Abstract

The financial report is a vital tool for acquiring insights into a company's financial position and business performance. Through financial statement analysis, crucial indicators pertaining to the company's financial health are unveiled, rendering it a valuable resource for guiding financial decision-making processes and offering a comprehensive portrayal of the company's performance. This study evaluates the financial performance of PT Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia Tbk. and forecasts the company's sales turnover over the next five years. This research adopts a quantitative descriptive approach, utilizing secondary data spanning from 2018 to 2022 from the PT Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia Tbk. The data analysis process encompasses several stages, including (i) Ratio Analysis of Financial Reports from 2018 to 2022, (ii) Compilation of sales data, (iii) Projections of sales figures using the least squares method, and (iv) Forecasting profits for the period from 2023 to 2027. The findings of this study indicate that the PT Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia Tbk. is facing challenges in its financial performance, as the ratio values consistently fall below industry-standard financial metrics. However, the company has demonstrated resilience in maintaining its profitability levels, evidenced by a 6% increase in profit percentage in 2021 compared to 2020. This can be attributed to the company's consistent profit generation efforts, resulting in year-on-year profit growth.

Abstract

Ellak Daya Village is one of the villages in Lenteng sub-district, Sumenep Regency with dry land/fields 63.3% of the total land with commodity crops of Corn, Beans, Soybeans, Rice and herbal chilies, which are only capable of maximum production in rainy season during the dry season the fields/dry land in Ellak Daya are less productive. This condition is one of the triggers for Ellak Village to be a village with the potential for extreme poverty, based on an analysis of the identified problems, namely: Problems in the field of management. Arranging planting patterns and irrigation schedule systems, in the processing sector, namely the absence of effective and cheap irrigation facilities and the absence of irrigation methods. The aim of training and mentoring is carried out so that farmer groups have the skills to regulate planting patterns, have management skills in irrigation schedules, apply technology. solar cell pump with energy sources from nature. Activities that have been carried out in the form of training and mentoring are: FGD, socialization, training and mentoring which will be carried out from 26 September to 20 November 2023 at the village hall and at the farmer group's house. The problems in this activity are: the partner's age is 50 years and over, and their education level is still low. Achievement of targets in training and mentoring in this program is measured by giving a Pre Test and Post test. Conduct training. 100% of participants know about the procedures for planting patterns and 40% understand how to set planting patterns, participants who attend training and mentoring activities on average above 65% of the total number of members

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of financial literacy, business networking, and entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Surabaya, with market orientation as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach was employed, and data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 99 MSME owners and managers. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was applied to analyze the data. The results indicate that financial literacy and entrepreneurial orientation significantly enhance MSME performance, whereas business networking shows no significant impact. Furthermore, market orientation does not moderate the relationship between financial literacy or business networking and MSME performance. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening entrepreneurs’ financial capabilities and entrepreneurial orientation to improve MSME competitiveness and sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how compensation, competence, job placement, and work environment influence employee performance, with motivation acting as an intervening variable. The research is conducted within the context of the cigarette industry in Pasuruan, Indonesia. Given the industry's challenges, such as rising excise taxes and regulatory pressures, it is crucial to understand these organizational factors to enhance workforce effectiveness. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The study involved 52 technical employees electronic division at PT XYZ, selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed with SmartPLS 3.0. The findings show that compensation has a significant effect on employee performance. In contrast, competence, work environment, and job placement have no significant direct effect on employee performance. Compensation, competence, and job placement do not significantly affect motivation, while work environment has a significant positive effect on motivation. Furthermore, motivation significantly improves employee performance. Regarding the mediating role of motivation, the results indicate that motivation does not mediate the relationship between compensation and performance, competence and performance, nor job placement and performance. However, motivation is proven to mediate the effect of work environment on performance. These findings emphasize the strategic importance of creating a supportive work environment and enhancing motivation to improve employee performance.

Abstract

The performance of health workers is very important because it is directly related to public health services in Surabaya, Indonesia. This research study aims to analyze the influence of quality of work life, organizational communication, and work discipline on employee performance with work motivation as an intervening variable at the Surabaya City Health Office. Research method a quantitative approach using the PLS-SEM. Data collection via questionnaires. The samples are 122 civil servants who work at the Surabaya Health Office. The analysis results show that work discipline and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable. Quality of work life and organizational communication do not have a significant effect, either directly or through work motivation as an intervening variable, on employee performance at the Surabaya City Health Office. This research found that work motivation is effective as a mediator in the relationship between work discipline and performance. This finding emphasizes the importance of improving discipline as a key strategy in strengthening motivation and driving employee performance. Meanwhile, strategies for improving organizational communication and the quality of work life need to be re-evaluated to be more effective in significantly influencing employee motivation and work results.
