Abstract

Penelitian ini mendiskusikan rancangan strategi GAHAR dalam pembelajaran drama di perguruan tinggi. Strategi GAHAR dirancang untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang sistematis, kolaboratif, dan kreatif sehingga mampu meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam memahami, menginterpretasi, dan menampilkan drama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan konseptual dengan mengintegrasikan teori pembelajaran kreatif, seni pertunjukan, dan teknologi. Fokus utama penelitian ini menggambarkan langkah-langkah implementasi strategi GAHAR, mulai dari perencanaan, pembagian tugas, latihan, evaluasi, hingga pementasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan strategi GAHAR mampu menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang holistik dengan melibatkan berbagai dimensi keterampilan, seperti penguasaan bahasa tubuh, ekspresi emosi, pengelolaan dialog, dan penguatan kerja sama tim. Selain itu, penggunaan teknologi Virtual Reality (VR), pada tahap latihan dan pementasan memberikan pengalaman imersif yang mendukung proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, strategi ini relevan dengan kebutuhan era digital, sekaligus mengatasi tantangan dalam pembelajaran seni di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the myth of masculinity in novels such as Dendam, Rindu Harus Dibayar Tuntas, and its influence on the characters' personalities, as well as the implications of the characters' personalities formed by the myth of masculinity on the conflict in the novel. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a literature study and document study method. This study employs Roland Barthes' theory of semiotics to analyze myths in novels, John Beynon's theory of masculinity to categorize the myth of masculinity in novels, and Sigmund Freud's theory of personality structure to examine the impact of the myth of masculinity on the character's personality. Furthermore, conflict theory in literary works is used to analyze the implications of the myth of masculinity on conflict in novels. The results of the study reveal that the novel encompasses six aspects of masculinity that influence the id, ego, and superego. Such personality structures trigger internal and external conflicts. Based on the analysis results, it is concluded that Uttas untangles the myth of masculinity in the novel Seperti Dendam, Rindu Harus Dibayar, examining its psychological, social, and political aspects. This novel also addresses the issue of toxic masculinity, a topic that deserves attention and action in society. Such complexity is evident in the novel Seperti Dendam, Rindu Harus Dibayar Tuntas. It is a work that can serve as inspiration and a means of human reflection on community issues that have been considered ordinary and commonplace, prompting a re-examination of their relevance to the current situation.

Abstract

This study explored the commodification of polygamy in the Air Mata Surga (AMS) movie, adapted from the Air Mata Tuhan novel. The movie was selected for a number of reasons. Firstly, it is an effective transformation medium to reach people with distinctive back­grounds, including their age, social status, domicile, education, culture, language, and even religion. Secondly, polygamy is considered sacred as it is correlated with religion. However, in the industrial sector, polygamy becomes a profane commodity once it is taken as a theme in a movie. Therefore, this study investigated the commodification types of polygamy in the AMS movie and society’s reception of those commodification. The researcher used the obser­vation technique on material objects in a novel and film and also created a questionnaire using Google Form. The research participants came from Malang, Surakarta, and Jakarta, Indo­nesia. The results show that the commodification observed in the AMS movies consists of both content and audience commodification. Meanwhile, polygamy was used by the pro­duction house as a means to gain revenue and to transform ideology, both in the novel and in the movie. The findings also suggest that 78 percent of participants mentioned that their viewpoint toward polygamy shifted after watching the movie.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap konstruksi identitas kuliner Jawa Timur dalam Kumpulan Cerpen Festival Sastra Kota Malang 2024. Kajian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terbatasnya penelitian yang secara spesifik menempatkan kuliner sebagai konstruksi identitas regional dalam teks sastra kontemporer. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan gastrokritik yang memandang makanan sebagai simbol kultural. Sumber data berupa empat cerpen terpilih dalam antologi Jelajah Cita Rasa. Teknik analisis data melalui pembacaan kritis-hermeneutik dengan tahapan identifikasi, kategorisasi, interpretasi, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nasi gegog, nasi golong, rajamangsa atau petis, rujak cingur, dan jamu tradisional dikonstruksi bukan sekadar sebagai elemen latar, melainkan sebagai perangkat naratif yang membentuk karakter, menggerakkan konflik, dan merepresentasikan nilai ketahanan, spiritualitas, solidaritas komunal, serta transformasi sosial masyarakat Jawa Timur. Kuliner dalam empat cerpen Jelajah Cita Rasa berfungsi sebagai arena negosiasi identitas regional yang dinamis, tempat memori historis, relasi kuasa, dan praktik budaya direpresentasikan serta direinterpretasikan dalam konteks kontemporer. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa sastra berperan sebagai medium produksi dan reproduksi identitas kultural melalui representasi kuliner lokal.
