Abstract

Model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom yang diterapkan selama ini sudah terbukti memberikan pengaruh yang sangat baik dalam pembelajaran. Namun, dari beberapa hasil penelitian yang dianalisis terdapat kelemahan dalam penggunaannya yaitu dituntutnya kemandirian siswa dalam mempelajari di rumah, namun hanya beberapa siswa memiliki kelemahan dalam belajar mandiri. Oleh sebab itu dikembangkan model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom berbantuan media interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom berbantuan media interaktif yang praktis. Penelitian ini hanya membahas tentang praktikalitas model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom berbantuan media interaktif karena untuk validitas model ini telah dibahas pada artikel sebelumnya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4-D, yaitu Define, Design, develop and disseminate. Instrument penelitian ini adalah lembar praktikalitas guru dan siswa. Aspek yang di analisis adalah proses pembelajaran, penyajian materi, media pembelajaran, Latihan pada media, Bahasa, bentuk fisik dan manfaat. Dari hasil penelitian untuk model Flipped Classroom berbantuan media interaktif dapat dikatakan bahwa praktis karena dari aspek guru diperoleh persentase kepraktisan yaitu 96,875% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Sedangkan untuk aspek siswa diperoleh persentase kepraktisan sebesar 92,38% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Oleh sebab itu, model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom berbantuan media interaktif dapat digunakan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah hasil belajar Peserta Didik masih rendah. Salah satu faktor penyebab terjadinya adalah pembelajaran yang belum sepenuhnya mampu memfasilitasi peserta didik mengembangkan kemampuan matematis yang baik. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika Peserta Didik salah satunya adalah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan perbedaan hasil belajar Peserta Didik yang menggunakan pembelajaran discovery learning dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasy experiment) dengan rancangan penelitian Randomized Control-Group Only Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah semua kelas VIII pada SMPN 13 Padang pada tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar matematika yang berbentuk soal essay. Hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata nilai Peserta Didik kelompok eksperimen yaitu 70 dan rara-rata nilai Peserta Didik kelompok kontrol yaitu 57,68. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan taraf nyata α = 0,05 diperoleh P-value = 0,002 atau tolak Ho, artinya hasil belajar matematika Peserta Didik yang menggunakan model discovery learning lebih baik daripada hasil belajar matematika Peserta Didik dengan pembelajaran konvensional di kelas VIII SMPN 13 Padang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model discovery learning memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika Peserta Didik. Disarankan pada guru diharapkan agar menerapkan model discovery learning sebagai variasi dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstrak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pendahuluan pada kelas VIII SMP di lapangan, masih ditemukan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dalam masalah nyata yang belum optimal dan aktivitas siswa tidak mendukung proses belajar mereka. Salah satu faktornya adalah tidak cocoknya perangkat pembelajaran yang dapat memudahkan pembelajar untuk memperbaiki pemecahan kemampuan matematika dan kemampuan belajar siswa. Dari situ, untuk mendasari melakukan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran matematika, ada rencana rencana pembelajaran (RPP) dan lembar kerja siswa (LKPD) berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL), yang dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar untuk belajar pemecahan masalah dan dapat memberikan efek potensial yang baik pada aktivitas siswa selama proses belajar. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, kuesioner, wawancara, dan uji kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP N 3 Sawahlunto. Pengembangan penelitian ini yang digunakan adalah mode Plomp yang terdiri dari tahap awal penelitian, tahap prototipe, dan tahap penilaian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, terlihat bahwa alat pembelajaran berdasarkan PBL telah memenuhi kriteria yang valid dalam hal isi dan konstruksi. Peralatan pelajaran telah dianggap praktis dalam hal pelaksanaan dan efisiensi penggunaan waktu oleh guru dan siswa. Alat pelajaran juga efektif dalam hal proses penguasaan presentasi siswa belajar setelah menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis perangkat berbasis pembelajaran lebih besar dari atau sama dengan 75% sedangkan dalam hal hasil rata-rata siswa telah aktif dalam belajar.Kata kunci: Perangkat Pelajaran Matematika, Pemecahan Masalah, PBL. Abstract. Based on the results of preliminary studies at grade VIII SMP in the field, it is still  found a mathematical problem solving ability of students in real problem who have not optimally and students activities do not support their learning process. One of the  factor is unsuitable of learning tools that can be facilitate learners to improve solving of mathematical problems ability and student’s activities to learn. From that case, to be underlying to do development learning tools of mathematics, there are plan lesson plan (RPP) and student’s worksheet (LKPD) on Problem Based Learning (PBL), which can provide a learning experience to learn problem solving and can provide a good potential effects on student’s activities during the learning proccess. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and test problem solving abilities. The subjects of this research are students grade VIII SMP N 3 Sawahlunto. This research development is used Plomp mode consists of phase preliminary research, prototype phase, and assessment phase. Based on the data analysis result, it was showed that the learning equipment based on  PBL has fulfilled valid criteria in term of content and construct. The lesson equipment has been considered as practical in terms of implementation and the efficiency of time use by teachers and students. The lesson equipment has also been effective in terms of process  the presentation mastery learning students after using the device based learning problem-based learning is greater than or equal to 75% while in terms of results the average student has been active in the learning. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the mathematics lesson equipment based on PBL which was conducted to student's of class VIII was valid, practical, and effective.Keyword. Abstract

Numeracy literacy is a skill that students must have in the independent curriculum (kurikulum merdeka). But in reality, the numeracy literacy skills of Indonesian students are generally low at every level of education. Because in the independent curriculum (kurikulum merdeka) the learning applied is the Differentiated Learning, it needs to be adapted to the learning style of the learners. For this reason, teachers must obtain an overview of the numeracy literacy skills and learning styles of students. The purpose of this research is to describe the numeracy literacy skills of junior high school students in terms of their learning styles. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were seventh grade students spread across six public junior high schools. The instruments used were questionnaires and numeracy literacy tests. The data obtained were processed using two-way analysis of variance. From the results of the study it was found that in general the numeracy literacy skills of junior high school students were still low. There is no difference in the numeracy literacy skills of students based on learning styles but there are differences between schools. Learners with auditory style have better ability than visual and kinesthetic.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a learning tool that is valid, practical, and effective. This learning tool contains material for flat-sided shapes. This research is a development research using the Plomp model, which includes Preliminary Research, Prototyping Stage, and Assessment Stage. The instruments used in the study were learning device assessment sheets to measure validity, educator response questionnaires, student response questionnaires, learning implementation observation sheets to measure practicality, and tests of critical thinking skills to measure effectiveness. Learning devices are said to be valid and practical if they meet at least good criteria (average score more than 3.40) and the percentage of learning implementation is at least 70%, while it is said to be effective if the percentage of student completeness is more than 60%. The learning device was implemented at As-Salam Islamic Middle School, Tanjung Gadang, Sijunjung Regency with the object of research being students of class VII Marwah. This research produced a set of learning tools in the form of lesson plans and worksheets for six meetings. Learning tools meet valid criteria with an average score of 3.52 for lesson plans and 3.52 for worksheets from a maximum score of 4.00. Learning tools meet the very practical criteria with an average score of 80% for the teacher response questionnaire and 88.17% for the student response questionnaire with a maximum score of 100%, while the average percentage of learning implementation is 83.21%. Learning devices meet the criteria of effectiveness with a percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes of 75.57%.

Abstract

This research aims to describe: 1) the effectiveness of the realistic approach-based learning tools developed; 2) increasing students' mathematical problem-solving skills taught through a developed realistic approach-based learning tool; and 3) student responses to the realistic approach-based learning tools developed. This research is a development research. This research was conducted in two stages, namely the first stage of developing learning tools based on the Realistic Mathematics Education approach, and the second stage of testing learning tools based on the Realistic Mathematics Education approach developed in class VII at SMP IT Darul Ikhlas Al Islami to see their effectiveness. The results of the trial, it was obtained: 1) learning tools based on a realistic approach that were developed effectively, in terms of a) classical student learning completeness; b) achievement of learning objectives; and c) learning time; 2) The realistic approach-based learning tools developed can improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities; and 3) students' positive response to the activities and learning tools based on the realistic approach developed.

Abstract

Kemampuan representasi matematis merupakan keterampilan penting dalam mempelajari matematika, memungkinkan peserta didik untuk mengungkapkan ide matematika melalui berbagai representasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kemampuan representasi matematis siswa kelas XI MIPA di SMAN 1 Tigo Nagari. Pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dengan mengumpulkan data melalui tes kemampuan representasi matematis dan wawancara. Studi literatur juga dilakukan mengenai kemampuan representasi matematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika berada pada tingkat sedang, dengan beberapa area yang perlu ditingkatkan. Saran meliputi perancangan kegiatan pembelajaran atau media pendidikan untuk membantu siswa mengaplikasikan kemampuan representasi matematis dalam kehidupan nyata. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat mengeksplorasi jenjang yang lebih tinggi dan mengembangkan instrumen penilaian untuk topik matematika lain seperti geometri dan matriks.

Abstract

The literature study and preliminary analysis conducted showed that students' critical thinking skills were still low. This study aims to determine the characteristics of Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction (ARCS)-based learning tools that contain valid, practical, and effective HOTS questions to improve the critical thinking skills of class VIII students of SMP N 6 Padang Panjang. This research is a development research using the Plomp model. The learning tools developed are in the form of Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) and Student Activity Sheets (LKPD). The research subjects were students of class VIII SMP N 6 Padang Panjang. Data was collected through documentation, observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests of critical thinking skills. RPP Validity Score: 3.28 and LKPD: 3.21 with a valid category. Practicality of RPP: 92.08% and LKPD: 87.35% with very practical category. The effectiveness of learning tools based on testing the average critical thinking skills of the experimental class was 81.93, control class was 76.63. Based on statistical tests, a significance value of 0.048 <0.05 was obtained, and based on the list of t distribution tables with (????????)=60 and a=0.05, 1.671. Because t_count= 2.108>1.671=t_(table) then H0 is rejected and accepts H1. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the ARCS-based learning tools contain HOTS questions that meet valid, practical, and effective criteria to improve students' mathematical thinking skills.

Abstract

Mathematical disposition is one aspect that influences a person's success in learning, because mathematical disposition is a person's attitude towards appreciating mathematics. This research aims to describe the mathematical disposition of students in the Mathematics Education Study Program at PGRI University of West Sumatra in the Basic Statistics course. The research subjects were 28 students from the class of 2021. The instruments used were a mathematics disposition questionnaire and interview sheets. Mathematical disposition is seen using 6 indicators, namely: 1) self-confidence, 2) curiosity, 3) feeling capable, 4) happy, diligent and diligent, 5) flexible, 6) reflective. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis techniques in the form of percentages. The results of this research show that learning outcomes have increased from the average pretest score (62) to posttest score (87). Based on the results of the Shapiro-Wilk statistical test, it was obtained that 0.03 was smaller than 0.05 and had a normal distribution, so the results of this research were acceptable and had a significant effect on students' mathematical disposition through the CTL approach.

Abstract

This research identifies publications related to Discovery learning. Discovery learning is a learning model that encourages active learning in students through self-discovery and research so that the results achieved are long-lasting and difficult to forget. This research aims to identify and analyze articles researching Discovery Learning that have been published in several reputable international journals published in the 2014-2023 period, which was carried out using bibliometric studies. Bibliometric analysis produced four findings: publications about Discovery Learning in Scopus-indexed journals have been in a fluid and balanced pattern every year for the last ten years; 328 of the ten journals producing the most articles have been published. The top-ranked journal published 15 articles, and the tenth-ranked journal published five articles; The most citations occurred in articles published in 2020 with a total of 1101 citations. The most cited article was written by B.R. Goldsmith with 241 citations; The author's keywords that are most frequently used in the top three are discovery, machine, and machine learning
