Abstract

Output Based Learning (OutBaL): A Complete Research Learning is structured as a complete innovative approach to research learning, which does not only end up with research reports, but continues until the realization of research outputs in the form of scientific publications, such as journal articles, proceedings or monograph books are realized. With the publication of student research findings, the innovations found can be used directly by the community, both for application and further research. Complete learning to output like this is also expected to have a big positive impact on the development of higher education, both in terms of student and lecturer performance. Keywords: output based learning; complete research learning

Abstract

Until now, most authors in the field of health still publish research articles, even though there are still many types of non-research articles that can be published in scientific journals. In this case it is necessary to understand that in addition to the results of research, the results of critical and innovative thinking are very important to be known by the scientific community. Thus, the authors are expected to learn more about the procedures for writing non-research articles, including examining the specific writing methods that have been determined by each journal. Abstract

In community empowerment research, categorical variables both in the form of nominal and ordinal scales are often involved. The purpose of these tips is to provide information on how to distinguish nominal and ordinal variables, so that data interpretation errors do not occur. In principle, to distinguish nominal and ordinal variables, the first step is to ensure that there is a dichotomy which means variables at nominal scale; if there are more than two categories, a second step is taken, namely to ensure that there are differences in degree between categories which means the variables are ordinal scale. Keywords: categorical variable, nominal scale; ordinal scale; distinguishing

Abstract

Physical activity is very important for people with diabetes mellitus because it is associated with the speed of recovery of muscle blood sugar. The purpose of the literature is to determine the effect of physical activity in reducing blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The method used is a traditional review with the sample being accredited national journals, with inclusion criteria, national and international journals from different databases and related variables, with The research design was quasi-experimental and cross-sectional, a journal published in 2010-2020. The results showed that physical activity was carried out, prolanis exercise, brisk walking for 30 minutes, light walking for 30 minutes, fitness for the elderly, the results of blood sugar levels before doing physical activity had the lowest average value of 108 mg/dl and the average value the highest is 248 mg/dl, blood sugar levels after physical activity have the lowest average value of 102 mg/dl and the highest average value is 187 mg/dl, there is an effect of prolanis exercise, brisk walking for 30 minutes, light walking 30 minutes, elderly fitness exercise on decreasing blood sugar levels with p values ??in a row: p=0.027, p=0.002, p=0.000, p=0.000. Physical activity can significantly reduce blood glucose levels if it is done regularly, structured and continuously in an appropriate time.
