Abstract

The Kenaf plant is a multipurpose plant because the application of its bark in the industry is very high. Indonesia has the largest kenaf plantation in Laren, Lamongan, East Java. The kenaf farmer group in Laren has used a conventional fiber machine to assist in slicing the kenaf stalks. Conventional fiber machine operated by hand. However, the fiber machine is not a priority for farmers to do weeding because the device still has many shortcomings. Therefore, it is necessary to assess the satisfaction of the kenaf farmers with the tool. This study uses the IPA-Kano method to analyze the design attributes of the conventional fiber machine to improve the quality attributes. It determines its user's performance, expectations, satisfaction, and dissatisfaction. According to the integration analysis of the IPA-Kano method, the conventional fiber machine needs to have a more robust frame, better support for the kenaf rods, the ability to leave a small amount of fiber in the kenaf sticks, good ergonomics, the ability to change the height, less fiber left at the cracker joint, and better cracker settings.

Abstract

Covid-19 affects many people's economic activities, one of which is online transportation services. Online transportation service providers must implement health protocols on their services in accordance with government regulations. The purpose of this study was to measure customer satisfaction with the quality of online transportation services in Surabaya during the Covid-19 period. Measurements were carried out by integrating the IPA-Kano method. The results of this measurement are expected to be input for online transportation companies in improving the quality of online transportation services during the Covid-19 period. Based on the IPA analysis, the results of the calculation of the average total value of performance are 3.96 and the average total value of expectations is 4.48. The average total value of performance is smaller than the average total value of expectations. This shows that the performance of online transportation services is still lower than customer expectations. The results of the IPA-Kano integration analysis show that there are 14 attributes that must be maintained and 12 attributes that need to be improved. The priority attributes that need to be improved are drivers providing health protocol tools such as masks and handsanitizers, and drivers having broad insight about the road to be taken.

Abstract

ABSTRAKJamu merupakan kata atau istilah yang tentu sudah tidak asing lagi bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Minuman yang berasal dari tumbuhan herbal ini dipercaya memiliki banyak manfaat yang berguna untuk menambah imunitas tubuh hingga menyembuhkan berbagai penyakit, mulai dari kalangan usia anak-anak hingga dewasa. SN3 Herbal, merupakan salah satu Home Industri penghasil jamu inovasi yang berada di Trenggalek. Jamu yang diproduksi merupakan jamu serbuk, atau jamu siap seduh. Dalam sebulan SN3 Herbal dapat menjual minimal 40 botol. Namun berdasarkan hasil wawancara, mitra menyatakan adanya rasa kurang percaya diri untuk tetap bertahan di era sekarang karena semakin banyaknya produk pesaing yang muncul. mitra jamu merasa harus mampu melakukan pembaruan label kemasannya, karena label kemasannya dirasa kurang menarik dan terlalu sederhana, dan untuk menghasilkan desain label kemasan sebelumnya, mitra harus minta bantuan kepada orang lain untuk mendesainkannya, sehingga akan ada biaya pengeluaran tambahan. Maka dari itu tim pengabdian bersama mahasiswa berupaya untuk memberikan pelatihan desain label kemasan yang lebih menarik kepada mitra, dan pengambilan foto produk agar lebih menarik saat di unggah ke marketplace/ media sosial lainnya, tim pengabdian juga mendampingi selama proses produksi agar serbuk jamu yang dihasilkan benar-benar kering saat dikemas, sehingga jamu serbuk bisa lebih awet. Kata kunci: jamu; pelatihan; desain; foto produk ABSTRACTJamu is a word or term that is certainly familiar to the people of Indonesia. Drinks derived from herbal plants are believed to have many benefits that are useful for increasing the body's immunity to curing various diseases, ranging from children to adults. SN3 Herbal, is one of the Home Industries producing innovative herbal medicine in Trenggalek. The herbs produced are powdered herbs, or ready to brewed herbs. In a month SN3 Herbal can sell a minimum of 40 bottles. However, based on the results of interviews, business people stated that there was a lack of confidence to survive in the current era because of the increasing number of competing products. The herbal medicine business people feel they have to be able to update their packaging labels, because the packaging labels are deemed unattractive and too simple, and to produce the previous packaging label design, the business person must ask for help from others to design it, so there will be additional expenses. Therefore, the community service team with students strives to provide more attractive packaging label design training to business people, and take product photos to make them more attractive when uploaded to the marketplace/other social media, the service team also assists during the production process so that the herbal powder produced completely dry when packaged, so the powdered herbs can last longer. Keywords: herbal; training; design; product photos

Abstract

Buah yang cocok tumbuh di iklim tropis seperti di Indonesia adalah buah rambutan. Tiga wilayah penghasil buah rambutan terbesar di Indonesia adalah Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, dan Jawa Timur. Salah satu penghasil buah rambutan di Jawa Timur adalah Kecamatan Socah. Kecamatan Socah terdiri dari 11 desa, salah satunya adalah Desa Bilaporah. Pohon rambutan sangat mudah ditemui di Desa Bilaporah. Hampir disetiap pekarangan rumah warga terdapat pohon rambutan. Melimpahnya buah rambutan menyebabkan rambutan tidak dapat terkonsumsi seluruhnya sehingga warga terkadang membiarkan rambutan membusuk tidak termanfaatkan. Atas permasalahan tersebut perlu dilakukan inovasi terhadap buah rambutan hasil panen warga Desa Bilaporah. Inovasi tersebut berupa produk camilan dari buah rambutan yaitu dodol rambutan. Kegiatan pengabdian berupa diskusi dengan ibu-ibu PKK, uji coba produkis dodol rambutan, dan edukasi pemasaran online. Kegiatan berjalan lancar dan diikuti secara antusias oleh ibu-ibu PKK. Hambatan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah tidak seluruh ibu-ibu PKK hadir dalam kegiatan pengabdian.

Abstract

Micro-and medium-sized enterprises are the axis of the economy, especially in Indonesia, and have an essential role in supporting the running of the national economy. With the rapid development of technology. Innovation is the primary key to improving a business so that it can compete even on an international scale. This study aims to design a banana chip chopper machine that considers ergonomic values, considering that there are still many banana chip chopper machines sold on the market without considering ergonomic values in the product. They are like the height of the machine, which is different from the average height of the Indonesian people. The chopping process is still manual, and it is challenging to create consistent quality pieces of chips because the slicing is still manual and must adjust to the size of the machine. It does not match the average height of Indonesians, where which can result in injury to the hands and muscles of the hands. Then the study results will show an ergonomic banana-chopping machine with a height and size that match the anthropometric data of Indonesian people

Abstract

ABSTRAKHome industri yang berkembang saat ini mulai merambah ke berbagai sektor, seperti sektor kuliner, kerajinan tangan, dan lain sebagainya. Bergabung ke dalam dunia home industri tidak hanya mampu menjadi tempat untuk memanfaatkan waktu luang, tapi juga bisa meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga karena modal yang digunakan tidak terlalu besar. Desa Gembleb merupakan salah satu desa yang berada di Kecamatan Pogalan Kabupaten Trenggalek. Terdapat banyak bidang UMKM di Desa Gembleb ini seperti UMKM kerajinan tangan (rotan, gerabah, keramik), UMKM makanan, dan lainnya. Tim pengabdian mendatangi salah satu UMKM yang memiliki produk peyek dengan sebutan O-Peyek. Pemilik UMKM menyatakan bahwa semenjak adanya pandemi, kegitan produksi sempat terhenti, sehingga membutuhkan bimbingan khusus untuk memotivasi seluruh anggota agar dapat memproduksi peyek seperti sedia kala, serta untuk melakukan inovasi pada produk O-Peyek agar menjadi produk kekinian yang tidak kalah dengan produk pesaing. Metode yang digunakan pada program ini adalah learning by doing, mulai dari sosialisasi, praktik pembuatan peyek, pengemasan, dan lainnya. Seluruh anggota UMKM merasa sangat antusias selama menjalankan program, dan berupaya untuk mengimplementasikan seluruh ilmu yang diperoleh selama proses pendampingan bersama tim pengabdian UKDC, dan berharap agar pendampingan ini bisa terus dilakukan dilain kesempatan dengan ilmu baru yang sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman. Kata kunci: sosialisasi; UMKM; kuliner; trenggalek ABSTRACTThe home industry that is currently developing is starting to expand into various sectors, such as the culinary sector, handicrafts, and so on. The home industry, which is dominated by mothers, feels that joining the home industry is not only a place to take advantage of free time, but can also improve the family's economy because the capital used is not too large. Gumbleb Village is one of the villages in Pogalan District, Trenggalek Regency. The cohesiveness between the people is still very much felt in this village, so it is not surprising that there are many UMKM. There are many UMKM fields in Gumbleb Village, such as handicraft UMKM (rattan, pottery, ceramics), food UMKM, and others. This research will focus on efforts to develop Peyek UMKM which were stopped due to the Covid 19 pandemic. So that the service team must carry out outreach to re-activate the enthusiasm of local UMKM actors. The Head of Gumbleb Village, has also provided a kiosk located at Condro Geni Tourism as an effort to restore the local community's economy. Abstract

Pesanggrahan Village is a village in Laren District, Lamongan. The place is located on the banks of the Bengawan Solo River. Banana trees are among the flora that the locals have planted. The abundant produce of the banana garden has prompted PKK women from Pesanggrahan village to take the initiative to develop a snack product made from unripe bananas. Based on the conditions in the field, there are problems in banana chip production activities; namely, the banana slicer used is still traditional. The banana slicer is only a board with two blades that are operated manually. This condition requires a long time to complete the slicing. In addition, the slicer is not ergonomic, so it has a great chance of injuring the worker's hand. If the slicing section gets tired and lacks patience, they use a thicker slicer to finish the job quickly. A modern and ergonomic banana-slicing machine has been developed to streamline work activities and safety. The PKK in Pesanggrahan village gave the banana-slicing machine a positive review for height. It produces banana slices that are more uniformly thin and safe and cuts bananas more quickly.

Abstract

Keterbatasan sumber daya air, meningkatnya permintaan air, dan polusi sumber daya air menjadi tugas besar yang perlu di pikirkan oleh Instalasi Pengolahan Air Minum (IPAM). Metode sistematis untuk mengidentifikasi, mengukur, dan menilai aspek dan dampak potensial lingkungan melalui seluruh siklus hidup suatu produk, proses atau aktivitas dapat menggunakan metode Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Analisis dampak lingkungan yang dihasilkan dari metode LCA dapat menjadi masukan dalam melakukan perbaikan kualitas pengolahan air bersih dari segi lingkungan. Salah satu metode perbaikan kualitas adalah Quality Function Deployment (QFD). penelitian ini bermaksud mengimplementasikan perbaikan yang perlu dilakukan oleh pihak IPAM Babat dalam mengurangi potensi pencemaran lingkungan serta memanfaatkan kembali limbah dari pengolahan IPAM. Perbaikan yang telah diterapkan selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan LCA untuk mengetahui dampak lingkungan yang ditimbulkan dan membandingkan besar dampak lingkungan sebelum dan setelah perbaikan diimplementasikan. Keseluruhan dampak mengalami penurunan nilai setelah dilakukan pencampuran air lumpur buangan pada proses produksi air bersih selama 30 menit. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam menghasilkan 1 kg air bersih dengan pengolahan kembali air lumpur buangan dapat mengurangi dampak fossil fuels, carcinogens, respiratory organics, respiratory inorganics, climate change, radiation, ozone layer, excotoxity, acidification/eutropication, land use, dan minerals.

Abstract

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a method used to analyze the impact of a product on the environment during the product life cycle. LCA itself can also be said as an approach to measure the environmental impact caused by company activities, then the production process, and finally waste management. LCA aims to make a study of the impact of recycling a product on the area and provide detailed data for the consumption of materials and energy during the creation period. There are several benefits from implementing this LCA, namely saving energy and raw materials, cheaper distribution costs, and many more benefits from implementing this LCA, especially in companies whose products produce quite a lot of waste. At the LCA stage, the entire series in the product life cycle is always considered. In research activities, LCA is an added value to provide information on the environmental impacts that occur from the research process and then produce the product of the research itself.

Abstract

Shampoo is a human need that is used to clean the scalp and hair. Shampoo is usually used every 2-3 days to keep hair clean and healthy. It contains proplene glycol; diethanolamine; triethanolamine; sodium lauryl sulfate; parabens; sodium chloride. However, there are still many people who do not understand the importance of shampoo and measuring their level of satisfaction with the product. By measuring the level of consumer satisfaction, product/service providers can make changes to their products/services so that they can affect them effectively in people's lives. This journal will discuss the level of public satisfaction with Korean viral shampoo. The level of community satisfaction can be demonstrated using the Kano Model research method. The survey will be conducted with a sample of 64 respondents who come from different backgrounds but understanding the performance of Korean viral shampoos. The resulting data will be implemented in the required variable table by providing functional and dysfunctional questions. The results of the data show that Korean viral shampoo does not require overhauling in terms of quality, performance or characteristics because the level of customer satisfaction cannot affect it.
