Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the collaboration and creativity abilities of students using the STEAM model. This study uses a pre- experimental method with a one-group pretest posttest design. This research was conducted in one of the senior high schools (SMA) in Sukabumi Regency. The subjects in this study were class XII MIPA 2 with 32 participants. The instrument used was a Likert scale statement questionnaire on 4 answer scales. The statements consist 13 statements for collaboration and 14 statements for creativity. This questionnaire was given to students before and after learning the concept of biotechnology. The resul showed that average N-Gain for collaborative indicators are 0.30-0.55 with a moderate improvement category, and on creativity abilities with an average N-Gain score per indicator that is 0.31- 0.60 with the moderate improvements. As well as on the average results of the overall N-Gain score for collaboration, which is 0.45 in the moderate improvement category, and for creativity with an N-Gain score of 0.47 in the medium category. From the research data, it can be concluded that the collaboration and creativity abilities of students in learning using the STEAM model are included in the moderate improvement category. Key words: Collaboration, Creativity, STEAM Model   ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kemampuan kolaborasi dan kreativitas peserta didik dengan menggunakan model STEAM. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pra eksperimen dengan desain one gruoup pretest posttes desain. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) yang berada di Kabupaten Sukabumi. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu peserta kelas XII MIPA 2 dengan jumlah peserta didik 32. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket pernyataan skala likert pada 4 skala jawaban. Pernyataan berjumlah 13 pernyataan untuk kolaborasi dan 14 pernyataan untuk kreativitas. Kuisioner ini diberikan kepada peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran konsep bioteknologi. Hasil penelitan rata-rata skor N-Gain peserta didik untuk kolaborasi perindikator yaitu 0.30-0,55 dengan kategori peningkatan sedang, dan pada kemampuan kreativitas dengan skor N-Gain rata-rata per indikator yaitu 0,31- 0,60 dengan kategori peningkatan sedang. Serta pada hasil rata-rata skor N- Gain keseluruhan untuk kolaborasi yaitu 0,45 dengan kategori peningkatan sedang, dan untuk kreativitas dengan skor N-Gain 0,47 dengan kategori sedang. Dari data penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan kolaborasi dan kreativitas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menggunakan model STEAM termasuk dalam kategori peningkatan sedang.  Kata kunci: Kolaborasi, Kreativitas, Model STEAM

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of students' computational thinking skills in terms of the three dominant multiple intelligences in a sample. This type of research is descriptive research, with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students of class XI in one of the MAN Sukabumi City. The sample in this study was 30 students of class XI. The data collection used is a test in the form of multiple choice questions as many as 13 questions that include indicators of computational thinking skills and student response questionnaires to the STEM model based on multiple intelligences. From the results of data analysis, students with interpersonal intelligence have good criteria for computational thinking skills with an average score of 71%, with 86% intrapersonal intelligence with very good criteria, and 77% with good criteria for mathematical intelligence. Overall, students have a good response to the STEM model based on multiple intelligences. It can be concluded that the students' computational thinking skills by being treated with intelligence-based STEM models in one of the MAN Sukabumi City have good criteria. Key words: Computational thinking skills, STEM, multiple intelligence   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkatan keterampilan berpikir komputasi peserta didik ditinjau dari tiga kecerdasan majemuk dominan pada suatu sampel. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI di salah satu MAN Kota Sukabumi. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 30 peserta didik kelas XI. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan tes dalam bentuk soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 13 butir soal yang mencakup indikator keterampilan berpikir komputasi dan angket respon peserta didik terhadap model STEM berbasis kecerdasan majemuk. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh peserta didik dengan kecerdasan interpersonal memiliki keterampilan berpikir komputasi berkriteria baik dengan skor rata-rata 71%, dengan kecerdasan intrapersonal 86% berkriteria sangat baik, dan dengan kecerdasan matematis 77% berkriteria baik. Secara keseluruhan peserta didik memiliki respon yang baik terhadap model STEM berbasis kecerdasan majemuk. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir komputais peserta didik dengan diberi perlakuan model STEM berbasis kecerdasarn  di salah satu MAN Kota Sukabumi berkriteria baik. Abstract

The aimed of this research is to analyze the influence of the double loop problem solving (DLPS) model on students' spatial reasoning abilities in digestive system subjects. The research used a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. SMAN 1 Ciemas students' ability to think spatially is the variable that is measured. Research was led in two classes on the subject of the digestive system in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. Before being handed over to students, all questions are validated by experts and then used with the help of research applications to find research results. The research data was tested for normality and homogeneity and finally the research hypothesis was tested using the Mann-Whitney test. The results of the research show that the DLPS model can influence students' spatial thinking abilities in class XI digestive system material at SMAN 1 Ciemas. In conclusion, the DLPS learning model with students' spatial thinking abilities can be an effective solution to face the progress of 21st century education. Abstract

Background: The lack of interpersonal communication skills of students will affect the learning process (teachers and students) looking for ways to take advantage of other learning models so that the learning process continues to run interestingly and remain meaningful. This study aims to develop a project-based learning model on human digestive system material in class VIII students at MTs Raudhatul Ikhwan. Methods: The development of this Project based learning model follows nurohman's development model. The stages of the model are the identification of potentials and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trial, product revision, usage trial, product revision. Results: Data from this study were obtained from validation by two experts, which were then tested on 38 class VIII learners and teachers at MTs Raudhatul Ikhwan. In cycle 1, the final data was obtained by around 71% and the second cycle increased to 78% so that the project-based learning so that the project based learning learning model deserves to be used as a learning medium with good categories. Abstract

Background: This research is entitled The Effect of Cooperative Script Metacognitive Learning Model (CSM) on Students' Cognitive Ability at SMAN 1 Cibadak. Thesis, Department of Biology Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Sukabumi, 2013. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the CSM learning model on students' cognitive abilities. Methods: The method used in this research was quasi-experimental method with research design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Cibadak in the academic year 2012/2013. Sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. Two classes from seven classes of X grade students. One class received learning with CSM model as the experimental group and one class received learning with Cooperative Learning model as the control class. The research subjects totaled 75 students, 38 students in the experimental class and 37 students in the control class. The instrument used to collect data in this study was a multiple choice test in accordance with the cognitive indicators of biology on environmental pollution material. Results: The results of this study indicate that the CSM learning model has an effect on students' cognitive abilities significantly, seen from hypothesis testing using t-test calculations, obtained tcount = 3.83 and ttable of 1.99 with a significance level (α) = 0.05 and degrees of freedom 73. Because tcount> ttable, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Conclusion: Based on the results of the analysis of the difference in the average score of student learning outcomes at each cognitive level, it shows that the application of the CSM learning model has a significant effect on students' cognitive abilities. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari beberapa permasaahan peserta didik dalam hal kreativitas yang masih belum optimal. Ini ditunjukkan oleh fakta bahwa guru sering mendominasi kegiatan pembelajaran didalam kelas. Sehingga peserta didik belum mamp untuk mengembangkan kreativitasnya degan menciptakan dan memberikan ide atau gagasan, kurang percaya diri pada hasil karya sendiri, dan takut mencoba. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi model pembelajaran STEM terhadap kreativitas melalui ecoprint. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan hasil pengolahan data dimuat dalam bentuk tabel. Desain penelitian kali ini menggunakan pre-eksperimental dengan sampel kelas X semester genap di SMA Negeri 1 Kabandungan pada materi plantae, instrument yang digunakan antara lain lembar kuesioner, angket respon dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran STEM melalui projek ecoprint mempengaruhi kreativitas peserta didik. Hal ini dapat ditinjau dari nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh dari setiap indikator kreativitas dengan nilai 70 dikategorikan baik. Kemudian didukung dengan respon peserta didik dengan nilai rata-rata 75 dengan kategori baik.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of student enthusiasm towards entrepreneurship due to the lack of activities that foster entrepreneurial personality. The research aims to examine the influence of biotechnology-based bio entrepreneurship on students' enthusiasm and entrepreneurial personality. A quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group was used, involving class X students at SMAN 1 Cireunghas, Sukabumi district. Questionnaires were administered to collect data. Results showed that in the experimental group, 81% of students demonstrated a high level of enthusiasm with an N-Gain score of 0.81, increasing from a pretest average of 73.13 to a posttest average of 93.7. Regarding entrepreneurial personality, 79% of students exhibited high scores, with an N-Gain of 0.79, improving from a pretest average of 82.97 to a posttest average of 97.3. Hypothesis testing revealed significant differences between the experimental and control groups, with a significance level of 0.003 for enthusiasm and 0.020 for entrepreneurial personality (p < 0.05). Thus, biotechnology-based bio entrepreneurship positively influences both the enthusiasm and entrepreneurial personality of students.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan workshop terkait literasi numerasi terintegrasi nilai dengan peserta Guru-guru Biologi dan IPA di Kota dan Kabupaten Sukabumi sebanyak 97 orang. Adapun metode yang dilaksanakan adalah ceramah bervariasi, demonstrasi, simulasi dan diskusi. Pada akhir kegiatan dilakukan evaluasi kegiatan menggunakan formulir yang mengukur mengenai kesesuaian kegiatan pengabdian dengan kebutuhan mitra, kesesuaian materi dengan tujuan pelatihan, manfaat yang didapatkan oleh peserta, dan beberapa poin lain yang menyatakan respon peserta setelah mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian. Selain itu dilakukan juga respon tindak lanjut dari peserta setelah satu bulan kegiatan dilaksanakan. Adapun respon yang diperoleh dari peserta adalah sebanyak 84,6% peserta menyatakan maksud dan tujuan materi tersampaikan dengan jelas, 84, 6 % peserta menyatakan pemaparan materi diterima dengan baik, 80, 8 % peserta menyatakan materi yang disampaikan menarik, 80,8 % peserta menyampaikan teknik pelatihan tersampaikan dengan jelas dan sistematis, 100 % peserta menyampaikan pelatihan bermanfaat, 84,6 % peserta menyampaikan pelatihan menarik dan mudah dipahami. Pelatihan ini memberikan manfaat bagi guru untuk mengajarkan literasi numerasi kepada siswa pada pembelajaran teori dan praktikum serta evaluasinya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the students’ higher order thinking skills with the aid of Augmented Reality as the learning media in one of the high school in Sukabumi regent. Higher order thinking skills are students’ abilities in processing and analyzing the problems then to find the best solutions in which students can restate based on their logical argumentations. The method used in study is a pre-experimental design. The research design used was a one-group pretest posttest design  with purposive sampling technique. This was conducted to the XI graders in 2020/2021 academic year. The instrument used was multiple choice test. The result of the data analysis shows that Augmented Reality could train students’ higher order thinking skills seen from the improvement of the pretest and posttest of the study starting from the low category to good and very good category. It is concluded that the use of Augmented Reality as learning media can improve students’ higher order thinking skills and is useful for the continuity of teaching and learning processes focusing on learning outcomes.

Abstract

Bamboo Winden Park memiliki luas tanah 3 Ha dan terdapat 25 jenis tanaman bamboo yang 13 diantaranya sudah teridentifikasi taksonominya, sarana dan prasarana yang terkendala oleh biaya dan disusul oleh adanya Pandemi COVID-19 sehingga menyebabkan tempat wisata tersebut hiatus. Tujuan dari program ini adalah mengembangkan tempat wisata tersebut dengan menerapkan teknologi EDCOR (Education Code Qr). Program ini dilakukan dengan empat tahapan yaitu : Tahap Koordinasi Perencanaan Pelaksanaan Program, Tahap Persiapan, Tahap Pelaksaan, dan Tahap Evaluasi. EDCOR (Education code QR) telah berhasil dikembangkan di Bamboo Winden Park. EDCOR yang dirancang dapat memudahkan pengguna dalam mendapatkan informasi. Selain itu, dengan adanya EDCOR (Educational Code QR) diyakini dapat menjadi ciri khas di tempat wisata Bamboo Winden Park. EDCOR (Education Code Qr) Innovation Technology Application Program at Bamboo Winden Park Tourist Attractions Waluran Geopark Ciletuh Palabuhan Ratu Bamboo Winden Park has a land area of ??3 hectares and there are 25 types of bamboo plants of which 13 have been identified by taxonomy, facilities, and infrastructure are constrained by costs and followed by the COVID-19 pandemic, causing the tourist attractions to go on hiatus. The purpose of this program is to develop these tourist attractions by applying EDCOR (Education Code Qr) technology. This program is carried out in four stages, namely: the Coordination Stage of Program Implementation Planning, the Preparation Stage, the Implementation Stage, and the Evaluation Stage. EDCOR (Education code QR) has been successfully developed at Bamboo Winden Park. EDCOR is designed to make it easier for users to get information. In addition, the existence of EDCOR (Educational Code QR) is believed to be a characteristic of Bamboo Winden Park tourist attractions.
