Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to find out how to design a student-centered curriculum, its principles, advantages and disadvantages. This research uses a qualitative method, the type of method used is library research. The results of this study are that there are 3 designs and developments, centered curriculum designs are divided into 3 namely alternative school designs, humanistic designs and activities and experience centered designs. An alternative design in PAI learning using a student-centered curriculum design can be done by running a problem solving system. For example, students are invited to discuss solving moral problems about anger. The use of humanistic design in PAI learning in a student-centered design can be used by dividing students based on the students' interests in the focus of PAI learning materials. The teacher teaches the material and gives discussion assignments. design is centered on experience which is difficult to apply not only in PAI subjects but in almost all subjects. The most important of these designs, students must want the material itself. Educators must teach each student with a focus on the material each student chooses and likes.

Abstract

Abstract Efforts in the development of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum continue to be made so that it is relevant to the times and is able to equip students in solving life's increasingly complex problems. The problems of human life need to be solved through cooperation because they are aware of each other's shortcomings, which is in line with the concept of integration-interconnection. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with library research. The results of the data analysis show that the integrative-interconnective approach in the development of the PAI curriculum contains a process of uniting religious knowledge with other branches of knowledge which have been considered dichotomous by looking at the reality of the problem more comprehensively, so as to be able to understand plurality with various disciplines. The integration of religious education and general education in schools that implement this curriculum is able to guide the morals and morals of students and provide skills to students that are not offered in public schools.

Abstract

Abstract, Curriculum development has a strong philosophical foundation so that goals can develop clearly and precisely. So that philosophical principles and other principles are needed in the development of an Islamic religious education curriculum. This writing aims to find out the philosophical principles in the development of the Islamic religious education curriculum. This writing method uses literature review and manages data with descriptive analysis in an objective and systematic way. The results of this research are that the philosophical principles in curriculum development have philosophical goals and that national education is used as the basis for formulating institutional goals in producing educational institution curricula. As for the philosophical schools in the development of the Islamic religious education curriculum, these principles include perennialism, essentialism, existentialism, progressivism, reconstructionism. The conclusion from this study is that the philosophical principles in the development of the Islamic religious education curriculum contribute to the development of the curriculum, both theoretically and practically.

Abstract

Metode pembelajaran yang kurang menarik dan interaktif serta tidak sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi dapat mengakibatkan rendahnya minat dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran agama Islam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif, efektif, dan sesuai dengan landasan metode pembelajaran yang akan memenuhi kebutuhan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian kepustakaan, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui analisis kritis terhadap literatur yang relevan, meliputi jurnal, buku, dan artikel ilmiah yang terkait dengan metode pembelajaran dalam pendidikan agama Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, berbasis teknologi, dan sesuai dengan konteks perkembangan siswa dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran agama Islam, proses pendidikan agama Islam tetap memerlukan metode yang tepat dan benar agar dapat berhasil, meskipun metode pembelajaran bukan satu-satunya faktor penentu keberhasilan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga bagi para pendidik dan pembuat kebijakan dalam upaya mereka untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agama Islam sehingga lebih relevan dan menarik bagi generasi muda.

Abstract

Islamic religious education in Indonesia has undergone various changes in the development of its curriculum. Education itself has an important and influential role in changing a person. In the context of the moral and moral crisis that is currently sweeping Indonesia, education is expected to help overcome the current crisis. Seeing these problems, the perennialism approach in the development of the Islamic religious education curriculum aims to maintain traditional values that are considered to have eternal and universal truths. In this approach, the curriculum is designed to focus on fundamental values such as faith, morals, and worship, as well as the formation of strong character and good morals. Effective and efficient teaching methods, such as discussion, question and answer, and problem solving, are also emphasized in this approach. It needs to be adapted to the conditions of the times so that traditional values remain relevant in modern life.

Abstract

Religious education in schools is felt to be less than optimal, because in practice it tends to only pay attention to cognitive aspects, while affective aspects do not get adequate attention. This imbalance results in a gap between knowledge and practice, between theory and practice in real life. Religious education in schools that are theoretical and normative in nature does not provide experience and practice of religious teachings in the lives of students. This study aims to reveal the development of Islamic religious education in an integrated manner in Islamic Junior High School Yogyakarta. This study uses a qualitative descriptive exploratory approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that Islamic religious education at the Yogyakarta Islamic Junior High School uses an integrative curriculum that combines the national curriculum with the Islamic boarding school curriculum. The implementation of the integrative curriculum is carried out through the integration of Islamic values ​​and linking the subject matter to the needs and values ​​of students' lives.

Abstract

Pengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) bertujuan untuk menciptakan pendidikan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan zaman. Mengintegrasikan asas ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dalam pengembangan kurikulum PAI memungkinkan pembelajaran agama yang lebih kontekstual, dinamis, dan relevan, tanpa mengabaikan nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui asas IPTEK dalam pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan agama Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kepustakaan (library Reseach). Teknik Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan membaca artikel publikasi ilmiah dan buku terbitan yang berkaitan dengan topik yang dibahas. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deduktif. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa Asas Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK) dalam pengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam memiliki peran penting untuk memastikan relevansi materi pendidikan dengan perkembangan zaman. Mengintegrasian asas IPTEK dalam kurikulum PAI bertujuan menciptakan generasi yang mampu beradaptasi dengan tantangan global melalui penguasaan teknologi dan ilmu pengetahuan. Asas IPTEK dalam pengembangan kurikulum PAI juga harus diarahkan untuk membangun generasi yang beriman, bertakwa, dan berdaya saing global. Namun, mereka juga mengingatkan pentingnya menjaga keseimbangan antara kemajuan teknologi dan penanaman nilai-nilai moral Islam. Dengan pendekatan ini, kurikulum PAI dapat menciptakan individu yang tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual, tetapi juga berintegritas dalam menjalankan perannya di tengah masyarakat modern

Abstract

Despite the recognition of equality as a fundamental human right in both the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Indonesian law, its implementation is often obstructed by various human rights violations. Many human rights cases remain unresolved, thus becoming a historical burden. This study investigates human rights issues from the perspectives of Islamic law and education, drawing on the principles of Maqashid as-Shari'ah and a theo-anthropocentric framework. The research aims to identify the gap between the ideal human rights norms and their actual application in society. A qualitative approach, using a prescriptive method, is employed to analyze normative principles and their practical implications through text analysis and literature review. The findings suggest that, while human rights are inherent to every individual, with the principle of equality before the law, their implementation encounters significant structural and cultural obstacles. The study also highlights the vital role of Islamic education in cultivating awareness and respect for human rights from an early age. This research contributes to bridging the divide between Islamic law and global human rights frameworks, advocating for the integration of ethical and humanistic principles into the Islamic legal and educational systems to address human rights challenges. By promoting democratic values and respect for human rights, Islamic education plays a critical role in fostering a more just and equitable society.

Abstract

Technological advances bring new challenges for receptionists, such as Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) and high social media engagement. This study aims to explore self-management strategies in dealing with FOMO challenges and increasing healthy social media engagement in the dormitory environment. This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with 6 students who are included in the respondent criteria from the Strensains Islamic boarding school in the Sragen area. Data analysis was carried out using the NVIVO12 application and data use was carried out using the interactive data analysis model from Miles which consists of three stages, namely: coding, data reduction, data presentation and finally drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that students develop various effective self-management strategies. First, students try to maintain daily routines in training, such as worship, study, and other activities. Second, students limit the use of exercise and social media, which are the main sources of exposure to content that triggers FOMO. Third, students develop interests and hobbies outside of social media, such as sports, arts, or extracurricular activities. The findings of the study contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the psychological dynamics of students in dealing with digital challenges. The identified self-management strategies can be a model for other centers in managing social media use and preventing the negative impacts of FOMO. This study also provides practical implications for nurses in nursing homes in designing training programs that support centers in using social media wisely and enhancing healthy social engagement in the training environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the urgency of diagnostic assessment in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. The background of this research lies in the low quality of PAI learning, which remains predominantly cognitive-oriented while neglecting the integration of knowledge, religious attitudes, and worship skills. This study employed a library research method with content analysis using the Miles Huberman interactive model. The findings reveal four main urgencies of diagnostic assessment. First, it supports differentiated learning by mapping students’ initial abilities. Second, it provides the foundation for remediation and enrichment according to learners’ needs. Third, it increases learning motivation by aligning instruction with students’ conditions. Fourth, it fosters Islamic character formation through the integration of cognitive and non-cognitive. These results affirm that diagnostic assessment is not merely a technical tool but a fundamental strategy to achieve national education goals and support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.
