Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri peranan organisasi non-pemerintah Solidaritas Perempuan terhadap nasib buruh migran perempuan kurun waktu 1990-1998. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode sejarah yang terdiri dair heuristik, kritik sumber atau verifikasi, interprestasi dan penulisan sejarah. Peneliti pada tahap heuristik mengumpulkan sumber baik primer berupa memoar perjalanan organisasi seperti Buku Putih Solidaritas Perempuan  maupun sumber sekunder seperti buku yang membahas buruh migran dan Solidaritas Perempuan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sejak berdirinya organisasi pada tahun 1990 sampai 1998, Solidaritas Perempuan mempelopori gerakan perjuangan melawan segala bentuk ketidakadilan yang dihadapi buruh migran perempuan baik oleh PJTKI, Agen Pengerah Asing maupun dari Pemerintah. Selama kurun waktu tersebut Solidaritas Perempuan  juga mengalami beberapa kali perubahan bentuk organisasi dari hanya sekedar kelompok kerja yang bersifat voluntaristik, lalu berubah menjadi yayasan dan akhirnya bentuk perserikatan untuk menunjang gerakan perlawanan dalam spirit feminisme. Dalam penanganan kasus buruh migran perempuan, Solidaritas Perempuan melakukan pendampingan kasus, penelitian, studi kebijakan dan hearing dengan Depnaker untuk pekerja migran, pengembangan jaringan kerja dan edukasi melalui penerbitan laporan atau buku panduanKata Kunci : buruh migran; Solidaritas Perempuan; organisasi non-pemerintah AbtractThis study aims to trace the history of the non-governmental organization Solidaritas Perempuan on the fate of female migrant workers during the period 1990-1998. The research method used in this research is the historical method which consists of heuristics, source criticism or leverage, interpretation and historical writing. Researchers at the heuristic stage collect primary sources in the form of memoirs on organizational journeys such as the Buku Putih Solidaritas Perempuan or secondary sources such as books discussing migrant workers and Solidaritas Perempuan. The results of the research show that since the organization's founded in 1990 to 1998, Solidaritas Perempuan has pioneered the movement to fight against all forms of injustice faced by migrant workers, either by PJTKI, foreign recruitment agencies or the government. During this period, Solidaritas Perempuan also underwent several changes in the form of the organization from just a voluntary work group, then turned into a foundation and finally a form of association to support the resistance movement in the spirit of feminism. In handling cases of female migrant workers, Solidaritas Perempuan uses a strategy of data tracking and research, mentoring and education as well as policy advocacy. Keywords : migrant worker; Solidaritas Perempuan; non-govermental organization

Abstract

This article discusses efforts to increase student motivation in history subjects at a vocational high school using a learning medium, namely documentary films. The purpose of this study was to find out the use of documentary films as a learning medium in increasing motivation to study history for class X students majoring in electricity at SMK Taman Siswa 2 Jakarta. This classroom action research took the setting in class X of the Electrical Department of SMK Taman Siswa 2 Jakarta with a total of 35 students. Implementation of activities carried out through 2 cycles. Research data were obtained from observing learning activities, informants (students, teachers, and school principals), documents, and photos of activities with the stages of planning, action, observing, and reflecting. The results showed that there was an increase through the use of Documentary Film media related to student learning motivation in the History subject of class X students in the Electrical Department of SMK Taman Siswa 2. The average student activity reached 70% in cycle 1. In cycle 2 student activity increased by an average 80% in the high category. Students are more active in asking, answering, giving opinions, interacting with groups and collaborating in groups and thinking critically in conveying various arguments regarding various historical events and other social sciences related to these historical events.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang peranan Aisyiyah di daerah Padang Pariaman (1965-1992). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah yang terdiri dari Heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi. Aisyiyah merupakan organisasi otonom perempuan Muhammadiyah yang berdiri tahun 1917 dengan awal nama Sopo Tresno. Keberadaan Aisyiyah sangat membantu di tengah-tengah masyarakat karena organisasi  Aisyiyah bergerak dan programnya di berbagai bidang seperti bidang kesehatan, pendidikan, kesejahteraan sosial, dan agama/tabligh. Program kerja yang ada di Aisyiyah diberbagai bidang dijadikan sebagai amal usaha organisasi dengan pembangunan fasilitas diberbagai bidang sesuai dengan tujuan organisasi Aisyiyah. Aisyiyah sendiri sebagai organisasi perempuan nya Muhammadiyah sering membantu masyarakat sebagai wujud gerakan nyata Aisyiyah, dalam implementasinya  Aisyiyah mampu mewujudkan dengan dimulai adanya Taman Pendidikan dan Seni Al-Quran (TPSA) di Pariaman tahun 1965, sedangkan gerakan dalam sosial nya dalam bentuk berdirinya panti Asuhan Aisyiyah putra dan putri  pada tahun 1970.

Abstract

This article aims to introduce the figure of Siti Rukiah Kertapati as one of Indonesia's female writers. Through her works, we can see the turbulent revolution around the 1940s to 1960s from the perspective of the common person, especially that of a woman. The narrative of women in the revolution presented by Siti Rukiah Kertapati is not grandiose by making the main character a "hero" in the story. The figure of a young woman who is restless between her heart and mind makes anyone who reads it also relate. With most of the themes carrying love stories and human inner struggles, Siti Rukiah Kertapati can bring a simple narrative but is still able to make it an interesting read. The method used is historical with a descriptive-narrative approach. The research data is taken from short stories collected in the book Tandus and the novel Kejatuhan dan Hati with interpretations made by the writer. The results of this research are expected to be useful for the general public to recognize and appreciate the works of Siti Rukiah Kertapati.Keywords: Siti Rukiah Kertapati, women, literature

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi PKBN2K dalam pembelajaran sejarah, dan melihat bagaimana respon peserta didik SMA BPK Penabur Bogor. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi, dan teknik analisis datanya menggunakan model analisis data model interaktif yang dikembangkan oleh Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana dengan tahapan antara lain kondensasi data, kajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi PKBN2K dalam pembelajaran sejarah di SMA BPK Penabur Bogor dapat dilakukan dalam dua tahapan utama yaitu: 1) guru sejarah sudah merencanakan indikator nilai PKBN2K terpilih yang akan diintegrasikan dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah; 2) guru sejarah mengimplementasikan materi sisipan yang sudah direncanakan ke dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah melalui dua cara yaitu secara eksplisit dan implisit.3) Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa PKBN2K menjadi suatu pedoman yang jelas dalam mengarahkan karakter peserta didik, dan hal itu terbukti dari sikap peserta didik selama pembelajaran sejarah berlangsung. 4) Hasil supervisi menunjukkan bahwa guru sejarah sudah mampu mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai PKBN2K ke dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah dengan baik dan tepat.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an understanding of multiculturalism in the classroom and the prospects for teachers applying it in history lessons. The number of students in the school already represents the diversity that exists, consisting of a variety of ethnicities, cultures, customs and religions. The teacher's emphasis on implementing multiculturalism in learning is an embodiment of the values of Pancasila as the ideology of the Indonesian nation which stands on the basis of diversity, tolerance with the motto Bhineka Tunggal Ika. Indonesia is often hit by inter-community conflicts and violence which can lead to divisions, be it ethnic conflicts or conflicts between religious adherents. Existing diversity often results in discrimination that leads to conflict and violence. The importance of the aspect of multiculturalism in view of the diverse conditions of Indonesian society demands mutual tolerance, respect and respect for these various differences. By using the method, a qualitative research approach and a case study approach at SMA Negeri 20 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta. The results of the study are supported by an independent curriculum reference which requires schools to apply the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, teachers practice directly in implementing multiculturalism education and create a multicultural learning culture and are able to generate student motivation. In practice, the teacher groups students according to the wishes, talents and interests of students. Implementation of the educational value of multiculturalism students create video content and pop-up book projects with Indonesian historical material such as tolerance, maintaining diversity, pluralism and multiculturalism.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the 1957 Asian Flu Pandemic in Indonesia, focusing on the government and public response. The 1957 Asian Flu Pandemic was the second pandemic in the world after the 1918 Spanish Flu Pandemic. The pandemic was caused by the H2N2 influenza virus and originated in China. From China, the virus spread to Hong Kong, Singapore, and the world, including Indonesia. The Asian flu was the first pandemic faced by the post-colonial government of the Republic of Indonesia. The pandemic occurred in Indonesia between May and August, with the number of sufferers reaching 202,469 people (according to the government). Using historical methods, this study shows that the existence of the Asian flu indirectly tested the government's work and readiness in dealing with a global pandemic. The Asian flu pandemic struck when the Indonesian government faced difficult problems after the War of Independence (1945-1949). This situation made it difficult for the government to act. Therefore, the policy of responding to the Asian flu seemed very careful and even slow. In addition, the lack of health sector services and infrastructure in various regions also interfered with handling the pandemic. This situation also caused poor coordination between the central and regional governments. As a result, the public became confused. People end up acting without direction, such as trying traditional medicine, spreading hoax news, violating quarantine rules, committing vaccination fraud, panic buying, and even performing various mystical rituals.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the perspectives of the people of Palembang on the Bukit Seguntang Site as the center of Buddhism. The method used qualitative description with the use of statistics to compile and display data as material for verification and interpretation. The results of this research showed that the people of Palembang did not know Seguntang Hill as a sacred place for Buddhist adherents, and its existence is only known as a sacred public cemetery. In addition, the people of Palembang have very little knowledge about the impact of development on historic sites even though it is stated in the Cultural Heritage Regulations of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 in 2010. Even though it has been stated in government regulations, the construction of galleries, cafes, and parks is still being built without taking into account the identity of the historical values ​​of Seguntang Hill.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis persepsi mahasiswa mengenai proses pembelajaran kewirausahaan dan kendala dalam pembelajaran kewirausahaan pada Prodi Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Negeri Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode Kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan Deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara, dan kajian dokumen. Teknik penelitian ini menggunakan trianggulasi sumber dan trianggulasi teknik. Kemudian teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran mata kuliah kewirausahaan berlangsung secara efektif dan interaktif, penggunaan media dan metode pembelajaran telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan pada masa kini, kemudian terdapat kendala yaitu pemahaman materi pembelajaran dan penerapan teori menjadi praktek dalam berwirausaha. Mata kuliah kewirausahaan pada Prodi Pendidikan Sejarah perlu diterapkan untuk menciptakan wirausaha muda yang memiliki kompetensi sangat baik.

Abstract

This research aims to explain how Indonesia's Diplomatic Relations with Brunei Darussalam developed in the 1984-1998 period. The research method used is a historical method consisting of heuristics, source criticism or verification, interpretation and historiography. In collecting sources, the author uses sources from contemporary newspapers and source books related to the discussion. The results of this research are that Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam have had good relations since the time of the kingdoms in the archipelago. One proof of this good relationship is the kinship between the Brunei Royal family and the Majapahit Kingdom. During the Guided Democracy era, Indonesia and Brunei had cold relations due to differences in political views between President Sukarno and the Sultan of Brunei Sir Omar Ali Saifuddin III regarding the movement for the Unitary State of North Kalimantan led by A.M. Azahari. During President Suharto's time, Indonesia restarted diplomatic relations with Brunei Darussalam which began in 1981 until official diplomatic relations in January 1984. In its development until May 1998, Indonesia's diplomatic relations with Brunei Darussalam went well with a high spirit of friendship. This can be seen through various collaborations in various fields such as politics, economics, education and tourism. The political and economic fields are the most impressive areas in diplomatic relations between the two countries. One of them is that Brunei Darussalam provided an interest-free loan to Indonesia in 1987.
