Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini mengkaji pemanfaatan lahan sempit untuk budidaya Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA) di Desa Bligo, Kecamatan Candi, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, yang memiliki keterbatasan lahan akibat tingginya kepadatan penduduk dan pembangunan infrastruktur. pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan memberikan solusi inovatif dengan memanfaatkan ruang sempit secara efektif melalui penanaman TOGA. Metode yang digunakan mencakup sosialisasi kepada masyarakat, pembuatan rak tanaman, tong komposer untuk pengolahan sampah organik, dan penanaman bibit TOGA dengan teknik vertikultur dan polibag. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan lahan sempit ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya TOGA tetapi juga memberikan manfaat ekonomi dan kesehatan. Penanaman TOGA pada rak-rak di depan rumah warga mampu mengoptimalkan lahan terbatas sekaligus memperindah lingkungan. Evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan keberhasilan dalam penerapan metode ini, dengan kendala yang dapat teratasi dan peningkatan partisipasi warga melalui pemberian penghargaan. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan lahan sempit untuk TOGA memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat, terutama dalam aspek kesehatan dan lingkungan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan game 2D berjudul "Cat Collection Coin" berbasis single player dengan mengimplementasikan metode Finite State Machine (FSM) untuk mengelola perilaku karakter secara sistematis. FSM memungkinkan setiap karakter dalam game memiliki transisi keadaan yang terstruktur, seperti diam, berjalan, melompat, dan menyerang, berdasarkan input pemain dan kondisi permainan. Game ini dikembangkan menggunakan Godot Engine, yang menyediakan dukungan optimal untuk pengembangan game 2D. Penelitian ini juga membahas bagaimana FSM diterapkan pada berbagai level permainan untuk menciptakan alur permainan yang responsif dan menantang. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan FSM mampu meningkatkan modularitas logika permainan serta memberikan pengalaman bermain yang lebih dinamis. Implementasi ini menjadi solusi efektif dalam mengelola kompleksitas perilaku karakter pada game 2D berbasis single player.

Abstract

Community dedication is carried out with the aim of increasing the sales turn over of cloth mask at the UMKM Tanjung which is related in the sales of goods or shops. The method used in this services activity is through partial assistance and training. Partial assistance is carried out by providing guidence and training to improve skills in making mask innovations into painting maks. Creative economy assistance is carried out by making technology-based painting masks. Masks are designed using the basic graphic design sketch application on masks, so mask sketches can be custom ordered according to the wishes of potential buyers. Painting mask can also be a differentiator from other masks that are sold in the market, thus masks have different characteristics from other masks sold in the market. The result obtained are an incrase in the selling value of painting mask and and an increase in skills in the group of UMKM Tanjung. It can be concluded that the mentoring and training activities receive positive responses from the group based on the result.

Abstract

The use of technology in the early childhood learning process is rarely found despite the numerous benefits it offers. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the "Jelajah Alam" application in enhancing children's cognitive abilities. Research utilized quantitavive quasi-experimental : one sample pre-test post-test design. Research sample consisted of 19 kindergarten children selected through purposive sampling technique. Data measurement used was Nijmeegse Schoolbekwaamheids Testand Coloured Progressive Matrices Test. Data analysis use Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Findings revealed a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test score after implementing the "Jelajah Alam" application. Results indicated that the use of the application was effective in improving children's cognitive abilities. Results suggest that by playing “Jelajah Alam” application, enhance their cognitive ability based on their developmental phase. Result imply that by using technology, Parents and teacher have additional fun alternative to enhance their children cognitive ability.

Abstract

Indonesia with its rich cultural diversity, certainly results in the existence of various languages in it. In the dialect of a region, there are letter symbols that represent the expression of the region's unique language. One example of a language that shows unique characteristics in its writing system is Bima, known as the Bima script. Bima script, or often referred to as Mbojo script, is a writing system traditionally used in the Bima region, located in West Nusa Tenggara Province. Bima script is still not widespread among the public, so it is important to preserve it as part of the cultural heritage of the Mbojo tribe. This research aims to train a computer to recognize Bima characters. The Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method is used in this research to recognize Bima script handwriting. The dataset used consists of 2640 images of Bima script handwriting with 22 classes. The results showed a reliable performance of the CNN model, with an accuracy of 97,34%, precision 97,56%, recall 97,34%, and f1-score 97,31% on the test data.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based multilingual language learning media using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. This system supports learning five languages, namely English, Mandarin, Russian, Arabic, and English, through various features such as material management, quizzes, lectures, language levels, and integration with Telegram groups. RAD is used to accelerate the development process by enabling active participation of users in all departments. This study found that web-based language learning media meets user needs and provides an interactive learning experience, collaboration, and personal learning. This media is also equipped with intuitive navigation and clear visuals. This study makes a significant contribution to the development of multilingual language learning media and is an effective solution to improve the quality of global language learning. The application of the RAD method is efficient and can be applied to system development. For broader development, analytical learning and integration with external platforms can improve system functionality.

Abstract

The problem of waste, particularly textile waste, continues to increase in line with the growing trend of fast fashion and the lack of effective household waste management. Larangan Village, located in Candi Subdistrict, Sidoarjo, has great potential to develop a community-based waste management system through the active role of the PKK Larangan Mega Asri Women’s Group. This community service program aims to improve literacy, skills, and management of textile waste processing integrated with Internet of Things (IOT)-based technology. The implementation methods include socialization, skills training, technical assistance, monitoring, and evaluation of partner competency improvement. Based on the results of questionnaires completed by training participants, the textile waste processing training activities had a positive impact on improving participants’ knowledge, skills, and motivation. Each indicator aspect showed satisfactory results: knowledge (average score 4.60), skills (4.36), attitude, motivation, and sustainability (4.67), as well as program relevance and usefulness (4.70) on a five-point scale, with an overall average score of 4.56 or 91.20%. In addition, the application of technology through the “KLAMBIKU” IOT-based donation box innovation has strengthened the textile waste management system to become more efficient, integrated, and user-friendly. This technology enables real-time monitoring of box conditions, digital storage of donation data, and the provision of information on nearby donation locations to the community. Overall, this program demonstrates that the combination of skill-based education and the application of appropriate technology can serve as an innovative solution for community-based textile waste management.

Abstract

General Background Online attendance systems have become essential in modern organizations to ensure efficient and accurate employee attendance management. Specific Background Conventional attendance methods are prone to errors and data manipulation, while existing digital systems still lack comprehensive features such as integrated monitoring and real-time validation. Knowledge Gap Many current solutions do not fully integrate location validation, facial verification, and real-time reporting within a single system to support transparent attendance management. Aims This study aims to design and develop a web-based employee attendance application using the Rapid Application Development method to provide a more comprehensive and flexible solution. Results The developed SarAbsensi system integrates GPS-based location validation, photo verification, and real-time data processing, achieving functionality of 81.2%, reliability of 77%, usability of 80.8%, and efficiency of 86%, with an overall score of 81.2% categorized as very good. Novelty The system combines multiple validation mechanisms and real-time reporting features within a RAD-based development framework to support transparent and structured attendance management. Implications The application supports accurate attendance recording, facilitates monitoring by administrators, and provides a structured basis for organizational decision-making related to employee attendance and performance. Abstract

This study examines the security of the E-HOS System at RSUD Ibnu Sina Kab. Gresik, identifying critical threats and vulnerabilities, and offering mitigation strategies. Using qualitative methods, including interviews, observations, and documentation, data was collected from December 2022 to May 2023. The OCTAVE framework revealed 17 potential risk events, with user-related risks being the most significant, showing an RPN as high as 162 for access rights abuse. The study recommends implementing ISO 27001 controls—Access Control, Human Resource Security, and Communications Security—to enhance system security. These findings highlight the importance of robust IT security governance in healthcare settings. Highlight: Critical Risks: 17 events, highest risk in user access rights abuse. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the sentiment towards potential presidential candidates for the 2024 election in Indonesia based on Twitter users' opinions. Three prominent figures, Ganjar Pranowo, Anies Baswedan, and Prabowo Subianto, were surveyed to gauge their electability. Using machine learning classification methods, Support Vector Machine, Bernoulli Naïve Bayes, and Logistic Regression, sentiment classification was performed. The findings indicate that Twitter users expressed predominantly positive sentiments towards each potential candidate. The evaluation of the classification algorithms showed SVM with 84% accuracy, Bernoulli Naïve Bayes with 77%, and Logistic Regression with 84%. This research sheds light on public sentiment towards potential leaders, offering valuable insights for political strategists and decision-makers in shaping effective election campaigns. Highlight: Sentiment Analysis: The study employs machine learning techniques to analyze the sentiments expressed by Twitter users towards potential presidential candidates for the 2024 election in Indonesia. Positive Sentiments: The findings reveal that Twitter users predominantly exhibit positive sentiments towards all three potential candidates, Ganjar Pranowo, Anies Baswedan, and Prabowo Subianto. Election Insights: This research provides valuable insights into public sentiment, offering valuable information for political strategists and decision-makers in devising effective election campaigns for the upcoming presidential election.
