Abstract

The majority of Indonesia's population is Muslim, which means that it has great potential to become a center for the development of Islamic finance, including Islamic banking. However, the results of an OJK survey found that only 21.48% of Indonesia's population is classified as well-intentioned. This shows the low level of financial literacy of the Indonesian people. It can be said that the development of Islamic finance in Indonesia which is still relatively low is due to the lack of financial literacy of the people. Therefore, this service aims to provide additional insight regarding the introduction of Islamic banking, products produced by Islamic banking, the benefits of using Islamic banking. It is hoped that with this discussion of information, public understanding regarding Islamic banking will increase. To carry out these activities, our team disseminates understanding of Islamic banking by providing information and opening discussions through posts we make on Instagram. In the future, it is hoped that the public will be able to pass on this information to a wider audience and be able to use Islamic banking wisely.

Abstract

A photovoltaic direct current (DC) power can be changed into AC power using an inverter. The inverter must be connected to an alternating current (AC) load using wire, which has drawbacks in terms of air space, wire cost, and an unattractive view of the sky. It is appropriate to suggest a wireless power transfer (WPT) system concept to replace the use of wires in the transfer of electrical power. The WPT system has been conducted by the previous researchers, but it is still in the frequency system of hundred, kilo, mega or gigahertz, thus it can only be applied on DC load after rectifying it, but cannot be applied for a normal AC load, also its distance is relative near. The modelling of wireless photovoltaic power transfer (WPVPT) with a 50 Hz system frequency is presented in this work. The four modelling components that create the WPVPT system are models of the PV module, the transmitter circuit, the magnetic relay, and the receiver circuit. The findings indicate that the efficiency of the proposed WPVPT system is 71.27% without a magnetic relay and 72.82% with a magnetic relay. It suggests that the use of magnetic relay can improve the WPVPT system's efficiency.

Abstract

Electric power plants always use fossil fuels such as coal, oil, etc. However, the fossil fuel supply in Indonesia is decreasing from year to year. This causes power plants to be powered by using fuels that will not run out, such as solar Energy, water, wind, and others. Solar Energy, water, wind, and others are Alternative Energy or can also be called New and Renewable Energy. To guarantee a power plant powered by alternative Energy, it must be analyzed regarding the growth of new and renewable Energy. The method used in analyzing the development of new and renewable Energy is the Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System Method. MW or 0.599%. This result has increased yearly in Indonesia's new and renewable energy growth.

Abstract

Jakarta, as a rapidly growing urban area, faces challenges in balancing energy demand with supply while addressing environmental concerns associated with traditional energy sources. Electrical energy production prediction in urban environments like Jakarta is crucial for effective energy management, ensuring stable supply, and promoting sustainable development. The prediction of electrical energy production in Jakarta is critical for ensuring stable and sustainable energy supply. This research proposed the application of the adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) as a predictive tool specifically tailored for Jakarta's energy production prediction context. The research methodology used in this study is the ANFIS. Five levels make up the architecture of the ANFIS model: output, normalization, defuzzification, rule evaluation, and fuzzification. The fuzzification layer converts input variables into linguistic terms using membership functions, while the rule evaluation layer calculates the activation strength of each rule based on the input values. The predicted results of Jakarta electrical energy production from 2023 to 2028 are 65,288 GWh and there is an annual increase of 5.25%. The error contained in ANFIS is with a root mean square error (RMSE) value of 0.0001058% and a mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) value of 0.00875%.

Abstract

Three-phase transformers are integral components of modern electrical power systems, serving as the backbone of energy transmission and distribution networks. Their primary purpose is to step up or step-down voltage levels efficiently, enabling the transfer of electrical power over long distances with minimal losses. Due to their widespread use in industrial, commercial, and residential applications, understanding the operational characteristics of three-phase transformers is crucial for improving energy efficiency, ensuring reliability, and optimizing performance. The analysis of transformer characteristics, such as efficiency, voltage regulation, power losses, and behavior under varying load conditions. This research aims to analyze the characteristics of three-phase transformers using MATLAB. The results of the analysis obtained in the study of the characteristics of 3-phase transformers produce an active power (P) of 6183.42 W, a reactive power (Q) of 3832.14 VAR, an apparent power (S) of 7274.61 VA and a transformer efficiency of 97.75% with a time of 0.02 s and produces losses in copper of 81.65 W which forms electromagnetic field radiation where the radiation pattern of the electric field (E field) and the magnetic field (H field) is in the form of a polar graph.

Abstract

Transformers are essential components in electrical power distribution systems, and their performance is significantly influenced by operating temperature. High temperatures can lead to increased power losses, particularly copper losses, which reduce transformer efficiency. This research examines the impact of temperature on the efficiency of three-phase transformers, focusing on copper losses and the role of cooling systems in maintaining optimal performance. Using a combination of Thermovision infrared imaging and MATLAB simulations, this research introduces a novel integrated approach to correlate real-time thermal data with theoretical modeling of transformer losses. Unlike previous research that relies solely on either simulation or temperature sensors, the use of Thermovision provides spatially resolved, non-invasive temperature measurements that validate and enhance the accuracy of MATLAB-based thermal-electrical models. The results reveal that the operational temperature of 52.9 °C, as detected by Thermovision, is within safe limits; however, higher temperatures significantly decrease efficiency. The efficiency drops from 92.8% at 25 °C to 90.4% at 120 °C. The exponential trend in copper losses with temperature rise underscores the critical role of effective cooling and temperature monitoring systems. While the magnetic flux remains constant, maintaining lower operating temperatures is essential to prevent premature damage and extend transformer lifespan. Thermovision results were used to validate the simulations. Despite small discrepancies, the consistent pattern provides confidence that the simulation model is sufficiently accurate for performance prediction.
