Abstract

The home-based learning strategy is a useful control measure to decrease the spread of COVID-19 among students. A sudden alteration of offline learning to online learning impacted  the effectiveness of learning activities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Faculty of Engineering, Darma Cendika Catholic University needed to assess the level of student satisfaction of online-based learning so that the quality of service was maintained. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of student satisfaction during online-based learning during the COVID-19 pandemic using the Service Quality (Servqual) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) methods. Servqual and IPA are methods for measuring the level of satisfaction and quality of service. The result of Servqual shows all the measurements of 17 attributes have negative gap value. This shows that there is a difference between students perception and expectation of online-based learning. The Matrix of IPA indicates the priority of improvement of online-based learning that encompasses the lecturers consistency in providing a good lecture, the capability of using learning platform, the prompt and efficient response to students needs in online-based learning, the encouragement of students motivation throughout the learning process, and the understanding of students impediments during the process of online-based learning.

Abstract

Kenaf fiber from the kenaf plant is the excellent raw material for industry because of the various diversified products it produces. To develop sustainable kenaf fiber, information is needed on the strengths and weaknesses of kenaf cultivation systems with respect to productivity and environmental impact. Therefore, a comprehensive environmental and economic impact assessment was conducted from cultivating kenaf to kenaf fiber. The environmental impact assessment uses the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method and economic calculations from the life cycle of kenaf to kenaf fiber to collectors use the Life Cycle Cost (LCC) method. The calculation of environmental impacts is in accordance with the stages of ISO 14040, using a single score assessment. The LCA results show that the treatment stage is the highest contributor of the three groups of impact categories. The highest to the lowest in the impact category group that was influenced by the treatment stage were resources with a value of 21.4 mPt, human health with a value of 8.76 mPt, and ecosystem quality with a value of 1.91 mPt. The cost identified through the LCC is Rp. 6,088,468,333, NVP and B/Cnet are positive. The results of the sensitivity analysis if there is a reduction in production> 6%, the business is still profitable and can be run.

Abstract

The largest kenaf culture in Indonesia is in Laren, Lamongan. Kenaf plants are suitable to be planted in the Bonorowo field. The less potential land conditions make the cultivation of kenaf plants must use chemicals. The use of chemicals has the potential to harm the environment. The approach to identifying and analyzing environmental impacts is the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). LCA is one method to find out the life cycle of agriculture. LCA stages are Goal and Scope Definition, Life Cycle Inventory, Life Cycle Impact Assessment, and Interpretation. Environmental impact measurement is based on fifteen categories grouped into four categories. LCA processing results show the use of urea fertilizer has the most significant negative impact on the environment. The biggest impact category due to the use of urea fertilizer is aquatic ecotoxicity. The use of urea fertilizer affects the types of resources, climate change, ecosystem quality, and human health. Of the four groups, which have the highest value, are the resource group. The use of urea fertilizer has the most significant role in the success of kenaf cultivation because kenaf cultivation requires more N elements to improve the quality of kenaf stems. The use of organic fertilizer can be an option to reduce the use of urea fertilizer.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Kalisari Timur I RT 2 RW 6, Surabaya. Mayoritas penduduk laki-laki di kampung ini bermata pencaharian sebagai nelayan, dan ibu-ibu berprofesi sebagai asisten rumah tangga atau penjual makanan. Permasalahan yang terjadi di daerah ini adalah kurang memiliki budaya membuang sampah pada tempatnya sehingga sampah berserakan, tidak menjaga kebersihan dan kerapian  lingkungan sekitar, dan tidak memiliki jadwal kerja bakti secara rutin. Solusi yang ditawarkan dari masalah ini adalah menghidupkan jadwal kerja bakti secara rutin, membiasakan membuang sampah pada tempatnya dengan pengadaan tempat sampah di setiap rumah, melakukan pengecatan lorong serta gapura, penanaman tanaman sebagai wujud memperindah lingkungan sekitar, dan pemasangan slogan kebersihan lingkungan di beberapa titik. Program pengabdian tersebut mendapat respon positif dikalangan warga, terbukti dengan keikutsertaan warga pada setiap program. Hasil program yang sudah terlaksana adalah lingkungan terlihat bersih, rapi, serta cerah, warga mulai membiasakan diri membuang sampah pada tempatnya, mengingatkan warga untuk selalu menjaga kebersihan lingkungan dari slogan yang sudah tertempel, menumbuhkan rasa memiliki dan bertanggungjawab terhadap lingkungan sekitar.[This community service program was conducted at Kalisari Timur I RT 2 RW 6, Surabaya. The majority of the male population in this village earn a living as fishermen, and mothers work as household assistants or food vendors. The problems that occur in this area are those who do not have the culture of disposing of garbage in trash cans scattered about, do not need cleanliness and neatness of the surrounding environment, and do not have regular work schedules. The solution offered from this problem is to open a routine work schedule, familiarize garbage disposal according to the procurement of trash bins in each house, do the casting of aisles and gates, plant plants to beautify the environment, and put slogans on environmental cleanliness at various points. This service program received a positive response among residents, as evidenced by the participation of citizens in each program. The results of the program that have been implemented are that the environment looks clean, neat, bright, residents are getting used to throwing trash in its place, convincing citizens to always maintain the cleanliness of the environment from the slogan that has been attached, foster a sense of belonging and be responsible for the surrounding environment.]

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di UPTD Kalijudan dan UPTD Kampung Anak Negeri, Surabaya. UPTD tersebut melayani sesorang yang memiliki masalah kesejahteraan sosial. UPTD Kalijudan membina anak berkebutuhan khusus (tunagrahita), sedangkan UPTD Kampung Anak Negeri membina anak jalanan. Permasalahan yang terjadi di UPTD Kalijudan adalah bangunan yang kurang informatif, tidak ada penamaan pada masing-masing ruangan. Permasalahan yang terjadi di UPTD Kampung Anak Negeri adalah pembinaan anak jalanan secara tidak langsung. Solusi yang ditawarkan dari masalah ini adalah membuat dan memasang papan nama ruangan untuk setiap ruangan di UPTD Kalijudan dan papan slogan motivasi. Program pengabdian tersebut mendapat respon positif dari kepala dan pengurus harian UPTD. Hal ini terbukti dengan kesediaan mereka menerima tim pengabdian, bersedia memberikan masukan untuk desain dan isi papan nama ruangan serta slogan motivasi, dan keikutsertaan pengurus harian dalam setiap program. Hasil program yang telah terlaksana adalah dengan pemasangan papan nama ruangan maka tamu atau pengunjung mudah mengakses ruang-ruang di UPTD Kalijudan dan memberikan kesan indah pada lingkungan bangunan. Hasil program pemasangan slogan motivasi adalah secara tidak langsung slogan motivasi mendidik dan memotivasi anak-anak penghuni asrama, pengurus, dan tamu atau pengunjung.[This community service program was conducted at the Kalijudan UPTD and the Kampung Anak Negeri UPTD, Surabaya. The UPTD serves someone who has social welfare problems. Kalijudan UPTD foster children with special needs (mental retardation), while UPTD Kampung Anak Negeri foster street children. Problems that occur in the Kalijudan UPTD are buildings that are less informative, there is no naming in each room. Problems that occur in UPTD Kampung Anak Negeri are indirect street child development. The solution offered from this problem is to create and install a signboard for each room in the UPTD Kalijudan and a motivational slogan board. The service program received a positive response from the head and UPTD daily management. This is evidenced by their willingness to accept the service team, accepting to provide the design and content of the signboard with motivational slogans, and the participation of the daily management in each program. The result of the program that has been carried out is by installing a room signage, so guests or visitors can easily access the rooms at UPTD Kalijudan and provide beautiful choices in the building environment. The results of the installation of motivational slogans are motivational slogans to directly educate and motivate the children of boarders, caretakers, and guests or visitors.]

Abstract

The advantages of QFD is to translate customer need into a technical response. But QFD has some disadvantages related to the difficulties in distinguishing the difference of needs between consumers, difficulties to fulfill the needs of different consumer groups, and the exietence of conceptual gap between consumers and companies. The proposed method to overcome these disadvantages is conjoint analysis. The main advantage of conjoint analysis is the ability to get the optimal design combination for products or services based on consumers' preference. The result of conjoint analysis, estimation of perceived value, and integration of QFD can be used to know the preference market needs among consumers, identify the office desk, determine consumer segments and technical respons, and estimate the additional price of office desk attributes as an effort to the development of the office desk. In overall the best Office desk combination results based on consumers' preference of Office desk is the white color without additional drawers or supporting features, with table size is 120x60x75 cm and footstool. Segmentation based on preferences resulting in three clusters, namely size, color, and availability of drawer. The highest technical response to be the company's priority in meeting the needs of consumers is to make the proper hole connection. Based on the perceived value, the company is capable to predict that the additional prices of 1 drawer is Rp.1-Rp.500.000, the addition price of 2 drawers is Rp.800,000 - Rp.900.000, and the addition price of the foundation of the foot is Rp.50.000 - Rp.150.000, and the additional price of supporting features is Rp.150.000-Rp.250.000.Keywords: Quality Function Deployment (QFD), conjoint analysis, segmentation and perceived value.AbstrakKeunggulan QFD adalah menterjemahkan customer need menjadi respon teknis. Namun QFD mempunyai kekurangan terkait sulit membedakan antara beragam kebutuhan konsumen yang bertentangan, sulit memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen yang berbeda kelompok, dan kesenjangan konseptual antara konsumen dan perusahaan. Untuk melengkapi kekurangan QFD, diusulkan metode conjoint analysis. Keunggulan utama conjoint analysis mampu mendapatkan kombinasi desain yang optimal untuk produk yang melekat pada preferensi konsumen. Hasil integrasi QFD dan conjoint analysis serta estimasi perceived value dapat mengetahui preferensi konsumen meja kantor, mengidentifikasi segmen konsumen meja kantor, menentukan respon teknis, dan mengestimasi harga penambahan atribut meja kantor sebagai upaya pengembangan meja kantor. Secara keseluruhan hasil kombinasi meja kantor terbaik berdasarkan preferensi konsumen meja kantor adalah warna putih, tidak membutuhkan penambahan fitur laci, tidak membutuhkan penambahan fitur pendukung, ukuran meja 120x60x75 cm, dan terdapat tumpuan kaki. Berdasarkan segmentasi preferensi terbentuk tiga klaster, yaitu klaster warna, klaster ukuran, dan klaster ketersediaan laci. Secara keseluruhan respon teknis yang menjadi prioritas perusahaan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen adalah pembuatan lubang sambungan yang tepat. Berdasarkan hasil perceived value, perusahaan dapat memperkirakan harga penambahan 1 laci berkisar Rp.1 - Rp.500.000, penambahan 2 laci adalah Rp. 800.000 – Rp. 900.000, penambahan tumpuan kaki Rp. 50.000 – Rp. 150.000, dan penambahan fitur pendukung Rp. 150.000-Rp. 250.000.Kata kunci: Quality Function Deployment (QFD), conjoint analysis, segmentasi, dan perceived value

Abstract

One of the transportation services that need quality improvement is an online motorcycle taxis. Integration Servqual and conjoint analysis in QFD process can determine the attributes of consumer needs, and technical response as an effort to improve the service motorcycle taxi online. The result of attributes combination of motorcycle taxi online service as a whole according to customer requirement are the attention of motorcycle taxi online, information system (application), waiting for the time of arrival, completeness of attribute while driving, as well as security and safety guarantee. From the result of QFD, the overall technical response that needs to be done to reach customer needs is online facility to absorb customer feedback, longer service period, and improvement of communication procedure with customers. It is formed by two segments of the customers of motorcycle taxi online namely the segment of empathy and responsiveness.

Abstract

Babat Drinking Water Treatment Plant (IPAM Babat) is one of the clean water facilities for Lamongan community. The process of clean water requires an appropriate processing. This process requires chemicals and energy that it will adverse effects to the environment. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is one of the environmental effects analyze methods for clean water process. The four phases of LCA are Goal And Scope Definition, Life Cycle Inventory, Life Cycle Impact Assessment, and Interpretation. The environmental impacts of the LCA method of processing are divided into three broad categories of impacts, namely the categories of human health, ecosystem quality, and resources. The result of LCA analyzed shows that electrical energy utilization product an environment impact significantly. This impact has consequences on the resource category (fossil fuels) and human health (climate change) due to CO2 combustion. The largest electric consumption is used for tools of pumping water due to the distant length intake and IPAM. The solution for reduced the electric consumption is using the equipment efficiency and water flow system by the power of gravity.

Abstract

Ibu-ibu PKK desa Pesanggrahan memiliki kegiatan ekonomi mandiri berupa memproduksi makanan ringan. Namun dalam kenyataannya usaha tersebut menghadapi beberapa permasalahan, yaitu kemasan produk tanpa label dan pemasaran dilakukan secara offline. Dari permasalahan tersebut, solusi yang ditawarkan adalah memberikan penyuluhan dan melakukan desain kemasan label. Penyuluhan berisi pembahasan tentang perencanaan produksi, strategi pemasaran, dan cara membuat akun bisnis. Kegiatan pengabdian ini melalui beberapa tahap yaitu tahap identifikasi masalah, pelaksanaan kegiatan, monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil yang dirasakan ibu-ibu PKK dari penyuluhan dan desain kemasan adalah menambah keyakinan ibu-ibu untuk merintis usaha, membuka wawasan bahwa media sosial dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kegiatan jual beli, menularkan kegiatan positif kepada ibu-ibu PKK lainnya, dan kemasan memiliki desain label yang menarik. Realisasi ketercapaian dari kegiatan penyuluhan adalah 80%, dan desain label kemasan adalah 90%.

Abstract

Peningkatan inovasi merupakan modal utama untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi yang lebih tinggi, berkelanjutan serta mensejahterakan secara adil dan merata. Salah satu cara pencapaian pertumbuhan ekonomi di desa adalah dengan melakukan pembinaan kelompok-kelompok dalam masyarakat desa. Di desa Bilaporah, Kecamatan Socah, Kabupaten Bangkalan, terdapat perkebunan salak yang memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan. Ibu-ibu PKK pernah mengolah salak menjadi dodol salak. Namun usaha tersebut berhenti dikarenakan kurangnya motivasi masyarakat, dodok salak kurang awet, dan kemasan yang tidak menarik. Sesuai dengan kebiasaan masyarakat Indonesia yang gemar mengkonsumsi makanan ringan, maka dodol salak memiliki peluang untuk dikembangkan. Untuk permasalahan tersebut, solusi yang ditawarkan adalah memfokuskan pada cara memotivasi masyarakat untuk mau melanjutkan usaha mandiri, memberikan pelatihan mengolah dodol yang baik dan benar serta menambahkan natrium benzoate sehingga dodol awet, dan membuat desain label serta kemasan yang menarik. Tahapan pelaksanaan program pengabdian ini adalah tahap penentuan jadwal kegiatan, tahap pelaksanaan, penyuluhan dan pelatihan, monitoring dan keberlanjutan produksi.
