, data jadwal mata kuliah, data kelas, data kehadiran dan data ruangan.

Abstract

Ruang udara terdiri atas beberapa sektor dengan keterbatasan atau kapasitas yang tentunya berbeda-beda. Hal ini dapat dipengaruhi banyak faktor yang kemudian dapat mempengaruhi optimalisasi ruang udara tersebut. Kapasitas sistem ATC dengan beban kerja sebagai indikator yang diperhituangkan, menjadi salah satu faktor yang difokuskan dalam menganalisis kapasitas ruang udara pada penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pessimistic Sector Capacity. Metode ini mengadopsi Document Eurocontrol Experiment Center (EEC) Note no.21/23 yang merupakan pengembangan metode regresi ATC Capacity Analyser Tool (CAPAN) untuk menghitung kapasitas sebuah sektor serta menganalisis regresi beban kerja petugas ATC dibandingkan dengan jumlah penerbangan pada suatu sektor. Data primer pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui survei langsung terhadap kegiatan ATC yaitu saat memberikan pelayanan lalu lintas penerbangan pada suatu sektor ruang udara selama 1 jam pada saat peak hours dalam kurun waktu 30 hari. Data sekunder yang diperlukan untuk mendukung analisis yaitu terkait jumlah penerbangan saat jam puncak, kondisi cuaca, dan rencana penerbangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, setelah diimplementasikannya PBN (RNAV1), terdapat peningkatan nilai kapasitas ruang udara di sektor Medan East TMA dari 22 traffic/jam menjadi 25 traffic/jam. Selanjutnya, analisis ini dapat dijadikan baseline guna peningkatan kapasitas ruang udara di masa yang akan datang dalam rangka antisipasi permintaan lalu lintas penerbangan yang terus meningkat.

Abstract

The background of this research was based on the continued development of international aviation in the world which was a challenge for the translator to find an equivalent sentence. The purpose of this thesis was to find the equivalence type used in translating the source language to the target language and find the dominant equivalence type used. For solving this problem, the writer used Nida and Taber theory that divided equivalence types into two types, namely formal equivalence or formal correspondence and dynamic equivalence. The method used was descriptive qualitative method. The data was obtained through systematic sampling method. Based on the analysis, the equivalence types of 53 of 66 samples (80%) were translated by using formal correspondence; 12 of 66 samples were translated using dynamic equivalence (18%) and only one sample (2%) did not neither involve in formal correspondence nor dynamic equivalence because SL text did not have translation in TL (reserved). The most dominant equivalence type used in the translation was formal correspondence.

Abstract

The classification of student’s air traffic control skills at Akademi Teknik dan Keselamatan Penerbangan Medan (ATKP) is very interesting to evaluate and look at the performance of the student. In this study, we compute the student’s air traffic control (ATC) skill data to classify and evaluate the model and performance of the dataset. The computation of the dataset using the logistic regression approach based on Sk-learn by training and test data. The data was collected from ATKP for twenty samples. The result of this study indicates the logistic regression classifier is the best algorithm for this classification problem, offering good values in terms of accuracy, true negative rate, and true positive rate.

Abstract

Process of selecting outstanding cadets is a multi-criteria problem, so get objectively achieving cadets, a decision support system with multiple criteria is needed. As an appreciation for achievement, a few universities provide scholarships for high achieving students. However, a few universities choose outstanding students based only on GPA. This study aims to analyze the application of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method in the Decision Support System for the selection of cadets so that objectively achieving candidates can be determined. Because the number of prospective cadets with many achievements, Random Index (IR) value is obtained from IR table > 15. This study uses 4 criteria, namely the GPA criteria with eigenvectors = 0.111, Scientific works with eigenvectors = 0.563, extracurricular (Achievement) with eigen vector = 0.246 Foreign language proficiency with eigenvector = 0.08. From the research results obtained the value of CR = -0,987 <= 0.1, then the value of the comparison criteria is consistent. The results showed that there were differences in the ranking of outstanding cadets at the Medan Aviation Polytechnic according to the GPA and the AHP method
